I mean, I prolly still don't have a shot at All-Star even with enthusiastic toddler involvement, but I've leveled to Rank 1 this year, which hasn't happened since AC III, and if I manage to claw my way up to Level 6, I'll have beaten my all-time record xD Oh, I wouldn't bet against that yet. From my experience with my younger cousins when they were that age and other stories I heard here and there, if he likes watching you play the game that much he will probably make you play it. If that becomes the case, you may dread have teached him to say "yooyu" because, as you're about to do something else you want to do, a little voice from behind you will say "yooyu". Even if he loses interest and does something else or wanders off, if you try to do the same you'll here a "yooyu" following behind you. And you will play Yooyuball, because he wants you too... no matter how much you don't want to. Have fun!  Truth xD I just figured that even if that happens, at the very least I'll get prize shop goodness out of it and it's still a better way to spend my time than watching TLC all day long. (arguably everything is a better way to spend time than watching TLC, but have a kid and then judge me why dontcha >__>) Ian Wolf-Park , the ranking table shows Shenkuu at 13th place for me? Unless I'm looking at the wrong stats, this whole system is impossible for me to follow. |

Oh yeah, I completely forgot last year they made it so you couldn't Rank up or earn points on bye days. Now last year I think that was alright as the Bye Days happened on one of the weekdays, great to the majority who work.
BUT this year it falls on a Sunday, one of the weekends aka a day everyone is usually home and have plenty of free time and may have planned to use this day as a sort of "catch-up". But now they have a completely free day from both work and playing while during every working weekday they'll have to consider how much of their small free time should they spend playing AC. *HEAVY SIGH*
Only solution I can think of is making it so the next few days are Bye Days thus pushing the normal Bye Days to the middle of the week.

I'm technically a newbie as far as the modern-day AC is concerned; is there a reason behind bye days? I saw that the boards reasoned the game caps with the fact that Neo is nominally a kids' site and limiting a whole lot of grinding would therefore be the responsible thing to do, so bye days might fall under the same logic. Although even so it feels like a weird whole-lotta-nothing to suddenly pull on the playerbase in the middle of things. In real-life sports, this is where you'd at least expect Superbowl ads and other such fluff.
If it was me, I'd stick break days on Monday, after people have likely used weekends to catch up and grind a lot, but I don't run the site and don't do coding, so that's a moot point xD

The bye days used to be the days between bracket rounds. As for the timing, the code they used for the scheduling of this Cup is literally the exact same as last year's, just with everything bumped back three days to accommodate the delay. Last year's bye days were on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 22nd, so this year's are the 10th, 17th, 24th, and 25th. All of them are weekend days. |

Is it just me or do a number of games result in the Bouncing Hasee "Success Pending" when trying to submit? I am ending up with a significant number of wasted games (and playing time) this way.

So... I had a quite successful staff tournament this week. 4 of my 5 players were the top. The only one I missed was goalie, where I chose the second best. AND I chose Scrappy as star player. o.O
