Inktober Day 25: Tasty I feel like I don't need to explain the concept too much here. The sushi turned out pretty good, actually. I'm surprised.

Inktober Day 26: Dark I shaded again today. This time, I feel like it was more successful. I attempted a fuzzy sort of feeling with the darkness using Q-tips, which was less successful. My black sharpie is starting to die and I feel like that didn't help. Ideally, the rest of the negative space would be black.

Inktober Day 28: Ride A witch riding a broomstick was clearly the way to go, was it not? Besides, I need to draw Apin more often.

Only six more to go!! (Says me, I'm still behind.) You guys only have two more days!! \ o / \ o / Go go!! Day 22 - Ghost Lenore the Lady Ghost from Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Invite-Only Casual Dinner Party/Gala For Friends Potluck! Ready for a Halloween party, I think? In any case, she has a pumpkin, a martini, and the classiest ghost costume. (I had a trend during Pokecember to draw one thing each time vaguely inspired by Shipwrecked Comedy, so I thought I'd carry the tradition over.) Day 23 - Ancient Jorgen from Hilda, guarding the Earth and still finding beauty in the stars. <3 Originally I'd been planning to do some crosshatching to darken the sky in bands (like they do in the show), but I kind of liked the simplicity of it and decided to leave it alone. Day 24 - Dizzy *frames air with hands in a grand motion* I call it: "Dizzy: A Sloppy Exploration into Overdramatizing the Properties of Artistic Aaaugh in the Month of October." =O Day 25 - Tasty "Let's draw our bowl of fruit," I said. "Bowls of fruit are a classic," I said. "It should be pretty quick and simple," I said. .... Glass bowls. 8D; ((One apple is wrapped in a paper towel, if it's hard to tell.))

Congrats to all inktoberers this year =D I've always liked the air of doing art together that it brings along. On my part, I've been chugging away at my totally-not-going-to-be-ambitious-nosiree comic over on my art thread, and now that this one's coming to a close, it feels prudent to crosspost it here at least a little, to leave my mark on this year's Inktober as it were. Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4I think I'm about halfway done at this point, so I'll probably just latch onto the general spirit of NaNo to keep on doing it throughout November. It'll stay on the art thread anyway.
