Y'know, I've unloaded about half my SDB, down from 32000ish items to 16000ish and I have an even 70k points. It runs kinda counter to the idea of the event but I think I'll save the rest. Partly because I don't want to/can't let this keep eating up my time, partly because I don't want my SDB to be completely empty if they do this the same way next year.
Tip for fast donating though, I found that tabbing between the item selection forms and just pressing the down arrow was a whole lot faster than doing it all by mouse. And even faster than that was tabbing between item selection forms and typing the first letter of the item I wanted to donate, since then I could do the keyboard work with one hand and the mouse work with the other. If the site was being agreeable I could get up to almost 60 donations per minute that way.

Ugh, the lag is REALLY annoying today. It's taking like half a minute for it to register me pressing the "Donate" button, and that's if it registers at all!

How many items do you have in your inventory? I found that I can't have more than about 400 items out or else the donation page lag got really bad. |

Though now it's registering donations as soon as I press donate, it's just when there's lag does it take a while. |

Well, I managed to hit around 24k by spending a boatload on plushies, lol. I've already spent more time on this event than I should so I'm going just donate whatever else I get in dailies and then call that good.

Finally started donating, and did most of my big r90-98 item stacks. 7,200 points exactly so far. Going to do the rest later when it isn't 4AM.

Still haven't touched my r90 plus items.

I just did the R90+ (not counting 101) and got a total of a little over 37,000.

Well this thread is making me feel pathetic. After cleaning out my SDB, closet, and storage shed (which had barely anything in it to begin with), plus dailies old prize shops, I ended up with 10,000 points. On the nose. I'm leaving it there. I like the round number.

I didn't donate any of my stockpiled r90s. These were all from dailies, battledome drops, and the stockpiled daily drops that were r101 or between r102 and 150.

I also kept some things I like, like the toy fish from the fishing vortex.
Still, 16,000 items gone, just like that. I don't think my SDB has ever been this clean.

AND Charity Corner is officially over. Perks will be coming later and we'll soon get a neomail awarding our Trophies and some item gifts. However it looks like the gifts might have been discovered: Practical Construction Handbook  Abandoned Fairground  Battered Old Couch  ... If it's true these are the gifts, I have no idea what they have anything to do with this year's Charity Corner. |
