Turns out we've got a new set of avatars this year, one for each team--I got mine when I reached rank one but it seems a little inconsistent exactly when you get it, might be for goals scored or something? In any case they're reused chat icons from the freebies page, but it's still a cool little addition. The avatars are titled by year, so presumably you can only get one out of the set and next year there'll be new ones, but that remains to be seen.

As for me, I'm team Darigan, as usual. I'm also a little more motivated to grind this year because I've got a specific NP goal I'm working toward, and that means prize shop stamp investments. ...Yeah I'm expecting to watch a LOT of TV this month.

Okay, I made it to rank 1. No way I'm getting All Star this year, I'm already losing motivation. Oh well. :3

One thing I would like to see added is the ability to choose which player gets moved when choosing to play with a non-default formation. I'm with team Virtupets and I want to play with a 3+1 formation but their default formation is 2+2. I want Sela Pretore to be the improvised forward but the game keeps moving Weldar Xupenfarb. It'd be really nice if we could choose who will be the improvised forward or defender when picking a non-default formation.

Ooh, I love that they released AC team avvies! I'll definitely be using it on the FLUFF boards~ I really hope it's not for goals scored though, since I'm AWFUL at YYB...Rank one makes sense, but yeah, I think I did see some people complain that they hadn't received theirs even after reaching it. 

And I would *hope* that you can only get one out of the set and it'll be a new one next year, as I'd hate for people to feel they need to keep changing teams in order to get each avatar. (That would also take wayyyy too many years to do, lol.) 

Eek, I'm excited to start playing and obtain my avvie so I can use it on the boardssss...but I won't be gettting home until later on, sigh.

I maxed everything but SlSl today, and then played just enough SlSl to push me over to rank 6. *drops dead*

That was... too much lol. Every year in recent memory I've just maxed ShoSho every day and called it good. I probably won't pull that stunt too many times this month for fear of RSI but it's a great start.

Though I don't know how well I can manage. My internet is running so slowly that it took 45 minutes for YYB to open, and sometimes over a minute for my game scores to send.

I didn't really intend to stay up past midnight to see the results, but I wanted to reach Rank 1 and get my avvie before the day ended. The timing just lined up. Happy I got the FL avvie! ^^

Although it seems Altador's and Faerieland's avatars stop looping after a few repetitions. And Virtupets' animation seems too fast and doesn't pause. I hope those are fixed soon.

...I really like Brightvale's though. The way Montecito just slowly glides past is so smooth! Especially with that smirk! xD *fans herself*

I really want to get the most I can out of the next few days because I'm starting a summer job on Saturday. It's a lot of physical work outside and it's probably going to kill my motivation like it did last year.

Team Roo Island here. It started when I was reading The Hunger Games series, and did "Roo Island for Rue." Then that was Droplet's team too, so I'm sticking with Roo Island. Won't be able to play much until tomorrow and then the weekend, though.

My comic is called "The Floating Islanders" so I'm contractually obliged to pick DC every year, and this year is no different.

Gonna be completely honest though, I'm not even at rank 1 yet and I can't stand the grind. Probably because I've been playing more of the other minigames to help my team's performance, but I still have no idea how people can get to all-star every year.

Wow, I just got up to rank 2 and it's only day 2, what is this sorcery?
(I know the ranking system changed, but still.)

Also, if you look past the damage that it can give your keyboard and fingers, Make Some Noise is a nice stress reliever.
