Why Some Neopians Don't Make... by Ginz and FairynotesXD Yeah, I'd see why... this is a cute comic. The art is nice, too.

Funny how I only review when I have something in the times. It's such a terrible and evil habit of mine. Pointless Nonsense- PFAVery cute, definitely a good chuckle. The last frame was a tad odd, I assume AAA has them in a jail of some nature but the perspective just wasn't working for me. Other than that, good job! Why Some Neopians Don't Make... by Ginz and FairynotesGreat art, great joke, what's not to like? I also enjoyed the fact that Mr. Tiki Tack Man's facial expressions change even though he wears a mask. Of wood. More to follow over the weekend...

I just took one short story at random to review. I don't have much time at the moment, but I may have some later this weekend to review other short stories.
Glacia by Dream Wow, I really liked this story. The entire time, I was thinking in my head, "What is this and how does it relate to Neopets?!" And then the end came around, and it suddenly all made sense. It's probably one of the most creative stories I've had the privilege to read, and I really did enjoy reading it. You describe things fluidly; you don't have huge descriptive paragraphs, yet your descriptions are always very good and memorable.
The twist of revelation at the end was very nicely done. Overall, I really enjoyed this story. Good job.

Super Chel: Part Three by Kitty
Aw... That pretty much sums up my feelings about the entire series. The last line was so cute! ^_^

Other than that, good job! Thanks! Yeah, that last panel was a pain... basically they're supposed to be locked in a room of some sort.

I'll get to reading things tomorrow, but for now...THE COMICS!!! :)
Pointless Nonsense - Games Room by PFA Oh, this comic was so cute! It is a shame that they've all been so abandoned... I really liked it. Thumbs up.
Why Some Neopians Don't Make... by Ginz and Fairynotes This is HILARIOUS!!! My sister's a teacher, and I work as a teacher's aid, so I find it only even greater because. ^_^
The Bunker by Huba You're right, the comic "wasn't funny enough" but the doodly bonus definitely was! It was just...so, so random, that I couldn't help it but laugh out loud! Since you're first comic, your art has definitely improved, and I think it looks your best yet. The expressions, especially in the last panel, are just amazing.
Razzle Dazzle - Episode X by Khestrel I really enjoy watching this comic-story develop; certainly, it's not always funny, per se, but it's always enjoyable to read and quite entertaining. I just love your art as well, I think it's amazing, and, for some reason, it reminds me of the Lion King (but I do, of course, mean that in the best way possible). My only objection is that your font is quite small, and I have to lean up close to the computer screen to read it.

So Hubadawaha and Khestrel are NTWFers? I knew I've seen them in the Times before, but I wasn't sure if they came here or not. ;; I guess I should add them...

Hey guys! Normally, I'm all about the comics.. but this time around a friend of mine and I tried an article. We're both members here though, so if we could pretty please get some reviews, I would be most appreciative. Ame.. The Truth About the Talisman Now, you may very well be thinking at this moment that you know all that there is to know about the Lutari Talisman. However... Huba is here! :D (after a week or two of respite... well, actually, more like a week or two of desperately trying to finish #3 before yet another week passed. >_<' I got stuck drawing and redrawing the expressions.) Anywho: To Wolf -at war: Yay! :'] Thank you for remebering me! I've been gone for a little while. To PFA: I'm a ninja, T_T I am well trained in being not noticed. *HIYA!* XD Just kidding! Thank you for adding me up top! Much appreciated! (plus, it's okay if you forgot me at first, I've been away. ^_^) Onward: The Bunker by HubaYou're right, the comic "wasn't funny enough" but the doodly bonus definitely was! It was just...so, so random, that I couldn't help it but laugh out loud! Since you're first comic, your art has definitely improved, and I think it looks your best yet. The expressions, especially in the last panel, are just amazing. Yeah, the main part of the comic was more to progress the plot than anything else. When I was done, I was like "I'm gonna get tons of Hoban fangirl mail, but this isn't funny enough." So, I sketched a few things and decided on Vrilyo's ice cream picture. ^_^ I've noticed something... a lot of the times, I put my funniest stuff in the note at the bottom. '_' Interesting... As for the art, to be honest, I've been trying harder. XD When I made #1, I couldn't figure out a way to show both their faces AND the house, so I went with the house, since it was key to the plot. As for #2, I figured I'd start it how I'd ended the first one. After that, I was totally psyched to finally draw their faces! =^_^= Buuuut only Aranane and Vrilyo got in some quality face (literally) time. -_-' And both of their eyes were anime super-d ish, so I still didn't really convey their whole character design. Still, they definitely evolve as I go along. (Example: Note that Vrilyo now has swirly wings when he's in his chibi-mode. =^_^= ) Finally: Huba's Comic(al) Reviews~ Pointless Nonsense- Games Room- I found this rather enjoyable, since I'd been wondering the same thing myself! XD Very clever! *shakes fist at evil AAA* Why Some Neopians Don't Make...- Loved it. That simple (I go to Tombola every day! I can't tell you how many times I've gotten that drink! XP ) The Bunker- The picture of Hoban is probably what contributed most to the long delay (so.... much.... shading! X/ ) The smoke was fun to make! :D Razzle Dazzle - Episode X - Beautiful, as always, and excellent expressions. Nice ending line. ^_^ End. For now...... *shifty eyes*

