Correct me if I'm wrong, but are all of those avatars clickables for the most part? I think the only one I'd gain is the you get one or the other Korbat clickable... I'm missing two of the listed site themes so that'll probably be my goal. Yeah, the lone exception is the Mutant Graveyard of Doom II Thought I had the Helpful Zafara one, but I guess not. I'll take it.

It's pretty cool to have both Royal Korbat avs now. That's kind of a quirky bonus I wasn't expecting.

Well, that's another one for the list. I'll take it, haha.

So now that it seems the Perks Shop is "complete" and we have a FAQ, a quick run down: Notable Achievement: WorthlessBurp!: Worthless Limited Edition: Alright Healing Hoopla!: Worthless Bigger is Better: Okay Novel Experience: Worthless Bonus Feature: Eh Bring Back the Old Days: Alright In a New Avatar: Okay Dragon Drama: Shameless Spiked!: Eh Colour it Wild!: Nice Random Acts: Alright Bank Bribery: Nice Glam Up: Eh Cheaper by the Dozen: Nice... Okay, I'll give some more indepth opinions, but I generally have the same opinion as JN's guide: Notable Achievement (10k for 7 days): Openly advertise that you have a ton of NP to burn so every hacker attempts to get into your account or your neomailed by beggers until you have to disable your Neomail for only 10k for only a day (even though it says duration is seven days, don't know how that works) ! Seriously, if you can even afford it, don't get it! It's like a high score list you need to buy to be on on top of spending what you already did to be able to afford it! What sense does that make? Burp! (1k for 7 days but only 3 times): Omelettes, Jellies, Theater, Neolodge, and not to mention all the other ton of food items that are tossed at you from Dailies or you can buy for a handful of NP. Even if you only donated the items worth 1 NP enough times to afford this, you'd probably still have spent more NP than normally needed to feed your Neopet! And they think this perk is so good they limited to three uses? JS, do you guys even have accounts? Limited Edition (5k): Could be worth it under the right condition. Now if you just want to change your Neopet into that Limited Edition species, check to see if there's a cheap Morphing Potion for it first. But, if you wanted a Limited Edition species in a certain Colour than it's a better deal as it doesn't change your Neopet's Colour (unless you try changing it into a Coloured Neopet that doesn't exist, probably will turn into a Basic Colour). Once again, remember to check the prices of Morphing Potions. For example, if you want a Pirate Lutari, you may first want to use a Pirate Techo Morphing Potion (5k) than change its species to Lutari (which is by far the best choice as all of its morphing potions are worth near or over a million NP). Healing Hoopla! (500 but only 3 times): Healing Springs and cheap healing potions (also healing BD equipment). And this only heals the once (and they thought this was also so good they limited it to 3 uses?!), it's not like the food one which at least keeps your Neopet full. And these are the people we're trusting to implement the HP Increases! Bigger is Better (500 but only twice): A permanent Inventory increase? Okay, could be useful. Though not everyone needs it, if you only have so many points obviously don't bother. But if you have the points I don't see why not to get it. Novel Experience (500): WOW, how out of touch with modern internet do you need to be to think this was a good idea for a perk? Nowadays most browsers come with ad-blocking features not to mention its easy enough to get a ad-blocking program. *Sigh* Bonus Feature (100 for 1 day): Sounds good... until you know the details. It'll double your NP but only up to 1000. So while it's certainly useful for some games, it's not for all. Maybe at some point someone would make a list of games that can take the most advantage of this perk. Of course, another issue is it's only for one day and it's worth 100 points each. Over time that builds up and honestly its questionable if the NP you'll make will equal the NP you spent to get those points. That all said, with it being 100 points it might mean, after buying more expensive perks, if you have extra points left you might as well plan a game day, activate this perk, maybe open a Game Fortune Cookie, and see if how much you can make in a day. Bring Back the Old Days (1 but only once): 1 Point for potentially getting a Site Theme that's retired, yes please! Okay, this does sound too good to be true and it sort of is. While there are certainly retired Site Themes you can get... there's also site themes you can still get like the Purple (which you can just get with one click...), Valentines Day, and Winter Holiday. So you should check what Site Themes you have and plan accordingly, maybe saving off redeeming this one if you have a site theme that's still acquirable but may involve some waiting. I had all but one it was offering: Treasure Keepers! Never was able to get it so I'm glad I can now! I'm sad they didn't have more of the obscure ones like Puzzle Adventure or Quizara's Curse, maybe next year. In a New Avatar (50 but only once): Awesome! A chance to get retired Avatars too?... NOPE! For some reason, the list of Avatars you can get are mostly if not all CLICKABLE ONES CURRENTLY ACTIVE!? Like, what? Why, what's the point? Oh, and one of them is the Emo Usuki Avatar, you know, the Avatar you can easily obtain and lose again! There are SO many retired Avatars, at least offer some of them! Oh well, if you plan right at least you can get the other gendered Royal Korbat Avatar (or Graveyard of DOOM II Avatar if you were having problems getting it). Dragon Drama (100): JS do you have no shame... Well, I guess a little cross promotion never hurt... of course this is such an obscure way of doing it. I wonder what and how good will the items be from this? Spiked! (1000): Now, for the average Neopian this probably isn't that great (unless the spike is a considerable amount), but for players who Neopet's cost a lot of NP to train? Maybe. I'm certainly going to keep my eye on it. Colour it Wild! (10,000 but only one): Oh, it's expensive but for some players may be worth it! It's essentially an unlimited Rainbow Pool, you can paint your Neopet ANY Colour its available in, like Robot. Curious if it'll also do MSP Poogle, Alien Aisha, Ice Bori, and the various Edible Chia (most notably Pea); would make it even more worth it... if you got 10k (you know JS, if you TOLD players about this more players would have donated and now not complaining as much *sigh*). Hm, if it's allowed, once the Boon Perks become active I could offer someone here my use of this Perk. We'll have to see. Random Acts (5,000 for 7 days): This sounds promising... we need to see what RE we can get. That 5k points is a pretty steep cost though, but if some of the REs are the ones that give Paint Brushes, Transmogrification Potions, TCG cards, Chia Pops, Stamps, or Morphing Potions it could be potentially worth it. Bank Bribery (5k for a year): A copy of the Battlegrounds Boon of the same name, for the value it's offering it's amazing! Glam Up (10k): Hmm, 300 NC isn't bad though is it worth the points? I'm not sure, especially when you for this amount of points you could test your luck and see if you can get a really good Random Event for seven days. Maybe potentially worth it for those with points leftover but with it being 10k I highly doubt that'll be the case. Cheaper by the Dozen (5k for a year): A copy of the Battlegrounds Boon of the same name, for the value it's offering it's amazing!.. Yes, I copy and pasted, but what else do I have to say. Overall a mixed bag. Some make you wonder what JS was thinking while others will have you overlook JS's odder choices. I'm surprised they didn't copy more of the Battleground's Boons, but what's important is that they got the two best ones. Though some definitely could use work, especially that Avatar one. Finally, why are some "Coming Soon"? Everyday we don't have Bank Bribery or Cheaper By The Dozen we're losing value from them!

