Meanwhile, though, I wasn't planning on doing much with the official Inktober prompts themselves, but then I woke up this morning to the facebooks reminding me who has a birthday today and spent the entire last year drawing birthday art for others, SO: Day 5 - Swim (based on the Neopets prompt list, because the official one wasn't sparking anything in my brain) Happy birthday, Ginz ❤ =D  Brought to you by my inability to keep a drawing about literal hearts-with-eyes simple, a lot of Google references, and Fraze's Pokemon Go because I haven't caught a Luvdisc yet. ahhhhhhh HUNTY!!! Inktober Day 5 - Bushy Tree  My across the street neighbor's tree. Still need to work on leaf clumps. I'll just keep trying different ways until I'm happy with it. |

Day 3 - Bait  I haven't been super active on Neopets recently, but my characters are always present in my mind. ^^ I think I've only fully drawn Kelehi fishing once before, and that event was *cough* sort of a Disaster for her, so I thought it'd be nice to draw her having a nice, quiet time fishing for once. (I had planned to do some nice line shading or something, especially on the stalactites, but I spent way too long just trying to get the composition and positioning right that I decided to leave it alone. Maybe it'll be nice to color digitally someday. (Also, I'd forgotten how hard it is to draw Kelehi simply sitting down. XD Really gotta work on my non-humanoid legs, augh.)) Day 4 - “Freeze!”  Not canon. Probably. Madge would try not to be that obvious and cliche. XP I think my Permapaque marker's going to dry up before the end of the month if I keep spamming it in big, black swaths. XD |

Inktober Day 6: Husky  Dog I was debating whether or not I wanted to draw a husky as in dog or husky as in body build, but I decided on dog. I never really draw dogs, anyway, so I went with dog. |

It's a *~*messy study intermission!*~* *flings half-drawn confetti* Day 5 - Build  I skipped Day 5 the day of so I could get more RL stuff done, and I wasn't really excited about any of the illustrative ideas I had for "build," either. So last night I just put on a half-hour podcast ep as my timer and did a messy study of a stack of cookbooks in my house. I felt weird writing the titles of the cookbooks, so you get vague chicken scratches instead.Day 6 - Husky XD Really gotta work on my non-humanoid legs, augh. Yeah, I walked right into that one, didn't I. XD  So after the Build one, I did another timed-by-podcast-duration study. I used search images (hopefully I don't need to cite each one?). And I did them in pencil. Shame on me. |

I haven't been keeping up with Inktober as regularly as others, and a couple days I've skipped, but I've got a handful of sketches at least, plus the one for tomorrow is almost done. BaitFreezeHuskyI, uh, I tried on this one, but I never finished it lol. Maybe I can change that soon enough, considering the most I need to complete now is the easier part- the humans. Frail |
