The first session was pretty fun, so I'm planning another game for the "weekend" after my Birthday-- either Wednesday, the 24th, or Thursday, the 25th. I will be delving back into my library to run either Threadbare or Costume Fairy Adventures. Both of these use six-sided dice and their own rulebooks, run 2-3 hrs, suit 2-6 players, and star functionally immortal creatures in minimal combat settings,. Threadbare is a stitchpunk post-apoc adventure game staring toys, focused on making, mending, and friendships. Costume Fairy Adventures is an adapatable fantasy adventure game staring mischievous fairies with cosplay powers, focused on fae magic and shenanigans. Both games are also bit more mechanically complex than the previous game, so more prep will be involved, mostly on my end. So, if interested, please vote on your preferences for game and day! If your favorite isn't chosen this round, do not fear! I like both, so whatever doesn't get run this month may be offered in a future session. In addition to voting, it would help if you can post your preferences for gamebook, day, and time of day. Please post as well with your preference for tone, as both games have mechanisms to skew either silly or moderately serious. Huzzah! =D Threadbare particularly catches my attention. Wednesdays are usually my busy days (at least in the afternoon), but if push comes to shove I can always reschedule the other thing. I do have a due date on the 24th, though. But maybe I can get the thing done earlier? ...Who knows. xD Point being, Threadbare on the 25th is my preference, if I play. As for tone, hmm... I feel I could go either way? I think part of what catches my attention for Threadbare is a hint of a serious tone to it, though it can be whimsical. Not like dark, just meaningful. I can go for whatever, though! |

We are now approaching the week before the game, so if anyone else is interested, it would help to let me know as soon as possible. If you are on the fence because of timezones, please know that game time is flexible, as though I am a nocturnal creature, naps are an option! To the mysterious individual who voted in the poll without posting, please contact me in some form or another to confirm interest, as you would make a minimum party. Gelquie, your votes are in! The moderate tone is Threadbare's default, although it funnily enough offers a grimdark option too (seems ill-suited to a one-shot even if kept pg-13). |

Hello, it is me! I am the mysterious individual who voted in the poll without posting! I am interested because the games sound super fun, but I didn't post because 1) I wanted to give others a chance to play, since I was lucky to be in the first one-shot you ran, and 2) I wasn't 100% sure I could commit because... Wednesdays are usually my D&D days, but the 24th also happens to be my mom's birthday. So I had to ask my D&D pals to reschedule, and I worried there was a chance they would pick to have the session on the 25th, which meant I might not be available either day after all, depending on the time. This isn't looking likely to be an issue, though. So, yeah, you can count me in for the 25th!  Moderate tone is my preference, so i'm good with that too. |

I'm probably gonna sit this next one out; this coming week I'll actually be out of town, so my day to day schedule will be more topsy turvy, and I also want to take things easier for the moment while adjusting to a lot of life changes. I wish all those who do play a fun session, though, sounds like you've got good options on what to roleplay!

Based on current results, we will be running Threadbare in the moderate "Scruffy" tone on the 25th! I will be adding Gelquie and Ginz ❤ to a game chat on Discord, and we can start character-making and pick a timeslot. With just two players at this moment, it will be easier to add someone last-minute, but do tell me by the evening of the 24th so we have time to get you set up for game! |

Session 2 was a delightful fever dream of game featuring circus puppets, a mechanical bee, and a post-apoc amusement park.
Session 3 will be run some time this month. We can either revisit the Threadbare universe with a different cast, give Costume Fairy Adventures a try, or I can can sort through my library for something different if anyone has specific genre requests.
For those potentially interested, what week works best for this game? (7/8, 14/15, 21/22, and/or 28/29)

I'm potentially interested. My current busy schedule probably won't allow time for this, though, but I'll go ahead and vote in the poll, and say that the last week of April is potentially the best, since that gives me the most time to sort things out and become less busy.
I'm off every Wednesday until 3:00 NST/Pacific Time, when my class starts. But I usually need that day for catching up on things. Still, I guess I prefer Wednesdays.

The 28th is a possibility, yeah. I did get my schedule for next week, though, and I am off both Wednesday the 21st, and Thursday the 22nd. I have class in the evening on Wednesday, and a dentist appointment in the morning on Thursday. And I'd like to visit my Grandma one of those days. But that leaves the other day for possible roleplay shenanigans. So if you want, Pixie, you could have your pick of the two days next week, if you want, and I can work my visit around. Off the top of my head, though, I'm guessing that Wednesday will work better for me, as I know what time my class starts, as opposed to Thursday, when I have no idea how long the dentist will take, but they did say a couple hours at least. Hm... also, this is over voicechat, so maybe not Thursday, because I might have trouble speaking clearly afterwards, I'm not sure. So anyway, there's this Wednesday the 21st, or we can roll the dice for the next Wednesday the 28th. Or you don't have to worry about me at all. But if you're interested, well, that's what my week's shaping up for next week. Thanks! |

I'm interested in playing (as always!), but if we do Wednesday, I'm only available if we finish before 7pm CST/5 pm NST, because Wednesdays are my D&D days as well. Since June's class is in the evening as well, it sounds like it would work out, though! ^_^

June Scarlet Ginz ❤ RielCZ I can start the game whenever I am back from the dentist myself on the 21st, which should be around 3 EST/ 12 NST. I'll keep you all posted. How much time do you need to get to your class, June Scarlet? We could fit the typical 2-3 hr session for when RielCZ and I become available, June Scarlet and Ginz don't have other obligations-- roughly 3-6 EST.
If this works, like the post and I'll add you to a planning chat on Discord. I have a lot going on in the morning, but can definitely make this work if we prep in advanced.
There would still be room for up to three more players if anyone else is interested!

Pixie My class is actually online, and starts at 5:30 Central/6:30 Eastern time, so I've already built in time to eat supper and get ready for class. So 2pm-5pm Central/3pm-6pm Eastern time would work for me fine. Thanks!
