PSA since Breakingchains mentioned not having a lot in her SDB, if anyone else needs some extra points to push themselves over the edge, remember that there are cheap fodder items from The Obelisk War , The Faeries' Ruin (oh irony) , The Altador Cup , and The Altador Cup Staff Tourney ... Among other plot prize shops I'm too lazy to link rn. Maybe look at Tale of Woe and Return of Sloth if you need an extra boost. It'll take a lot of time, sure, but I imagine that most people probably have access to 19k somewhere. Also, don't forget to do your dailies, particularly the omelette, since most omelettes give a lot of points. Just make sure you have four other items to donate with it!

I feel compelled to point out that you're viewing the Battledome-ness of this plot from your really-rather-high-end-battler perspective. When the opponents were released, the boards were full of people struggling to defeat the easiest level even with the shiny freebies; if the plot had been made at the level to give you any need to prepare then a good 95% of the playerbase would've just dropped the whole event like a hot potato xP I'll put this in a spoiler tag since this isn't the plot thread: The way JS constructed this plot I agree, players with low stat Neopets needed the weapons to be HT level to be able to participate. However the thing is JS constructed this plot badly by requiring that of players to progress in the plot. Wraith material dropped from opponents sound good on paper but when you remember the player's Neopets need to be up to battling that's where this idea falls apart. They should either have had another way to get materials like playing games or a plot puzzle, or had the unique weapon when used on the Wraith scoop up the material instead of having to defeat the opponent. This was especially egregious with Malum, players needing to resort to an oversight in order to win (who knows, maybe this is why things are delayed, they're giving low stat pets time to beat Malum via the Throw Pillow method).
For this plot, I've accepted having the weapons by HT level when used against the Wraiths is fine... but not after this plot. JS made their mistake and hopefully they learn from it, making BD portion its own thing as TNT had done in the past. And I would also like to see future Events which are BD focused. Yes, not all players would be able to competitively compete in such an event but not all events can be made to cater to everyone (not saying they shouldn't try, obviously have some low level opponents they can battle), like with Daily Dare not everyone can beat AAA or even Charity Corner where not everyone had stocked on items in a year's time. Back on topic, 19k for an assurance of something, huh? Alright, not that if affects me though it finally gives a goal for players to reach for. Hey, A GOAL! That's what's missing! There should have been like a community part of this event or a personal goal counter. Mindlessly donating with only a promise of vague "perks" isn't really that motivating (not to mention no option to auto donate your entire Inventory).

This is making me wish there were more sorting options for the SDB. If we could sort by either rarity, or by quantity, this could go a lot faster.

Huh, it appears that last year's avatar is being rereleased. With that being said, it appears to be random (I got mine after 1472 donations)

Same here. And I have no clue why, either--I don't think I've been donating every day (maybe you just need to visit the page a certain number of different days?) and at present I have 9971 points.

It seems I already had that avatar. I did get the "I taunt the Pant Devil" avatar when I had about 300 95+ rarity items in my inventory.

I'm now all in on there being a 'donate all' option after seeing how many bottled faeries I have. >.<

There is one bright side to this. It isn't the Temple of 1000 Tombs. XD

Okay, I think I'm done going through my SDB. I'll still donate my daily junk, but I'm happy with this number.
My SDB was over 12,000 total items before this. I'm now at around 4,200.

So apparently, the 19k mentioned before is a "able to purchase all" for the boons, with the avvy being about relatively inexpensive. I suppose that makes a lot more sense than the 19k for the best boon.
If that's the case and I get all of the boons.... I guess that means I wouldn't have to do it the next time, lol.