There's another boon (it's only mentioned in New Features as it affects everyone, not just those who participated in Charity Corner):

I got Cyodrakes Gaze and Curse of Maraqua as my site themes.
I still can't believe I only got 1 out of 5 right during that mini-plot and got nothing for it x.x

There's another boon (it's only mentioned in New Features as it affects everyone, not just those who participated in Charity Corner): Whaaaaaat. Finally! I'm happy with both my avatar and site themes results. Though I think if they do this again, I would prefer if they added more of the "own/battle/do something with this obscure pet/petpet" avatars, and maybe some of the really irritating chance-based ones (like the ones from the symol hole, the snowager, the kings, etc..) Nothing that it's a serious skill-based achievement or hefty investment to get, but things that might be eluding players through sheer bad luck or that most people would just get through a lend anyways. It being mostly clickables just seems a little pointless, since you can grab all of those in 30 seconds from multiple fanmade lists (though I recognize and appreciate that the idea was to avoid giving out the super fancy and highly valued ones, I just think they undershot.)

I had just decided that out of all the site themes, I didn't want the Krawk Island one (mainly due to having a giant squid as one of the cycling footer images), but of course, which site theme do I get?
You guessed it, Krawk Island, lol. Well, I had actually participated in this event/plevent/whatever it was, unlike all the others, so at least I can pretend I'd actually earned it via the original event. XD
The other one I got was Cyodrake's Gaze, btw. I'd've liked ToW, CoM, or SFEC, but oh, well. 😊
Still haven't tried for the avatar one 'cause I want to increase my odds of getting that impossible Korbat avvie, but there are still some I need to cross off my list first. : o

There's another boon (it's only mentioned in New Features as it affects everyone, not just those who participated in Charity Corner): =D!! That is awesome and well overdue, considering what inflation has done to the actual prices of items. This means that I can now sell some of my more expensive junk and also look into upgrading my battle set and suchlike, because I could never be bothered to jump all the hoops with the Trading Post to either buy or sell something unless I really really wanted it. (NP limit? Mandatory item attached to bid? Find the item you want but it's part of a bigger lot so you need to neomail the seller to split and negotiate? whyyyyy, just let me buy and sell in peace and with ease forcryingoutloud.) see, kids, this is how you enliven an economy. Re: perk shop, good mixed bag, this is pretty much what I was hoping for, particularly in regards to the variety for the different people who'll want different things out of the site. I only racked up a bit under 3000 points so there isn't a whole lot I can get, but there also isn't a whole lot I'd be desperate to get. Gonna need to see if I've missed any site themes in the past.

Shop cap increase, at last! That was way overdue indeed! It won't only make it easier to sell stuff, but also to buy stuff. I am not going to miss the long string of: "Lowest price on TP." *scroll* "lowest on TP!" *scroll scroll* "cheapest on TP" *scrolllll* "LOWEST ON TP!!1!" Also I don't know about y'all, but the banner announcing the perk shop on the front page is making me picture Granny popping out of the box like

One thing this is making me wonder is if we are going to see a similar raise in TP and auction limits. Like maybe TP up to 100m and auctions up to 1b?

Jesus are we at this point already? I agree, love the new price limit. One thing battledomers have pointed out is that it makes R99s more accessible, which means faerie quest prizes like Wand of the Dark Faerie and Illusens Staff could see a bit of a price decrease in the future. Right now they're shooting back up because of plot hype and general hopefulness for the Battledome, however... But as Liou mentioned, I'm so happy that this actually forces item owners to PRICE THEIR OWN ITEMS rather than just putting up a "offer" or "lowest on TP". JUST PUT WHATEVER YOU THINK IT'S WORTH FKJSDKFJDKSF. If it's too high, other lots will either price their items lower or someone's gonna neomail you asking to haggle; if it's low, some reseller is going to snatch it up. Either way, you're eventually going to figure out its actual value much quicker than literally letting it sit there with 9 other items and an "offer". (in fact sometimes I feel like we should just do away with the TP in general and just have shops/auctions. Like who actually trades with items anymore. 99% of lots ask for pure NP anyway) (yes I have way too many grievances with the TP)
