Thanks for the mega spoiler secret list Duke Pikachu . Now I know when to brace myself, but there's also a lot of my favourites. Day 5 -
Huh, how did I ever get my high score past 8000? Ah, maybe the same way I scored 9000 today. Got into the ~groove~ of the game. Prioritised the lowest possible moves. Sutek's Tomb! It's one of those games where you match the tile thingies to make them disappear, except it's better than those other games where you match the tile thingies to make them disappear, because you get and the relaxing ~whooshy ~sound ~effects, and unlimited hint codes! It can also be PAUSED. I love Sutek's Tomb. (With the minor damper that the tiles are in super saturated colours and a bit hard to distinguish against that also rather bright background.) Let's get this pyramibread. Day 4 - aw, Snowball Fight is a sweet little game, I think the first I ever played as a wee nooblet. It's not that tough,
because not only is there no timer, the difficulty level only increases with your score. Meaning that if you're about to run out of snowballs, you can just pause and wait for Dieter to swing by. You can ignore the target-pets popping up while you wait, because they won't get faster until your score increases, and more will keep coming. And it might be hard to catch their faces, but you still get half points from hitting them anywhere. When everything starts to move very fast, my trick is to stop moving my own cursor around, all I have to do is wait for a target to move past me. The only thing that one needs to learn to keep playing this game is how to hit Dieter through the perspective. Day 3 could have been super annoying without the wheelie method. Makes the game seem a bit pointless, but I won't complain. Day 2 I'm just glad to be rid of - it takes me so long to get used to the type of controls where up doesn't really make you go up. Like Chariot Chase, but worse, because you start upside down, and the carts are hard to tell apart. :'D Day 1 was fine, but only because I used the proper music! It was a terrible mistake to drop this music when they made DoM2 into DoM3. *shakes head*

Day 5 Sutek's Tomb PHEW! I did it! Took me a few hours, though it's as much of a game of luck as it is of skill (which you also need, have to be speedy and see those potential chains). Don't ask me how I did it, and as soon as I saw I hit 3.5k I accepted AAA's challenge and sent score. Also the codes were really useful:
plzsutekgivememoretime (plz sutek give me more time) gives you an extra 30 seconds (BTW you must type it during gameplay, it won't work if you pause the game). pyramibread (pyram i bread) shows you a move you can do. REALLY useful for those times you probably only have one move you can do but you don't see it.

Well, after three tries, I just decided to go with Abigale's score, since I've already lost the gold trophy. BUT in my second attempt, even though it wasn't quite high enough for AAA and I was going to try one more time before selecting Abby, I sent my score, because it was a high score for me. and... I GOT THE AVATAR! I had no idea what the score even was.

Yesterday's day was GARBAGE. Took me till the day AFTER to beat AAA, without boxing gloves. Well the good news is that completing a game on release day doesn't really matter anymore, all it means is you get an extra prize (which, unless it's a book, collectible, or good BD equipment, you'll easily be able to buy from the SW for a few thousands or even hundreds). What matters for the end prizes for the last few years was gold is beating just AAA, silver for at least one AAA, bronze for just completing DD, and participant if you didn't do all the challenges. And obviously you want gold as it always gives out the collectible charm. DAY 6: Ultimate Bullseye 2: Ugh, can I rant?
Before I begin, no, it's technically not hard. I was able to do it within an hour and the code "catapult" that gives you an extra power-up really helps (also being able to get a score with the King Hagan balloon which was how I was able to do it).
However I getting to over 70 points was not from skill but mostly dumb luck. Sure, I wanted to hit both the Hagan balloon and get a bullseye because that gives you a major point boost... but I didn't adjust the arrow and applied the right amount of power to do it. No, I adjusted the arrow to what looked to maybe be what the right trajectory was and used my gut to decide how much power I should apply. Everything else was luck, and I have this feeling that if I was able to replicate the same scenario a few times I would probably miss in some of them because I'm not sure if the game is consistent with its own rules.
And this is a STARK contrast to the original Ultimate Bullseye. The original UB was one of my favorite games. In it you actually used skill with consistent rules and if you were good were able to get a perfect game a few times. But I guess maybe it was too good because for some baffling reason TNT then released this monstrosity of a sequel. Sure, it has prettier art, but they changed it from a straight 2D game to this faux 3D/2.5D game. A UB2 should have just been the original 2D gameplay but with prettier art, more power-ups, and maybe some additional game modes to spice it up (you know, like what they did with Meerca Chase and Destruct-o-Match). BUT NOPE! They for some reason decided UB needed this completely different arrow arcing system that has completely ruined the game. *Let's our a heavy sigh*
Good luck with today. JN's guide gives you hints (remember if you get a bullseye on the last turn you get three extra turns) and there's videos on Youtube you can watch if you think it'll help.

UB took me just three tries, somehow. Still rank it more doable than Sutek's Tomb, a game that needs to be burned within the flames of a thousand and one suns!

I saw on the boards that people were just dreading over Sutek's Tomb
Meanwhile, when I play it for fun, I regularly get over 3500 points. So yeah, that was easy for me.
Ultimate Bullseye II, though, is a very different story. I got the score after I got lucky with power ups and balloons, but that

I think I forgot just how terrible UBII is. Ugh. Abigail for me, once again. Not even going to attempt to go for 70. Just not worth it. And I totally just sent my score before selecting Abigail. Oh well.

Day 7:Shenkuu Tangram:Here are the solutions. Do them as quickly as possible. The time you took to read the above sentence should be about the same length of time it takes you to complete one of the puzzles. Also, I say do them quickly, but that's just more to save you time. From finishing bonus alone you'll get the score needed, so why waste anymore time then you need?

*finally got around to catching up with DD, started hammering through all games in sequence, which considering the insane level of a lot of those games might be poor foresight* I should write some sort of a fancy treatise on the topic of impact of Neopian inflation on gaming skills, because back when games were the primary source of income one patiently honed 1000-NP-score-send at a time, I was actually good at them. Now that Trudy's Surprise spins you thousands per day, I hardly ever play other than for these challenges, and then I'm painfully forced to conclude that I can't beat AAA's score for Sutek's Tomb when my highscore is a whopping 45,655. EDIT: tried again, fired up 5900 points. Nerrmind, I just had to warm up :'D I realize that this is several days late but here's how you do Sutek's Tomb in case someone's still struggling: - You play from the bottom up. Really, I only play on the bottom three rows most of the time, and let the upper rows fall and make combos along the way, using that time to scout the next combo. Once all moves are exhausted on those three rows, you move upwards. This way you also won't have one sneaky missed combo hiding in a corner that you'll lose time trying to chase all over the board. - When you can't spot combos, focus on each color at a time. - Performance anxiety will end you. I've sometimes slid the entire right half of the window offscreen so that I can't see the timer because once you even glance at that merciless hourglass, you slip out of the zone and then you ded.

Today's game is easy peasy for me! (Anybody need an AAA partner? Hmu.) Update- went through the Neoboards instead. Day 9 - Wingoball - I don't know what to tell you, I've memorised all the levels and remember them even if I don't play for years. ;u; Same for Shenkuu Tangram, and other games where the levels never change. So safe. So secure. Wingoball level guide here thanks Jellyneo
