Lifting the hatch slightly, AK slides up until he can see out. Sammy was locked in a closet, with two n00bs on either side guarding it packing n00b rays. AK knew his immunity to n00b rays was on and off, so he didn't want to take chances. Rustling through his pack, he pulled out another Improved Fire Bomb, and his wand. He held the bomb with a finger in the pin. "Pellucidia Tralucentus," he whispered, and the bomb vanished. Pulling out the pin, he rolled it right towards the guards. Ducking down, he covered his ears. He knew they'd have to fight their way out of the passage and the Shop Ads board would be a nightmare, but if everyone stayed invisible as long as they could, they might just make it.

The Pikechu-human jumped behind Chris and helped him up quickly. "Shush, or they'll hear you."
Sammy's ears perked up. Wow, that was loud, she thought. Someone must be outside. Sounded like Ray. Or maybe Danny, I can't tell those too apart. It's probablt Ray, though.

Explosions. A cacophony of noise erupted into the boards. Chaos ensued. AK, however, whirled around and watched the tunnel collapse behind the others. He gulped. "Okay, change of plans. After we grab Sammy we blast our way out through the BD board and the Virtupets board. Shouldn't be too hard since the Virtupets board hates n00bs and the BD board isn't TOO far gone." He raced out and grabbed Sammy by the wrist, stumbing over the ruined door and the fallen guards. Turning around and throwing all vestiges of caution to the wind, he whipped out a dozen hand grenades. Pulling all the pins at once, he threw eleven randomly and threw the last at the guards at the door to the BD board. As the grenades went off, he motioned for the others to follow, as he dragged a dazed Sammy towards the door.

Sammy was very dazed. She didn't reliazed she was being dragged until she came to her senses. She heard a thunderbolt and looked up. "RAY!" she yelled. The pikachu-boy looked down at Sammy. "Ah, Sammy. So good to see-"
"Stp." A girl stepped out right in front of Ak and Ray and Sammy, blocking their path. "Da ka-wen wnts ta speeck wit u 3." Sammy looked up. "Johanna, what are you doing? Ray, is she-" Ray looked horror-strucken. "RAY! Don't tell me she was zapped!" Ray nodded weakly. The N00b Queen came up behind Johanna. "yesh, i do wnt ta speeck wit u al. espexcially ak17 and sammymew. johannagirl, captre dem." Johanna raised a gun and shot a net at the three. Ray, AK, and Sammy were trapped.

"I didn't want to be here," AK grumbled. "I wanted to be buying my pet's presents. I wanted to beat The NTAG Files. I wanted my Regulation Meridell Crossbow. But noooo. I had to get involved, and now look where it's gotten me. Tied up in a net in the one of the most n00b-ridden boards eva. AND WE WERE SO CLOSE T-" Without warning, one of the n00b guards fired his gun, splintering AK's wand into a million bits. "STFU 0r I'11 5h007 73h gurl5 n3x7. G07 i7?" he said. AK was too stunned to speak. The hand holding the last two inches of splintered wood from the twelve-inch wand dropped limply, brushing the sheath of AK's katana. A n00b had scrawled "ADORBLGND" on it, but no one knows what that means even today. Silently, the letters began to shift, moving a little with each jolt.

"johannagurl, bringed dese anoyin brattz to mah thron." Johanna nodded and pulled the three (still in the net) up to the top of the tower. The queen was sitting on her throne and smiling. "Ah, how nic it iz ta c u, ak17. u 2, sammymew. i hav a jobe 4 bothe of u. ak17, in 1 our, u will becom da King of Da N00bs. sammymew, in 1 our, u will becom da princess, so if i fale to my dooty, u will becom da neckst kaween..." Sammy wasn't listening though. She was playing with her mew tail so it would slip through the net and slap some sense into her best friend.

AK was thrown roughly onto the stained red carpet, right in front of the N00b Queen's throne. Coming back to his senses, the first thing he could see was the sheath of his katana. His eyes widened upon seeing the letters now engraved there. Then he looked up. The cold, illiterate eyes of the N00b Queen stared down at him. "50 0(_)|2 |-|05p174|_17`/ |)1|) |\|07 ( |-|4|\|63 `/0(_)|2 |\/|1|\||)?" The Mad Golfer got up and flicked her off, to the astonishment of the crowd. "Geez, have you got dung for brains? I would never become king of the n00bs even if I would die otherwise. And, I'd like to ask, why in all green hell did you choose me to be the n00b king? There's over one and a half million other guys on Neopets who are far more n00by than I am. And forgive me if I'm wrong, but aren't I the guy who's been responsible for icing over twenty n00bs, scammers, and sickos over the past year? Hardly prime qualities for a king of the n00bs." The queen's eyes blazed with fire. "1|= `/0(_) \/\/1|_|_ |\|07 _|01|\| (_)5, `/0(_) |)13!" A familiar, sickly green ray hit AK in the small of the back- only this time, it kept coming. The Queen wasn't using the ray to snap him now- she was using it to destroy him. The pain was immense, rocking AK's nervous system, psyche, and morale. He felt like he was watching one of these seizure-inducing flashing sequences sometimes shown in cartoons. Suddenly, AK jumped up. The pain was intense, but not intense enough to destroy him or blur his mind. He brought his hand down to his katana and whipped it out with lightning speed. The last thing the N00b Queen ever saw was the word now engraved on the sheath- GOLDBRAND.

