Whoops the donation period ended. I was busy and only made it to page 14 of my SDB. I have 75 pages. Didn't donate enough to get the boons that interest me most.

I see two I definitely want to get, but they aren't available yet. Some of the tempting ones aren't available yet either. So I wait.
Edit: I spent 1 point and got the only theme listed that I didn't have already. Yay, big spender!

Apparently the Random Event one is re-buyable after it's used up. Eh, while waiting for the ones I want I might as well at least buy one of the Random Event ones to see how it's like. Hm, not bad. It's worth 300k and I know I spent more to get 5k, though this is the first day and if I keep getting stuff like this it'll more then pay for the points I spent on it!  Sill waiting for Bank Bribery and Cheaper by the Dozen, and how much does Spiked! increase a stat... |

All the perks except Notable Achievement are active now!
The Spiked! perk can be applied twice and is random. I got +10 Def the first time and +10 HP the second time. Interestingly, the description for that boon now has the same disclaimer that's on the Bank Bribery and Cheaper by the Dozen boons, saying that it doesn't stack with the Obelisk boon of the same name, except to my knowledge there's no such boon from the Obelisk. Not sure if someone made a really weird mistake or if the Obelisk skirmishes are getting a revamp soon.
Also finally got the avatar boon because there's no way I was getting the Mutant Graveyard of Doom II avatar normally, and ended up getting the second Royal Korbat avatar, which was cool!
Alsoalso I renewed the random event perk because it was fun the first time. (And because in the first week I got a plushie PB that I just sold for 2.4Mil so I want to see if my luck holds up.)

*decided to finally get 'em perks*
*diligently went through her current avatar list and ascertained that she has all clickables*
*except for emo usuki because ain't nobody got time for that*
*opted to get the avatar perk anyway because eh, it's a gamble*
*got emo usuki*
*only had a thousand points left over so opted to get the battledome stat increase*
*+10 intelligence!*
Considering how the new site theme I got earlier was Chadley's, I'm fairly sure that the perk shop is trolling me xP (I did, however, get both inventory increases, which is neat.)

Ugh, my Perk Shop glitched when trying to redeem Spiked!. Not only did it not go through (thankfully it didn't take any points), but when I tried applying again it thought I was trying to redeem the "Colour it Wild" Perk underneath it (thankfully it doesn't take points until after painting your Neopet). Then I noticed that all Perks from Spike! and under have been moved up a slot, the ones with expiration dates are in the wrong slots and the very last Perk has a blank slot where its expiration date is suppose to be! I believe the Spiked! "Apply" button is the one gone.
Though it sees like a batch of others are having this problem too.
*Sigh* At least I got Bank Bribery and Cheaper By The Dozen.

Um. I had Bank Bribery running from the most recent battleground round, and I haven't activated the CC boon yet. It looks like the CC boon broke the other one, though, because even though the text says that I have a bonus, it's not being shown on the "collect interest" button. :/

So, everything looks fixed now and so time to do my Spiked!: 10 Intelligence 2 Levels ... I still got Bank Bribery and Cheaper By The Dozen so it's okay... though I'd still have 2025 points remaning... and even if I decide to waste the 2k on stuff I don't need those 25 points are just gonna rot (that I didn't go that far above 100k now). Well, with the Perk Shop fully out and we saw all it has to offer (I'm not going to even bother waiting for the other because who honestly is going take that one?), I decided to make my END OF EVENT REVIEW! I posted it on the Neoboards but will be writing a cleaner version on my Cloud Wocky's petpage tomorrow. |

Hah, so there was a glitch with the Spiked! boon where an HP increase just healed your pet rather than increasing their base HP. I got an HP increase but later confirmed that yep, just a heal. Then when I got online today I saw this Neomail from TNT:
Clear and honest communication and reasonable compensation for a mistake - this is how you do good customer service.

For those who bought Bank Bribery: Did the counter start when you bought it, or does it go by full days like the Battleground version? I'm wondering if it would be best to hold off until tonight so that I won't miss the last day.

So, after a week of the Random Acts perk, gotta say I can't complain! Not everyday was great, but most days were. The spoils: Maraquan Mynci Morphing Potion (450k) Kau Transmogrification Potion (900k) Super Nerkmid (80k)... which I used to get a Spotted Paint Brush (850k)! Pink Paint Brush (1.3 mil)     For a total of 3.5 mil! So is it worth 5k points? Well a lot of my points came from 4 point Battlecards that by the end of Charity Corner cost 500 NP. So 5,000 / 4 = 1,250 * 500 = 625k NP. So in the end I got a 2.875 mil profit (actually more since I was buying Battlecards when they were as low as 150 NP and it steadily increased as the days went on)! So tomorrow I'm definitely going to get it again, too bad I can only get it two times.  I still have like 80k points left and even if I buy everything I'm going to still have a substantial amount of points left... |

If I remember correctly, your pets will be shown on the front page for an entire day, more specifically, the Notable Neopian/Notable Neohome section. |
