I took the Snowickle to be a dreamed up or possibly real and just dreamed about escapee from the Petpet Park that befriended the Snowager at some point in time. It's young, but it got a dash of petpet growth syrup. It wants to go into town, so Snowager goes with it to keep it safe and says no to all the treasures because it doesn't want to cause trouble that could hurt its little Snowickle friend. The helmet does not properly fit most species. |

Kid, nephew, or petpet who gets dressed up so that Snowy can vicariously live through it because he himself can't wear clothes on account of being an enormous ice wyrm? You decide!
Someone needs to get the poor Snowager a scarf. No, really, I also thought it was cute xD And I'm pretty sure the Advent Calendar animations were never supposed to be canon, that would be a heck of an unnecessary constraint to put on what's essentially silly little clips thrown at us on a daily basis for some good ol' holiday cheer. |

YAY ADVENT CALENDAR! I brushed off the dust on my account to partake in the holiday celebrations. =D
I wish one of my relatives would give me a crown because I didn't get something I wanted >_>

The animation was alright. The theme or colors didn't scream holidays to me at all. However, we all know what it's like to be a teenager and see our favorite musician. I wish the drum set was a toy instead of a gift. Anyway if Moehawk plays on Christmas my pets have plans now  . I really hope the ticket wasn't just a useless gift. |

Advent Calendar 2016: Day 2 (Cheapest Concert) ANIMATION: Cute if simple. A group of Tyrannians go to see the Moehawk Christmas Concert but they're sold out, so instead they listen to the music right outside the Concert Hall (which I think in real life they try to prevent happening but I've never been to a concert so I don't know).
And let's play "what did JS get wrong this time". Today's wrongness: the 10,000 NP dollar. Neopoints are coins; they've always been shown as coins or a bag of coins. While a little quirk in the beginning, it later proved as a handy visual different from Neocash which is presented as paper money. So unless they were paying in Neocash, they should have handed the Concert teller (who's name is Skalpo, BTW) coins or a bag of coins.
But other than that I don't see anything else wrong, aside there not being an Christmas version of Moehawk Concert but that's just a thing done for the animation and won't be referenced outside it.
Also, I heard lyrics at the very end of the animation. I hope JS made that themselves and didn't use a clip of an actual band (unless they found one in the public domain).
GIFTS: Should I be surprised the Bone Drum Kit isn't categorized as instrument? I know it's an under utilized category (probably a leftover from the cancelled NeoSchools) but still it does serve a bit of a toy function with your Neopet able to play with it.
Of course my attention is more on the Moehawk Xmas Special Ticket. Being I highly doubt JS made a Moehawk Christmas concert animation, is this ticket just a gift item? Can it be used for a normal Moehawk concert (not that anyone would use it for that)? Well it's SDB fodder eitherway, or for a Gallery wherever it fits.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this I saw nothing in the news about it. Click on a fur tree in each day's animation to receive one more extra prize. Do you have to do it the day of? I went back to yesterdays and it is very quick or you miss it, but I couldn't get it to work.

Advent Calendar 2016: Day 3 (Word To The Wise) ANIMATION: I guess it was okay. Pretty much Neopets going up to King Hagan to tell him their words of wisdom, ending with it coming from a Tyrannian Lenny the other scholars don't like. An okay idea though I think the selection of the scholars could have been better. Speaking of which.
What did JS get wrong this time? Today's wrongness: Why is Rourke sitting with the other scholars? He's a salty sea captain. There's plenty of other scholarly characters you could have picked like one of The Seekers (Lambert, Sandro, Tom Cotterpin).

I thought it was a cute idea. Overdone but still cute. Shouldn't underestimate the intelligence of those Tyrannian pets, especially old ones. I was happy to see the Professor from Lost Isle Plot come back but I wish he had more to do.
Can't complain about the prizes either. There's a book and you cannot go wrong with books. |

I like today's.
For some reason, I interpreted it as the Lenny telling Hagan something in Tyrannian language, and the others laughing because they don't get it. Except Hagan understands and answers in Tyrannian, after which the Lenny tells the rude courtiers something sassy in Neopian.
Also, the book's title is making me imagine a nice little dance for Hagan to perform.

Personally I just wish Hagan had at least let one of his castle healers see to that aisha before sending them away. Poor thing looked a bit roughed up. |

Wait, wait, wait, there's a story here that they're not telling us: what happened to that Faerie Aisha?? I'm with Shinko, that little guy needs some help X)
Maybe he had this entire hero's journey, travelling between lands and facing against enemies and the odds to prove himself a true knight of King Hagan's court. That is, until he actually got there and was promptly rejected.

Yeah, I'm confused as to why they went to the extra effort of making the Aisha all beaten up...and then did nothing with it? XD I expected them to come back to it at some point but nope. Someone send the animation-script-writers a summary of Chekov's Gun
That said, I like this animation best so far. Not saying much on day three, I know, but yay Tyrannian Lennies XD |
