So, today's game. I was a little concerned at first because my high score wasn't as high as AAA's score, but it turns out I had just never actually put a serious enough effort in to get a sufficiently high score (that is, I had literally only ever played it for previous game-like challenges with more lax scores). It's not bad if you make an effort to get consecutive Petpets in consecutive baskets as they come along, otherwise towards the end you have to pull a balancing act until they loop around again. Then again, if you're good enough at balancing, time doesn't really make a difference anyways, so take as long as you want.

It took me a little while, but I finally got the score. It's actually a really relaxing game. And by relaxing, I mean I love it when I'm doing well, but when I lose a few, I start slamming my keyboard in frustrating Just so everyone knows, it seems lots of people are getting this message (myself included) on the prize page: "Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in /var/www/html/neopets/common/content/games/DD/Y18/User.php on line 409" I imagine it'll get fixed when TNT get into work today.

Might have something to do with the map. Came close to defeating my my all time best score, but fell short.

Got a 1242 (hi-score is 1353) before I was forced to end the game since I had to get ready to go somewhere.
A nice, not frustrating game, and the score was easy today.

Not a real fan of this game so I had to put in effort to get a score of over 750. Got 1001 after a couple of tries. The score to beat is easy to average (for people like me), I guess.

I have a high score of 730 on this game but I'm not sure how. I gave up and went for Abigail.

I hate this game too much to bother with AAA's score.
The petpet is super cute!

I'm glad they picked this game. (: Probably my favorite Space Station game. Forgot how the red bars worked for a little bit at the start of one level though, whoops XD

I thought Bubble Beams was bad.
I hate Mynci Beach Volleyball too.

I thought Bubble Beams was bad. I hate Mynci Beach Volleyball too. Yeah, beyond the fact that this game is hard enough by itself, it's the most freaking tedious thing ever. I don't really have the time to work on it until later in the day, but I might just settle for Abigail if the prizes are comparable, rather than sitting through a few hours trying to get through the first two and a half rounds. EDIT: dangit it's another really nice background

Sorry if I skipped yesterday, had work and was able to just play Bumble Beams before needing to leave and got back late in the afternoon that most of you probably played it already. My basic advice would have been learning how to "juggle" the Petpets on the beams (though they get faster the longer they're on a beam) and once you can do that you can get to the AAA's score. But that's yesterday, today is... Mynci Volleyball:Ugh, even at a low score of 250 that can be a challenge to get too. It's all up to whether the AI wants to be perfect or stupid. You sort of need to "psyche out" the AI by doing sort of trick shots, something it either can't react to fast enough or does the wrong action. Two strategies I do are: Close Net Shot: I go as close to the net that I can, jump to throw the ball into the air, and then jump when it comes back down to hit it over the net. Sometimes the AI either gets too close or too fast to effectively hit it back over. Charging Toss: I back as far as I can, run toward the net, and throw the ball over. Sometimes the AI mimics your action and might mess up their shot. There are other ways to mess up the AI. The AI can't effectively use power-ups like Speed-Up or Super Jump so if you can afflict one of those on it you might be able to easier score on it. Also Big Net is really helpful, AI usually has a hard time hitting it back over. Big Volley is a double-edge sword, the AI can have an easy or hard time using it. And Small Net is the worse, you can spend a lot of time hitting the ball back and forth because of it. If you get Small Net try to hit the Pawkeet as soon as possible to hopefully get rid of it. Only other hint I can give is typing "turdle" will summon a Turdle on your opponent's side of the field. Interesting, AAA's Team Prize is a BD Weapon. And according to Indepth Battlepedia it doesn't look quite that bad. I'm impressed. Though Team Abigail got a book so I wonder which will be the most expensive one in the end?

If anyone gets the book, I'd be willing to buy it. I like collecting Daily Dare items.

Yeah, the AI tends to phail a lot at its own game. Especially against its back wall. I try to serve into the back of the court as many times as possible at the beginning of the round.
Oh, if you want to avoid getting a "helpful" powerup, I recommend waiting 5 seconds for that darn Pawkeet to disappear. This game taught me that Pawkeet are cruel creatures with terrifying black magic abilities. (3 big nets in a row, seriously?!) I'm tempted to acquire one just to feed it to Turmy.
I was failing a lot at first. The turning point was when I started listening to Uptown Funk while playing. It didn't help me play better, but it did make me feel super fly as I was failing, yo.

Argh, why?! Why a team challenge and a game I need to try again and again at to get AAA's score on a day when I have no time? >__< *gives up, challenges Abi, doesn't do team challenge* I'll buy anything I missed.
Worst part is I won the first round. Then the AI got super-size and I had no hope. 8D;
