Daily Dare 2016 is live! While AAA is busy with a "Project X", Abigail decided it was time to bring Daily Dare back to try and get back into things. It'll be running for 20.5 days from April 12th to May 2nd (April 12th & 13th count as one day so there's 20 challenges). It looks like we'll be following the format of the last Daily Dare, crossing all over a map of Neopia and being challenged in a game based on the world visited. Depending on who you beat you get a specific prize AND if beaten on the "date of challenge" you'll get an additional bonus prize. The FAQ also says there will be Double Dares (where you can win both their prizes) and Team Challenges (where you have to team up with someone and both submit a score for the one you challenged to get a bonus prize). BTW, if the map looks familiar, it reuses a LOT from the 2013's map: Meanwhile, Lulu keeps up her thieving skills with " Raiding the Royal Neopians". Lulu has an idea what "Project X" may be (seems like it had something to do with Camp Wannamakeagame being both AAA and Lulu went there) and she wants to help him out. However she first needs to see the plans he's making but doesn't have the key to the room he and Abigail are staying in at the Royal Neopian. Buy key packs so that she can break into rooms until getting into the right one (and one the way keep a memento for each room you get into). (Thanks Herdy for explaining that) Link to JN' Guide. General Advice:1. Before picking who to challenge, open another window and play the game first. Obviously aim for AAA's score, and once you do or decide to settle with Abigail THEN go back to the Daily Dare page, challenge the one you want to challenge, and then go back to the game's window and send score. 2. Remember you don't need to beat their score on the "Date of Challenge" so if you want to beat AAA for each Challenge you can at your own pace. However remember that you'll not get the "Date of Challenge" prize.

AAA and Abigail are holidaying at the Royal Neopian - that's why Lulu is breaking into rooms there. She's trying to find AAA's room. Why she didn't break into AAA's room on Roo Island during the last two years is anyone's guess though, since she already has a key to that.

The best thing about the "new" map is the amount of little brain trees.
They're so adorable! haha.

Thanks Herdy! Also I noticed a few mistakes: 1. Of course, the Neoboard they link to is still called the Altador Cup board. *sigh* 2. Lulu's NC Mall section is for Camp Wannamakeagame. So, first day's challenge is Dueling Decks. So I played my first game (on hard)... where after losing JUST ONE match-up Zenco got a lucky streak and took almost all my cards. I decided to restart and did pretty good on the second game, took a while but I got up to 23,000... when Zenco got a lucky streak and took all the cards. I decided to go with Abigail because this game can go straight into a Moltaran lava pit... while set on fire (most likely from me). Maybe I was a bit hasty (probably should have tried Medium), but at least I don't have to worry about trying to keep my "AAA" streak up (plus my job has me working odd and sometimes long hours so I think it's better I don't have that as a worry). JN's guide is the best advice I can give. But here's some general advice: 1. KNOW THE VALUES. Know what's a good value and know what's a weak value. 2. Keep track of who has what card. Also when cards are won they're placed on the bottom of the deck (I think the winner's card is placed on the bottom of the deck before the loser's) so, if your fast enough, you can may even know what card Zenco may have next up. 3. Always try to keep control. That is try to always have the most cards at any time, keeping strong cards, and strategically letting him win on "weak" cards (and if you're playing on hard just hope he doesn't get on a winning streak). 4. To get the score you need you'll need to prolong the game as long as possible. Once you have the lead, I'd say when he only has 3 or 2 cards left, let him win. Ideally you'll want him to stop at having around 10 cards. That way you can win 5 rounds to get that point bonus before letting him win again. 5. Remember your Wild Card, if Zenco gets on a winning streak it might be the only way to stop him (but not guaranteed). However you only get one use of the Wild Card per game so choose to use it wisely.

It took me a while (and some shouting) but I managed to beat AAA within the hour. Will it continue? Errrr... probably not. This ends right before my finals and non-thesis presentation, soooo.... *Sigh* It's safe to say I'm getting silver. Nonetheless I'm gonna try.

Doesn't one of the NTWFers own a pet named AAA? c:

I beat AAA on medium mode. My suggestion is to choose this mode as it isn't too easy but also gives you the benefit of picking Zenco's card. Dueling Decks is a mining game, it is designed for you to choose to lose in order to get a higher score. It took me about 40 minutes and 2 tries on the Hard Level. Then I gave up and won the 1st time on the medium level.

Dueling Decks isn't too bad, definitely could be worse. I just didn't have the patience to sit there and try not to accidentally win/purposely lose to get to 25k. Too many finals and projects to worry about.
Also, I prefer Abigail's prize over AAA's prize for today anyway. XD

XD Yeah, I'm surprised I got a book and then saw AAA's prize is a cheap looking wearable. Now we've had things like that before where Abigails prize was better, though not usually on the first day (course I suppose it doesn't matter when, especially if they made all the prizes at the same time).

AAA is seriously swaggin' this year, dang bro.
Hm, I've never played this particular game before, so I guess I'll give it a quick test run. XD
EDIT: Hm, yeah, not enough patience for AAA's score. *shoots for Abigail*

One day down, 20-something to go. Got an AAA score, which is a good start. Doesn't one of the NTWFers own a pet named AAA? c: Ah, yes there is, but don't expect them to show up. They still love AAA as much as ever, but it's hard for them to see AAA handled by a different team, and therefore they're avoiding this event. It'd be best to respect their decision and space.

Is it just me, or does Lulu seem more 'rounded out', so to speak?

AAA defeated, and just enough NC to help Lulu commit crimes.
