After a long delay, it's here y'all. AAA and Abigail are be hosting it at the Virtupets Space Station this year. Lulu has snuck her way into the bowels of the station and Abigail is worried about her, but AAA is being his normal self and is more concerned about putting on a good event. First game of the event: Destruct-o-Match III. AAA's Score is 1500 and Abigail's Score is 500. The score is much lower than the avatar score, so I'd say you don't need to be as concerned about clearing the early levels completely. Unless you have a timed block, there is no timer so you can take the time to map out your moves. My biggest tip is to pick the color that has the most blocks on the board and clear all the other colors. That way you can link a bunch of blocks of one color together and rack up serious points (for large combos, you get bonus points - i.e. a 20-block combo is worth 40 points). When you have a triple blocks, obviously leave as many of that color as you can and either build the combo with the board you're given, or use a shuffle powerup to hopefully put the triple combo in the middle of a large grouping of same-color blocks. Triple blocks follow the same combo rules as regular blocks, so a triple block combo of 20 blocks (for instance) would be worth 120 points! Prizes are as follows: AAA's: A weapon, although I don't know what it does yet. There aren't any testing boards that I've seen. I'd wait until we know for sure because it may be one-use. I like the artwork, though - really reminds me of the old retro Battledome art. Abigails: A pretty cute plushie, if you aren't concerned with the weapon being good or with getting gold. Day of: I swear we already had an item like this. I mean it's not bad, but it's giving me massive deja vu. Can anyone confirm?

For the Day of Release Prize, it's probably because it's similar to the Snowmuncher Ice Block Foreground, hence the deja vu.

Oh, starting off with the fun games, I see... =_=
I went with Abigail. I knew that if I really sat down and put in the effort, I probably could have gotten AAA's score. But Destruct-O-Match is so dang boring that I'd probably fall asleep before I'd get 1500.

Another DD means possibly more NT procrastinating nd game-related frustrations. Plus, I MAY have had a random/psychic hunch DoM was going to be the first game.

I was awake when it reached midnight NST and when the game challenge went up. It was a bit bugged at first. It was fixed, obviously, but I did get a screenshot of what was posted first. (I thought it was funny and worth sharing.) Abigail is the true game master, clearly. Anyway, it took me some time (that stupid Grarrl had it out for me, I swear), but I did manage to beat AAA's score. So far, I'm 2/2 with AAA's scores. I even got a partner for today's challenge, so that was nice.

Oh shoot, I just realized today's a Team Challenge. Does anyone here need an Abigail partner?

Yeah, it may be a Double Dare, but there's no way I'm able to beat AAA's score in Wheeler's Wild Ride.

Yeah, it may be a Double Dare, but there's no way I'm able to beat AAA's score in Wheeler's Wild Ride. Yeah, that's a HUGE different between AAA and Abigail's score. I mean, I know there's supposted to be a significant difference between the two scores, but it seems like normally AAA's score is double or triple Abigail's score. MAYBE 4 times. But... over 10 times?? That seems a bit... unreasonable.
Editied to add: This is going purely from memory and the first two games this year. Maybe 8 to 10 times the score is fairly normal, but it just seems a bit (understatement) disproportionate!

For anyone who wants to try beating AAA today, this is the strategy I used: On level 1-2 near the very start there is a slightly uphill bumpy patch. What you want to do is wedge your bike's front wheel between the topmost two lumps (I've found the lower lumps cause you to lose more coconuts when you fall).
Then, start tapping the right arrow key slightly to do a wheelie. Keep tapping to hold the wheelie for several seconds and repeat every time your back wheel lands. Around 5s remaining, hold the right arrow key to gently tip over and hopefully only lose one coconut. Rinse and repeat until you're over 800.
Once you have the strategy down, it's just a matter of going through enough cycles. You'll get the hang of the tapping rhythm pretty quickly, and I like this spot since it's very early in both the game and its respective level so you can practice easily.
If it helps, play with the sound effects on so that you can hear the clock. It will start making an audible ticking sound at 10s remaining, which is useful if you are focused on watching Wheeler.

