So the Faerie Festival is due to start in five days and today we got this: www.neopets.com/faerieland/index.phtmlThis has potential to be the special thing Fyora mentioned will be happening in Faerieland that Xarthab wanted to be a part of, per the In the Sky editorial. Or it could just be some flavor text for the regular Faerie Festival. Regardless, I'd recommend paying attention to Faerieland over the next few days. |

Or is she some kind of Shenkuuvian faerie whose wings were clipped out of the image? I like her hairstyle, though. Whoever she is, I hope we get some wearables themed after her haha

I hope she's a Faerie, be interesting to see what her wings would look like being Shenkuu based (would Cherry Blossom petals be too cliche?). Though the name is odd as Faerie's don't have surnames. If that is her name Kaia would have just been fine.
Though if they reveal this is a human character, well, I'll just wait to see what JS has planned but expect a rant (if by some weird chance someone part of JS is reading this: there are no human characters in Neopia. Only exception is Tombola Man but he's allowed as he's always wearing his mask).
This combined with what was said in the dialogue makes me wonder if there's maybe going to be a "world tour" thing meaning we'll get to see several new Faeries who had adapted to a world they chose to live in. Would like to see a Krawk Island/Pirate Faerie, Moltara/Gear/Magma Faerie, Roo Island/Gamer Faerie, and Tyrannian/Wild Faerie (think Tarzan). That said, if that's what they do, they did their research and know about certain lands that already have Faeries:
Altador: Siyana
Haunted Woods: Ilere
Kreludor/Virtupets Space Station: Mira/Space Faerie
Lutari Island: Briana
Maraqua: Nereid
Meridell: Illusen
Mystery Island: Jhuidah/Cooking Pot Faerie
Neopia Central: Soup Faerie
Terror Mountain: Taelia/Snow Faerie, Kira/Negg Faerie, Zaira/Negg Faerie Assistant
Lost Desert: Nuria
Not sure if Illusen also counts for Brightvale and Darigan Citadel, though I guess they can have their own Faeries if JS want to. Only world I didn't mention was Kiko Lake as I can't really imagine what a Faerie from there would be like aside just a normal Water Faerie (maybe more colorful like the Lake's coral?).
Though this isn't to say they can't create their own unique Faeries for these worlds, just would be a shame to leave out previously existing Faeries if this is the case. I'd say Ilere, Nereid, and Nuria have a high chance of being forgotten if they don't do their research.
Heck, they already had a missed opportunity by making the Faeries that Fyora enlisted help from being a generic Light and Fire Faerie instead of at least one being Cassandia, you know, Fyora's assistant. EDIT: Another strange spoiler found: |

So... I haven't looked at the spoiler alert yet, because I think I want this to be a surprise. (My resolve may weaken, though). That being said, unless it's a "home page" tab, I forget to look for things like this. So what page should I add to my home tab(s) for the next few days?

New dialogue in Faerieland today! It talks about preparations and mentions Kaia, the faerie from the url and picture. This pretty much confirms she IS a faerie so no need to panic about any non-Tombola guy humans wandering around Neopia. xD
By the sounds of things she's a young faerie since she couldn't get a spot at a student stall, so Fyora requested to see her specifically. I'm assuming she'll be one of the main characters then which is cool. |

That or she's NC (then again that's what Delina is for unless they're going to have two NC things or skip Delina and keep her for the Faerie Quest week). Though wondering why Fyroa specifically asked about Kaia, she has to have something special for her if she singed her out.
So if she's a Faerie why isn't her wings visible. Well either he wings just are curbed upwards or she's a Water Faerie. Hmm, looking at the NT poster I'm beginning to wonder exactly what them mean by "Special Quests". Are there going to be normal Faerie Quests or will these be different, like say the Mask of Dread's quests or Charity Corner's Adopt A Neopian. |

My guess is it will be similar to the pre-Topsi Negg Festival quests. So you'd have a daily item giveaway, and periodic scavenger hunt quests on top. But we'll see.