A bright blue glow ran down the blade, and it seemed to throb with power. As he landed, he slashed once! twice! thrice! The golden blade exploded and splinters showered the crowd. AK managed to grab one eleven-inch long, millimeter-wide shard (from the center of the blade) before it plowed through his head. For one second nothing happened. Then there was a blinding ice-blue flash, and the N00b Queen vanished. Pressing a button on a remote, AK whirled 180 degrees and threw the Sand Wedge at the ray. As it flew, a spike popped from the end of the handle. The Wedge buried itself deeply in the ray, which blew up, and was flung back to AK entirely unharmed. "NO ONE MOVE!" He shouted. The whole crowd looked up. AK-17 was holding a Holy Hand Grenade with the pin out and his thumb over the hole. AK's thumb was all that was keeping that grenade from blowing the NeoBoards sky-high.
(Mwa. ^_^ If that could be considered god-moding in any way, I apologize. I typed this thing last night, which is why it's split into two pages- I spent a lot of time on it. But I had to make it general, because I didn't know what would be posted, so that was hard too.)
(...Hey, Sammy, is it just me, or are you, me, and Chris the only ones left?)

Sammy's smiled but hesitated. If anybody made a sudden movement, everybody would be dead. Including her and her friends. Over AK's shoulder, however, Johanna was very angry. She took a deep breath in and blew onto the grenade, however, the breath was fire, being part Charizard. The grenade was burned to a crisp, and then Johanna lifted her wings. Sammy had seen that move before. It was Johanna Seismic Throw, and she was planning on using it on AK. At least, that's what Sammy thought. Johanna dove down and picked up Sammy instead of AK and flew into the sky. "Dont mov or i drope sammymew." "What's so bad about that?" Ray called out. "Trust me Ray, you don't want to know," Sammy yelled back with sympathy in her voice.

"Aw, futz," AK groaned. "This is turning into a real standoff. I know that move. I've seen it too many times not to." His mind raced furiously, and then an idea hit. "Well, Johanna," he said. All heads in the room turned towards him. He whipped out TWO grenades this time. "I'm serious, Johanna. You don't know how many of these I have. You hurt Sammy, I hurt the entire area. I know you know what these can do." A smirk spread across his face. "And don't think of crisping these. The fuses are wrapped around them and those fuses run fast as lightning. Two seconds after the fuse lights, the grenade goes off." He chuckled a little. "And nobody even DREAM of killing me. If I die, the grenades drop." He laughed. An insane demolitions expert is a very dangerous person indeed. The n00b crowd below looked on the verge of extreme panic. What had just happened? In the span of three minutes, the prisoner was loose, the Queen was frozen, and now some powder-packing lunatic was actually threatening to kill them all, and he could do it, too. The guards were baffled. They wondered whether they should shoot or panic. The next move very well might decide the fate of Neopia Central.

"No wonder you were killed by Fangirls," Ray mumbled under his breath. Sammy tried whip her best friend-turned-n00b with her Mew tail, but it was no use. Johanna didn't even flinch. "Drastic times call for drastic measures," Sammy mumbled. "SUICIDE!" she then yelled, whipped Johanna's ankles as hard as she could. The Charizard girl flinched and dropped Sammy, and Sammy fell from around 100 feet in the air, hurtling to the tower's top. Ray's eyes went wide, but he couldn't do anything. He was just a Pikachu.

AK flung the grenades aside (they were plastic mock-ups. HA!) and began digging through his backpack, accidentally sending 173 pounds of explosives onto the crowd below*. He finally gave up and resorted to Plan B.
Lighting the fuse on a pack of TNT, he smashed a hole in the floor of the tower with the Sand Wedge's handle and threw the TNT in, down the hollow structure, straight to the bottom. In the same motion, he rebounded the Wedge and smashed a hole in the roof with the head. Climbing up, he dived into one of the pockets and pulled out what he wanted- a psywave-pulse generator. If this thing worked this time, it would save Sammy from certain death. He slashed the flagpole off with the foot-long section of sword still attached to the hilt, set the generator where it had been, flipped the switch, covered his ears, and screwed his eyes tightly shut, as he dropped back down the hole.
*= My backpack is the most advanced piece of technology I've ever built. The pockets contain antimatter warps, which connect to storage bins deep under NTAG. In other words, when I reach for a piece of dynamite, I reach straight into one of the Dynamite Storage Bins, which contain 200,000,000 sticks each and are restocked yearly. And that's why 173 pounds of explosives can fit in a backpack that still weighs only 11 pounds. (It has some stuff in it, too, ya know. Not all pockets have warps.) I know I got a little long-winded there, sorry.

Sammy smiled. "Tricks can be decieving!" Just before she hit the ground, Sammy stopped and levitated. "Do you ever watch Pokemon? Mews can levitate!" Ray slapped his forehead, but he knew Sammy had a plan. At first, Johanna was smiling that Sammy was falling, but then her real self kicked back in. Johanna was terrified and dove down after Sammy. Unfortuantly, since Sammy had stopped so quickly, Johanna had slammed into the ground.

"'Course I watch the show." AK replied, slamming Sammy to the roof as the n00b guards fired and N00b Rays sizzled overhead. "Let's go. FAST." Firing up his jetpack, he stuffed the psywave generator into his back and pulled out a stun grenade. Yanking the pin, he hurled it among the guards. Scooping up Johanna, he headed for the door to the BD board at high speed. Just as he and Sammy were out of range, the N00b Queen's tower exploded in a shower of splinters and an incredible ball of flame.

The wierdos in the BD Board were planning the attack movements for another "war" against the Avvy/Neosig Board when the door to the Help Chat exploded inward. Knowing the nature of the BD boarders, AK grabbed Sammy's wrist and soared in a sharp turn off to the right, obscured by the cloud of dust. The BDers panicked and began firing gigantic volleys from super-powerful weapons- just as the n00b guards burst into the room. Wincing at the carnage, AK motioned for the others to follow him, and began slinking towards the door to the Virtupets Board. They'd be safe there- for a while-, since the Vpets boarders hate the fact that their board was made public, and at the n00bs who invaded it as a result. No n00b could find a haven there.
