Decent animation, but prizes could have been better. Glasses should have been wearable, same with the toy. Or at least a BD weapon that does water. |

Am I the only one a bit taken aback by how realistic the toy looks?
Anyway, today was cute. While I was watching the animation I was hoping there would be a handheld snowball or something. I mean, we already have a fort and splat, so... |D |

As for today's prizes, definitely wasted potential, especially the shades |

Advent Calendar 2016: Day 5 (Bruce Snow Day) I think for now on if I don't have anything to say about the animation or gifts I'm not going to try and say something. Otherwise I'd either just be describing what went on in the video or what the items are. So for today I'll be skipping thoughts I have for the animation but...
GIFTS: Why aren't the glasses wearables or the gun a weapon? Oh, the gun is a toy? Well why can't Neopets play with it? As of right now both items are just SB fodder.

Okay first let me just say I LOVED IT! I really enjoyed today's animation. I think a lot of people forget part of Taelia's duties are to save pets stranded in the storm in Terror Mountain. I think sometimes we associate a Faerie with a quest and the benefits it reaps for us if we complete it. I feel like Taelia might've been in her head saying "Enough is enough." after having rescued the second pet. However, it is her act of generosity and care to extend her services to those in need by not losing her patience. Taelia is a good symbolic icon of what holiday spirit should be about. As for today's prizes. I give JS an A+. The background is so pretty with it's lightly dusted scenic mountain backdrop. I like the snowflakes falling in its animation. I could easily mistake the background with an NC item because of it's quality. This can be be paired with lots of customs because of it's versatility. The mug is just too cute to drink out of. I love the wings on each cup of Borovan  . |

I got the impression that the animation is poking fun at Taelia apparently spending 90% of her time rescuing pets stranded in a snowstorm. You'd think she'd get touchier about it since the Hannah and the Ice Caves plot incident.
*approves of that background* How often do we even get animated backgrounds that aren't NC? I thought they specifically keep the flashy animated stuff for the Mall. |

No sooner was everyone here saying all Advent Calendar prizes were SDB fodder than we get a pretty sweet BG haha. Loved the animation, too, Taelia's my second favorite faerie (behind Mira) and it's nice to see her getting some more love! |

The best thing about the background isn't just the animation. It's also not an NC item.

Huh, that is not how I envisioned Taelia's house to look XD Ah well, I can't blame her for upgrading from an igloo to a bigger house, although I think I'll keep the former in my comics X)
This one might be my favorite so far, although not surprising since Taelia is one of my favorites. I actually found it funny more than anything just how many Neopets in distress there were, to the point where it felt like this has just become her 9-5 job now XD All these darned tourists, why can't they learn how to stay on the paths...
Maybe this is why Taelia has to ask others to give her supplies; all these stray Neopets are eating through her normal rations. |

XDD Yeah I had a bit of an lolwut moment seeing Brucie B. there. Though maybe AAA has been a pompous jerk to Brucie B. in cheat games and he was in cahoots to give AAA some comeuppance. |
