I'm going to wait until they update the FAQ before I purchase anything.
Not going to comment on the Perks just yet, though gotta say I'm not impressed with the presentation. Yeah, it's a nitpick but I think to how we're presented the Boons for the Battlegrounds, most notably having a simple image to represent the Boon.

Here are my thoughts There are two that I'm going to find very controversial: Bring Back the Old Days (grants user an existing site theme), and In a New Avatar (grants user an existing avatar), especially since these are unlimited (1 and 50, respectively), meaning that yes, retired site themes and avatars can be received from these boons. |

Aaaactually, I decided to redeem both of them and I could only redeem them both once. I got them both and they now say, "Out of Stock!" So they aren't unlimited. At least not now. I don't know if it's one a day or one forever, but that's what I have now.
Also, about those boons, they're random. I am not a fan of that. I think it would be best if they could be chosen. I don't know if that's going to be fixed or not, but that's how it is now. |

"Get an avatar you don't have from a select list" OMG. I'm. Kind of dying to know what's on that list. Site themes, too!
The NC, the full year of 10np stocks, and exclusive lab ray color are also all kind of tempting. That last one would be an awfully nice thing to be able to add to a custom. |

Well, darn. Wish I'd have tried for a little over 5k at least, lol. Oh, well! I can get the site theme and avvie - though yeah, it sucks about it being random. At least let us choose the theme since that's something we'd see on every page...
So yeah, thank goodness there isn't a site theme I've always wanted to have. 'Cause with my luck at these random draws, I definitely wouldn't get it, haha. Though even if there were a theme I wanted and we got to choose, I don't know if I'd even use it since I love the TFR and Treasure Keepers ones best (and the Altador one after those).
Of the perks I can actually afford (I have ~3.6k), I'll wait for Spiked! and...maybe get the inventory one if it's permanent? I usually don't have a problem with full inventories though.
Some of the 5k+ ones seem kinda fun to get. 😱

As for what I chose from the shops...
Bring Back the Old Days:
Got Atlas of the Ancients and The Faerie Ruins
(Not the hugest fan of Atlas of the Ancients, but I am loving the faerie ruins site theme and I'm currently using it.)
In a New Avatar:
Got Rurro
(Not the coolest avatar, but I'm not big on avatar collecting, so I'm okay with it.)
Random Acts:
First day, got 10,000 neopoints.
(This sounded like it'd be fun, so I'm rolling with this. :3)
Glam Up:
Still have yet to receive the NC, but I knew that would take some time to get to me. I'm not in a rush.
I'm also going to get Spiked! when that becomes available, so I'll share what I get from that when I get it. |

The FAQ for Charity Corner has a sub-folder for the prize shop that includes a list of all the avatars you can get. A bunch of them are clickables, so make sure you already have all the easy to obtain ones for a better chance of getting a good one. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are all of those avatars clickables for the most part? I think the only one I'd gain is the you get one or the other Korbat clickable...
I'm missing two of the listed site themes so that'll probably be my goal.

My pull from the Site Theme perk was Atlas of the Ancients and Tale of Woe which are two of my favorites so I ain't even mad haha |

The Site Themes perk only gave me AotA, so I'm guessing that's the only one on the list I didn't have, somehow? xD;
EDIT: Okay, it mentions only one in the pop-up but gives you two. Took me a while to figure out the head-scratchish order of the list but it looks like I got the Petpet Protection League one too (dangit, was hoping for CoM).
Also took the avatar one and got... Emo Usuki. Which I was practically certain I already had but I must have accidentally hit my shop front sometime during this event. =_=
As for the color-related perks, I'm quite tempted to use one to finally get a Robot Krawk, but now that I'm confronted with the option, an MSP Poogle also seems like it could be interesting... Or maybe an Ice Bori if it's available from it, seeing as that one is only available from that old toolbar promotion otherwise? |
