The story of the good dogs took awhile to tell, but it was a good one, and I have recovered to bring this month's game offerings! It is the perfect season for a horror game, but I don't want to out leave those who aren't horror fans from the festivites, so here's the plan: I will be running two spooky, magical games as Halloween approaches-- Don't Rest Your Head (scary) and another one shot of Magic Cleanup Service (not scary.) If you want to chill and clean up a haunting with your friends, and/or navigate a surreal land of nightmares and grotesquely punny threats, please vote! You can do both. I need two players for each game, but each can easily take 5! Both of these games are character based and have d6 based systems with way less math than Pugmire. DRYH requires some heavier thought to make the characters, but with both games the prep is mostly narrative.
I am free to GM after 8pm EST (and before 11am EST, less ideally) all days, and between those times on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please let me know when you are free as well, and we'll schedule.

I'm more into chill spooky vibes rather than actual horror, but it'd be cool if there's interest for both games! =D Americaland's D&D sessions have resumed, so my Wednesday evenings are booked, but other than that, my schedule is super flexible. ^^

I'd love to play the Magical Cleanup Service again! =D My schedule's pretty flexible overall, but I have an appointment this Thursday the 28th in the afternoon, so that time wouldn't work for me.

I'm up for both games! (Though I understand if there's only enough interest for one. xD ) I have a pretty overall flexible schedule too. Unless something changes, I should be free on both dates, so long as the game starts after 2pm EST at least.

With aproximately five players for Magic Clean Up Service, the game is on! Please like this post to be added to the haunting clean up crew chat.
If the phantom voter who also wants to play the horror game confirms interest, we have enough players for Don't Rest Your Head as well! It runs well with smaller group, so this is exciting!
I may be going to Legoland on Thursday, but would be free in the late evening onwards (or in the morning before the park opens.) Other potential times are Wednesday afternoon or later night as well (before or after Ginz's other game), or on the calendar weekend after I clock out for the day.

Our spooky fun game will be on this Thursday, 6pm - 9pm EST. We still have three open slots, if anyone wants to join last minute. The prep for this game is very straightforward. EDIT: We have full party now!
I can run the horror game this Saturday or Sunday, before or after work, we just need one more player to come forward!
To our two phantom voters, please identify yourself to me in some way. While the polls are a helpful metric, I can't actually see who votes and need to know who is playing to schedule games.

I didn't vote in the poll, but I'd still be interested in replaying Magical Cleanup Service with a different role/character. I am busy though that evening starting at 9 EST, so if I were to play the game it would have to have an earlier start time.

I learned today that I don't have work this Friday, so I am doing a special Friday one shot(11/26) of the game Spell. This is a character driven fantasy ttrpg where you cast magic by arranging letters to spell words. It uses only six-sided dice and a letter generator.
Please let me know if you have interest ASAP and we will get a group together and prep characters.

We will be playing a themed game of Campfire Memories this month. This is set in the world of the animated series Hilda and will feature Sparrow Scout campers as the central "group of people, and sometimes a dog, who love each other." It uses six-sided dice and collaborative storytelling. We can decide if this is a different group in Trolberg, since it's a pretty large city, or if we want a different home base entirely. I found a reference wiki if needed, but the show is a seriously good watch if you haven't seen it.
I'm still the most free on Wednesdays and Thursdays, although Thursdays may be trickier because of the NTWFDND campaign I'm playing in. I can also schedule before and after work (11am-8pm EST) as needed. Please let me know if interested!

I'm very interested! I've been really excited about a Hilda themed game ever since you first mentioned that idea! My scheduling might be a little tricky because Wednesday evenings I have Americaland D&D, and now Thursdays we'll be starting our NTWFDND campaign, but I'm sure we can figure out a day and timeslot that works ^^

How well would you say you need to know Hilda to play the game? Personally, I've read one or two of the graphic novels, and watched the first episode with my preschooler cousin before he wanted to do something else. It's an excellent series, I just don't have Netflix.

If you've read the graphic novels and seen the show, that should work more than fine for capturing setting and tone (and I will link the wiki I found). If you can make 8:30pm EST this Thursday (1/27), let me know, and I'll give you the last slot and add you to the camper chat!

Game selections are up for this month's game! We have two contrasting choices, The Dark Below, a spooky dungeon crawl that uses one twelve-sided dice and light prep, and Glitter Hearts, a magical transforming warrior adventure game that uses two six-sided dice and a bit more prep. Both take 3-6 players. I already have played two tabletop rpgs sessions this month and have two more already booked, so I can't run both gamebooks this month, but whatever isn't chosen can be a future offering.
Please let me know your preference and general availability. I can't do the afternoon of the 17th or night of the 21st, but I'm still the most free on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and I can schedule before and after work (11am-8pm EST) if necessary.
