I wonder if that means now is a good time to sell my brown codestones, since I don't need them anymore. If you want to maximize profit, I'd wait and see--prices haven't really spiked yet.

Just wanted to say I updated my Training Goals posts to include Cap'n Threelegs' Swashbuckling Academy and suggestions when to skip straight to the Secret Ninja Training School when the sum of the normal Codestones you need to buy may start surpassing the average cost of a Red Codestone on a consecutive basis. For convenience I'll re-post them here: NOTE: My main goal is to both save you as much NP as possible and also being as efficient as possible. TRAINING GOALS: NOTE: I've provided "wiggle room" so that if you go a bit over the recommended goal it won't cause problems (generally 5 for Levels and 10 for Strength, Defense, and Agility).
(Starting in Cap'n Threelegs' Swashbuckling Academy)
(NOTE: Cap'n Threelegs' Swashbuckling Academy actually only let you train double a Neopet's level for all stats, including Endurance. This guide has taken this difference into consideration)
1. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 15 2. Level: 15 3. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 30 4. Level: 25 5. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 50 6. Level: 35 7. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 70 8. Level: 36 9. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 72 10. Level: 37 11. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 74 12. Level: 38 13. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 76 14. Level: 39 15. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 78 16. Level: 40 17. Strength, Defense, Ability, & HP: 80
(Moving to Mystery Island Training School)
18. HP: 120 19. Level: 75 20. Strength, Defense, & Agility: 150 21. HP: 190 22. Level: 95 23. Strength, Defense, & Agility: 190 24. HP: 230 25. Level: 101
(At this point you'll need 5 Codestones to train and it's likely that the sum of the 5 normal Codestones is surpassing the price of the Red Codestone average for consecutive courses. If you want, keep on training Level to 250 so you can start training in the Secret Ninja Training School)
26. Level: 115 27. Agility: 201
(At this point you can stop training Agility. If you want to keep training in it, just keep it even with Strength & Defense)
28. Strength & Defense: 230 29. HP: 290 30. Level: 121
(At this point you'll need 6 Codestones to train and it's becoming more likely that the sum of the 6 normal Codestones is surpassing the price of the Red Codestone average for consecutive courses. Once again, if you want, keep on training Level to 250 so you can start training in the Secret Ninja Training School)
31. Level: 145 32. Strength & Defense: 290 33. HP: 390 34. Level: 151
(At this point you'll need 7 Codestones and the sum of the 6 normal Codestones is very likely surpassing the price of the Red Codestone average for consecutive courses. From this point I'm going to skip to Level 250 so you can start training in the Secret Ninja Training School)
35. Level: 250
(Moving to Secret Ninja Training School)
36. Level: 295 37. Strength & Defense: 590 38. HP: 790 39. Level: 395 40. Strength & Defense: 790 41. HP: 990 42. Level: 495 43. Strength &; Defense: 990 44. HP: 1190 45. Level: 595 46. Strength & Defense: 1190 47. HP: 1490 48. Level: 745 49. Strength & Defense: 1490 50. HP: 2235 51. Level: 750
(And now that your Neopet is a Grand Master in the Secret Ninja Training School you no longer need to worry about over training into the next course's level. If you got to this point, congrats!)

What is the purpose of training agility to 201? I thought agility was pretty much useless in the battledome. If they ever fix stealing, you need at least 200 agility to use the Heavy Robe of Thievery. Stealing is a very situational thing, though, so I'd personally recommend not touching agility until you have a need for it. You can always raise agility later. For what it's worth, my battle pet has 156 agility literally just from her starting stats + faerie quests. No need to waste NP on it at all, really.

Some interesting items have been discovered via Shop Wizard: Wraith Ectoplasm Wraith Blood Wraith Claw Wraith Fang Wraith Fur Wraith Fog
Are we making a Wraith? Also I'm not sure if Wraith have fur, unless that's just what they're calling the "skin" of the Wraith.

OH MY GOD are they introducing a crafting aspect to the game like in Skyrim, Tera Online, etc. "Ah yes, to craft a Wraith Tunic I will need 30 ectoplasms, 15 bloods, 5 claws, 10 furs, and 2 fangs..." Probably not anywhere close to what I'm guessing but this might actually be fun, provided the materials aren't -too- hard to get.

There is something called Shadow Gulch Stamp. I wonder if we would ever see this be a world on neopets. A shadow world? We already have the Haunted Woods and Neovia is pretty dark. Then Darigan Citadell which I forget is even there most of the time. Should we have another dark or shadowy place? Dr Sloth NeopediaWay way back years ago there was Dr. Sloth and apparently he was the first to find the world of Neopia and when he found it he loved it because it was dark and the air was unbreathable and stuff. So Neopia's original state was pretty much like it would be if Wraiths took over. Or maybe they want their old world back. Who knows, maybe we will see Dr. Sloth come back. Especially if he likes the new environment.

Shinko: But is it fur/hair as we know it or is it just energy in the facsimile of fur/hair? There is something called Shadow Gulch Stamp. I wonder if we would ever see this be a world on neopets. Especially if he likes the new environment. Shadow Gulch is from NeoQuest II. It's a location in the Haunted Woods I believe. Due to NQ2 taking placing in a simulation of Neopia, who knows if all the unique locations in it exist or just made to keep the crew of Rohane's ship from distracted. Though even if they were real, I'd doubt we'd see them on the site. Just a location for stories. I actually thought that maybe the Wraiths were a reference to that original Dr. Sloth story since Fyora mentions the Wraith are natural forms of Neopia chaotic energy and it's only the Faeries who keep them at bay (and thus kind of make Neopia inhabitable).

That's assuming we can keep them. If you look back at the LDP, for example, we got items like the Useless Crystal that we ultimately had to exchange to continue with the plot.

Buuuut if you look back at the Atlas of the Ancients plot, we got a whole trove of useless plot-exclusive items that even now I still have cluttering up my safety deposit box.

Doesn't change what was said. It's more of a word of caution, let's not come into a plot expecting to keep any special items given during it.