The Truth About the Talisman by Ethan_Redshaw and Gliderames Till halfway through this article, I was thinking, "This is ridiculous, beads can't do all these things, and there's been no mention of the phone thing, so this has got to be a comedic article and nothing more." Then, halfway through this, I asked myself, "Okay, can they REALLY do all of these things, because, well, this is being really helpful now!"
No matter that initial reaction, I really enjoyed reading this article. It was entertaining to read, easy to read, and incredibly well-written. It was also amazingly informative. All of these things are what I look for in an article, and you covered them all perfectly. I'm actually quite intrigued by the talismans now, as it does sound like they actually can do all of those things you said they do, but I think they're too expansive for my interest right now and I've got no cell phone, lol.
All in all, this was an incredible article. Good job!

It's been ages since I last reviewed stuff. Boo. Gotta stop being so lazy >> But my story, "Thor's Tales: The Rainbow Pearl" got mentioned on the News page, whoo :3 First time that's ever happened to me. All reviews are very appreciated, etc ^^
First off, COMICS, as usually.
Pointless Nonsense - Games Room A good joke, and nice art; that pixelated coloring is pretty interesting. Can't say that I'm too fond of the round mouths though, they give a somewhat shocked impression. And in the second panel the Aisha could've looked more towards the Kacheek. As for the door in the last panel, it should probably have gone across the colorful floor, otherwise it kills the perspective. But I liked it ^^ Nice and colorful. Just... why oh why must people always stick the footnotes down there? T___T They're usually very, very redundant. Unless the comic really calls for an explanation -- which should be avoided anyway -- footnotes are a big no-no. The key to good comic-making is keeping it short, simple and relevant. *sage nod* But still, good work ^^
Why Some Neopians Don't Make... Hey, that's the kinda school I like x3 Love the joke, and the art. For some reason I really like the Tombola Man's expression in the second panel, must be the eyebrows x3 The background felt kinda bland, but it's once again me and my love for details speaking. Well done, both of you :3
The Bunker Gotta admit that the only part in this comic that actually made me chuckle (which happens rarely these days, so kudos to you x3) was the bonus doodle. But it was a nice comic, with pretty nice art, especially the Peophin summoning the magic and the mist around the house. Gotta point out Hoban's feet though. If he were to stretch that left leg out, it'd be longer than the right one. I've drawn a pose like that, it's extremely tricky >< And while we're at Hoban, the 'on vacation' note felt redundant. But still, a good comic ^^
Razzle Dazzle - Episode X Oh the pretty art @.@ The backgrounds were a bit dark, and seeing that I have an LCD monitor, some of the colors can probably end up as completely black in older monitors. But still, a lovely comic ^^ Nice to see that people still do comic series.

Shadowflame: The Seeker by Brains In my opinion, the introduction was not needed. I have read Prisoner and Snowfall, and I feel neither was necessary to be able to understand this; in fact, I think this was a perfect time for new readers to come in, as things were adequately explained as the story went on and, thus, prior knowledge of Shadow seemed unnecessary to me.
Of the story itself, I loved it. I have become a fan of your Shadowflame series, definitely. I think your opening could have been better, though, for although you gave a great scene to enter the story with, there wasn't much of a hook to really grab the reader, and some of the earlier descriptions seemed unnecessary as well, though the sword's note towards the beginning was definitely a nice touch (as the the letter itself, too; I liked that). The dialogue seemed real, though it did get confusing (but that confusion felt real, too, as if I truly were listening in on a conversation) and the battle scene towards the end was just awesomely executed.
This one "part" seemed almost to introduce the mission, so I definitely look forward to more.
Protectors: Shared Dreams by Nut I really enjoyed reading this story, as it was quite well-written and entertaining. I don't know what to say of the ending, but, well, it came upon me suddenly and there seems to be more to tell. Is there, perhaps?
Anyways, you did a good job with this, and the custom looks really awesome.