Ugh, Wheeler's Wild Ride today. As a quick reminder tip, if you're ever having a problem with a game looking up a video of someone playing it can be helpful: Just beating AAA: Yup, you don't even need to leave the first level to get to 800. Just be sure to crash yourself before the timer runs out because if you crash you just lose 1 coconut BUT if time runs out you lose almost all of your coconuts. Since you start out with 20 coconuts you'll need to get at least 40 points each attempt which isn't hard to do once you get the timing to do the trick down. But if you're still having problems you can follow what people do to get high scores: A later level has a better "grinding" spot, and by the time you get there you should have plenty of coconuts to do as many tries as needed (as long as you crash yourself before time runs out). 2nd Level's Grinding Spot:I personally also found a good grinding spot in the 2nd level, you can see it in the above video at 0:19. You see that third deeper bump that Wheeler's back wheel goes into? Well if you stick your front wheel into that ditch it'll let you do the stand tricks easier and easily crash yourself. So if you're having a problem with doing the first video's strategy but don't want to go as far as the second video, my trick may be the trick for you. EDIT: D'oh! Looks like Jae beat me to my grinding spot tip, lol! Otherwise my Daily Dare challenges have been alright so far. Destruct-O-Match III was a piece of cake, pretty much focus on making big combos and you'll get to 1,500 no problem. Ugga Smash I had to read JN's guide for. Pretty much the first two levels is where you'll get all the points, try to catch someone against a wall and keep ramming into them to rack up the points (corners are dangerous as you could get trapped). Finally, someone on the Neoboards looked through the page source and find the entire game schedule. SPOILERS AHEAD! Last chance to turn back! Day 1: Destruct-O-Match III

Day 4 SNOWBALL FIGHT!Another tough game. You're given only 50 Snowballs at the start.
- The Neopets give 10 points directly/5 points in directly
- Meepits give 20 points directly/10 points indirectly
- The super rare Ollie (Phantom Orange Shirt Guy, a former TNT game programmer) gives 50 points directly/25 indirectly
- Faeries get angry when hit and TAKE AWAY 10 snowballs (jeez, have a little fun, gals).
- Dieter sometimes appears parachuting in the background, hitting it will get you 10 extra snowballs.
Doing some quick math, to get the required 450 points to beat AAA from just Neopets you need to get 45 direct hits. That doesn't leave much wiggle room (if you only get indirect hits with all 50 you'll only get to 250 points). Tips:- 1. I would suggest before going to AAA's score to try doing a few practice rounds. Get the feel of where the hit boxes are on the Neopets & Meepit (and Ollie if you're lucky). Especially practice hitting Dieter in certain wind conditions as he could be the difference between getting to 450 or not.
- 2. Speaking of Dieter, since he's in the background you have to take two things into account to hit him. For one, since your snowball arcs, you have to aim somewhere UNDER Dieter. Where and how far under him? That's where the second factor comes in: wind. The wind will flow the snowball in the direction it's going, also the more power the wind is blowing I find the distance you have to aim under him decreases. Thankfully you can hit either Dieter or his parachute so he has a longer hit box. Also, while you obviously want to hit Dieter in one try, it doesn't hurt to spend an extra or two snowballs trying to hit him since he gives 10. THOUGH WATCH OUT FOR FAERIES! If something pops up in front of you they will take the snowball hit so only aim for Dieter when its clear to do so.
- 3. BTW, the wind doesn't really affect the Neopets & Meepit (and Ollie if you're lucky) since they're close-up. However not only do they move around but I also find their hit boxes to be a bit wonky so, as I said, practice to know where to click them to get those 10/20/50 points.
- 4. As the game goes on the characters do move faster (including Dieter) and stay on screen less making them harder to hit. Also I feel the Meepit starts appearing less and less so don't think you'll just wait and only throw when the Meepit appears, looks like TNT thought of that. If anything you'll probably get the bulk of your points early on as it's easier to hit them directly when they're moving slowly and stay longer.
- 5. There's no time limit so take it easy. When a Neopet or Meepit (or Ollie if you're lucky) pops up don't immediately throw a snowball, take a few microseconds to aim. Also if a Neopet/Meepit/Ollie appears on the other side of the screen it may be best to ignore them to focus on what may pop up where you are. That said you may want to stay closer to the middle of the screen then.
Code:Once per game and when you have below 40 snowballs (aka you have 4 or less snowballs in your snowball counters) type snowghettiandmeatball ("snowghetti and meatballs" but without the spaces) for 10 extra snowballs! Don't feel a video would help that much, but if you want one JN has posted two on their Game Guide!

At higher levels, if there are no faeries, they can and will pop up in front of you after you throw the snowball.
