Lolwut, Snow Roller is one of my favorite games (it's in fact on my Favorites list) and my highscore is in the 6000s, how am I suddenly having trouble with the score? Sorta suspect that the scoring system has been changed, especially seeing how once you get a high enough score to beat AAA, that's 1,000 NP in the bag right there.
I've found that the way (or at least one workable way) to do it is to start out by playing with arrow keys to dodge the obstacles, and once the snowball is big enough, only use the spacebar to jump over the obstacles and don't touch the arrow keys at all. It's a game that takes very quick reactions and the simpler you keep your controls, the better. But surviving all three levels should be enough to get the AAA score without fussing too much over picking up enough loot for points.

Back when this was first released, my all time best was 7260 due to the fact that it was running on a slow computer, so it was easier to dodge and get AAA's score. Now, I'm not sure as my laptop is relatively fast for its age (it's almost ten years old), but I'll give it a shot. EDIT: Pulled it off, barely, with a score of 2837. Huntress-you may have been in a similar situation when you first played it, hence why you were having trouble. Also, when you come to the intersection, take the long path (on the 2nd and 3rd level, it's the left one, not sure about the 1st). You'll have more chances to get items, thus bolstering your score.

I'm not going to lie, I hate this game. xD By the time you get to about 50% capacity, there's pretty much no way to tell what's coming in time (if you're running on a decent system) and you're stuck kind of jumping rhythmically and hoping you miss most of the obstacles and catch most of the items (they seem to roughly alternate). But yeah, if you survive most of the levels, you can beat AAA.

Huntress -you may have been in a similar situation when you first played it, hence why you were having trouble. That would definitely have been a factor, seeing how my old laptop was run to the ground until it was little more than a handful of cogs, but more than a twofold difference in scores for a game with a finite endpoint, depending solely on computer speed? 'course, people still seem to be racking up 9000+ highscores somehow, so maybe the way to go is to play the game with Skype and a few other ginormous programs running in the background I usually choose the path at the intersection at random, but now I'm curious to see how much of a difference various tactics can make.

You know it just occurred to me that unless they loop around the right corner of the map to the left that they'll be completely skipping games from Moltara and Shenkuu :c

Okay, so my tip for Snowroller is to slow things down by always keeping the down arrow pressed, it causes the snowball to slow down, just as the up arrow causes it to speed up. It gives you a lot more time to react.

Wait, there's good music to it? I just listened to Green Day until I got the high score. I so rarely listen to the OSTs of games anymore.

Also we had two Altador games, very odd choice unless they picked the games at random and based the map's trail off that. Though in that case maybe a map interface isn't the best choice since we'd expect one game from each world and be visiting most if not all worlds.

They could still technically loop back down to the Lost Desert after Brightvale or Krawk Island if they so chose. But unless they have lines criss-crossing, or going "around" on the sides, Moltara and Shenkuu are pretty much excluded from the current path.

In previous years the dotted line has gone off one edge of the map and appeared at the other side, so I wouldn't worry about that just yet.

I must have also been one of the people who used to play on a slower computer: my high score was in the 6000s, but it felt like such a chore getting AAA's score. Easy still, but it took a while because I kept missing things to scoop up to increase the score. Glad it wasn't another Chariot Chaser situation though...

Argh, second time I forgot to send score without accepting AAA's challenge first.
Anyways, got a 3,572 on the second successful try. Could have gotten more, but I had to abruptly leave mid-game to get the laptop charger, since I wasn't sure how quickly my laptop would have gone dead.

Even though I already defeated AAA, I decided to test a theory out to see how it would affect the points (either leaving the game quality to high, which is the default setting, or change it to best instead of using low/medium). Result-4336 points at the end of 3 levels. So, it is possible to get AAA's score by the end of the second level, but you'll need a lot of luck with the items and a high snowball bonus (probably between 80-100%, 100 essentially doubling your level score)

I do love this game, but the avie score, I feel, is impossible.
