Welcome to our shiny new Profile Change thread! We’ve merged the old Profile Change Request and Rank Upgrades/Adjustments threads into a central one stop shop for all your profile changing needs. :D
Here's what we can change for you:
Ranks: Here at the NTWF we have a wide range of ranks you can select from, most based on your accomplishments on the forum or in the creative contests of Neopets (For tiered contests like the Random Contest, it doesn't matter which rank of trophy you earned, bronze, silver, and gold are all equally valid!)
If you have more than one kind of trophy, you can switch which one you wish to display in your profile. Forumers can be members of more than one Group. For instance, a Jack-of-all-trades can also have the appropriate NT, Poetry, Art, and Storytelling groups assigned to them. No more need to ask a Mod to change your rank as you can do it yourself! When you post your request, be sure to include your Neopets user name, so we can verify the trophy lookup.
To switch between ranks, go to "Edit Profile" and in the tab under "Settings", there is a section called "Display Group". This will allow you to switch between all the ranks you currently hold at will.
Post Count: The number will go up as you post, so don't ask for a number you like just 'cause you think it's pretty. Only whole numbers work. No decimals, no fractions, no percentages. No .ninja, 'cause that'd make you a doofus. (Really! We’ve tried. >_>) We prefer that custom postcounts don't interrupt the genuine top posters list, so no million posts requests just to be #1, please.
Custom Titles: Anything within reason. Custom titles are the little bits of text under peoples' stars. BBCode (that is, the bits of code that allow italics, bold, scrolling, etc.) can be used. Therefore, titles can be different colors, etc. Some people even have tiny pixel images/animations as custom titles. Completely random titles can be done on request, but let the requester beware. They’re really random. XD
Badges: There is no limit to how many badges you can get aside from whether you qualify for a badge. You may suggest new badges to any mod/admin, but we reserve the right to reject it if it does not fit the badge criteria, since we have so many badges as it is (group badge or achievement badge). So to prevent disappointment, please do not create badge artwork until your idea has been approved.
