Eh... not really. The weapon is fragile, and breaks forever the moment it blocks any water. Effectively making it useless against a large number of challengers and utterly pointless in 2 player battling. Without the block-breaking though, it would be fairly decent, you're right.

If anyone gets the book, I'd be willing to buy it. I like collecting Daily Dare items. Send me a neomail Oliver, and maybe we can work something out .

Oh hell, a game I utterly despise. I know I'm going for Abi.

Ugh, this is like the slowest and most awkwardly controlled game ever. I tried three times and my score got worse each time, so I gave up and went for Abigail. (Got a partner from the Neoboards again)

WHY?! When I checked it last it only blocked 5 Water and didn't break. That would have been fine. But why have it permanently break? Heck, I'd even say it temporarily breaking is also a bit much. We have other fire weapons in the BD and they don't permanently break when the opponent uses water, why follow the logic here? Oh, and this also means Abigail's team prize now completely outclasses AAA's team prize. *sigh* Background is still nice though (also is Abigail's normal prize a reference to the drink "sex on the beach"?).

Is it just me or is Abigail's prize (the drink) a recolor of her prize from the last team challenge?

To their credit, it is a differently drawn version of a cocktail glass. Though it is a bit weird that she's had two Neopets versions of cocktails. Like... lack of in-world aging aside, she's a minor. I know Neopets doesn't have alcohol as such, but it still seems a little odd.

Besides, just because I'm giving them out doesn't mean I drink them, what kind of host would I be? "Here, have this drink which contains some of my backwash". Ew, totally gross.

I also immediately suspected a Sex on the Beach reference with the item but then it should by all accounts have been an orange drink in a highball glass. Which would actually look more innocuous than a martini glass so maybe we all have excessively dirty minds xD
Re: alcohol: the word "cocktail" means nothing, I've had about a million mojitos over the past months which were essentially Sprite with lime and peppermint. Restaurant menus don't bother meticulously specifying them as virgin cocktails. I've had to specify the non-alcoholic part myself, in case I get (usually welcome but currently poorly timed) surprise rum.
*can't stand the volleyball game and just went for Abi's score to tick off the day, yay cocktail*

It's not that game is hard, just very time consuming... and time is what I don't have right now. :/ Ugh. If I did this later next week, I'd still be okay, right?

Does anyone need an AAA partner? If so, I need a partner.

Even after quite a few misses and the opponent creaming me on the fourth round, I at least managed to scrape up a 400. The game is a bit monotonous, but comes with a nice background reward to make up for it. And while we're on the alcohol talk, it wouldn't be the first time we've had alcoholic items (look under "Old Versions of this Item"): Same with this...and even beer...

Ryanruff13 : The beer one is item number 7. That is old. o__o I bet that's from the days when the site was aimed toward bored college students (who would probably chuckle at the idea of getting their cartoon internet pet drunk) Also, in the old red wine's description, look at those wine pairing tips XD It's just not the same in the new version bahaha. On topic: I beat AAA's score relatively easily (that BG tho @__@). The game isn't hard once you get the hang of it, just tedious. And AAA's score isn't too hard to get. The AI is stupid for the first two levels and those are the only two you need to beat to get 250. I tried for the avatar score since that's one of the few avatars I still need and failed. P: Ah well

Today's game is... ugh... Stowaway StingAnd great, it's a Double Dare too. *Sigh*I'm not good at this game, I ended up challenging Abigail. I feel this game has you jumping through hoops to play it. The angle makes the controls a bit awkward even after you get used to them, there are damaging boxes with some you NEED to jump on (plus your health drains fast and you only have one life), and there's also instant game over pits. And later levels have you undoing spaces you've already been on and even later needs you to shift threw a few colors. To anyone wanting to challenge AAA, I wish you good luck!
