Although I like the concept of the game, I can't say I like the game itself because I'm really bad at it. Saw that my hi-score was 383 but when I played the game, I got 700+ on my first try :3 Thought the game wasn't so bad so I tried another two times but I only got 400 on both occasions. Don't know how the score of 700 happened. Must be sheer luck

I played this game a long time ago to get the avie. Didn't like it then, don't like it now. But I can still get around 700 easily though.

I had never played this game before, aaand I was quite right. >_> Completed. Bye bye forever, game. (plz don't come back for another DD or GMC)
I completed the first three levels slowly and steadily without dying. When the tiles started changing colours when I stepped back on them, I didn't even try to complete the level anymore, I just hung around and gathered treasure for points.
Could this game be what happens when game makers are trying too hard? "Hm, I think it's too easy." "Well, the colour changes will get more difficult. We did add spike traps, and there's only one life." "Right. And there should be places where you have to step in the spike traps. 8D" "Welp, if that makes you happy..." "Hm, are you sure that it's challenging enough? You know what, there should also be enemies moving about. And the enemies should eat your money." "Don't you think we should at least have items like health refills and stuff?" "Pff, fiiiine, BUT they have to disappear really fast =I Also more insta-death-holes, there's never enough holes."

I wasn't sure I'd be able to pull it off, since my previous high score was like in the 200s, but I managed to scrape up a score of 670, whoo \ o / (I did basically the same thing as Liou in the tiles-changing-back level, except for me I looked at the timer and went "ok there's no way" and just resorted to farming treasure, lol)

Eventually managed to get up to 730. I actually liked Bumble Beams and even Mynci Beach Volleyball was was alright, but this game is kind of...odd. It seems like you die on early rounds often (though I suppose with only eight levels, the early levels aren't that early), and falling into a pit is an instant Game Over. On the bright side, it was a pretty quick (if frustrating) challenge, especially compared to last night's.
And alright rewards this time around. I may be able to use the Stolen Money Bags for something interesting.

Yeah, from all the guides I've seen on this:
AAA is pretty manageable within the first few levels in a few tries IF you stick back to grab treasure. Time bonus is not worth nearly as much as treasure bonuses, so apparently:
For the first level, it doesn't matter if you re-step on tiles (they won't change back), and you should hang around idly until you get 4 money bags (the maximum that they will let you get before they stop spawning--but don't worry if they disappear, they will keep spawning until you get 4 as far as I see). On the second level collect 5 (again, the maximum) and try not to get hit too much. On the third level collect 5 bags and up to 2 diamonds (which are worth more), and if you get below half health, type "scrap" if you need to refill it. By the fourth level you should be able to just collect bags and diamonds and ignore the tiles because that's the level where they start alternating if you step multiple times anyways.
I managed to get AAA's score before going to bed last night, and I don't play this game often, so hopefully it won't be too hard for most of you <_< (Definitely not as straightforward as Deckswabber, but eh.)

www.neopets.com/~SerenaciousThis game guide helped me a bunch if you're looking to do AAA. I fell into the game over tile three games in a row, ahahaha... ha. -_- So yeah, guess that's a "do it later before laptop is thrown out window" game.

I got AAA's score first, challenged AAA, and sent the score.......AND AN ERROR PREVENTED MY SCORE FROM BEING SENT!!!!!
Good news: I beat my original score by 50 points and the score WENT THROUGH, thank Snaw.

Today's challenge is Dubloon Disaster! The game is a total disaster for me. Never played it before, tried, and will never play it again. Went for Abi.
Also, looking to buy the book if anyone's selling it (:

Dubloon DisasterAnother game I'm not too good at/too impatient to play. Interesting enough if you're SUPER lucky you can get to AAA's score in a matter of seconds as the rarest Dubloon coin in the game, the Two Hundred Dubloon Coin is worth 1,000 points. Don't know how rare it is but I suppose if you want to take the easy way out you can wildly play the game hoping for it to show up. However that may not be a bad idea anyway. One strategy is to keep resetting until you get a good amount of rare dubloons early on, notably the Fifty Dubloon Coin which is 250 and the One Hundred Dubloon Coin which is worth 500. Of course that'll only get you so far, the main thing about Dubloon Disaster is that it takes a LOT of patience normally. Since the mines blow up when they hit each other, its recommended you get a few (how many you feel comfortable with) and then stop collecting Dubloons to instead focusing on having the mines hit each other to blow up. No doubt the high scores were achieved this way and it'll most likely get you to 1k, though I salute you for having the time to do that. That book is gonna rise up in price REAL fast.

It's not a hard score to get, it's just time consuming. Took about 10 minutes.

Yeah, even with these tips in mind, 1000 is a score that just passes the edge of inconvenient (beyond, say, 600 or so). It's really easy, for example, to get a whole lot of two-dubloon coins in a row and then have a mine spawn on top of you. So keep that in mind when you're going for the AAA score. xD Also, the "scallywags" cheat is pretty useful at the start if you are just blitzing for a few to see if you'll get an early one that's actually worth the round.
That said, I've made it to 700, 900, and 800ish ranges a few times (including one game with a gold dubloon at the very start) but this is a frustrating enough game that I feel like I might just go with Abigail after all. <_<
Incidentally, so far I'm finding it a little less mind-numbing to just do the "traditional" way, where you basically kite around the mines in the center. Only 9 at max will be on the screen at a time, so it's easy to sort of skit around the edges as long as dubloons spawn mostly there (with the obvious caveat that dubloons in the middle take a lot more fiddling to get. Unfortunately, periodically a whirlpool will spawn for you if the field is full, sort of resetting the field anyways (and re-introducing the risk of something spawning on top of you, which was the reason I switched to begin with).
EDIT: So, that method turned out to be a lot easier for me, and I got not only the AAA score but a new personal high score (1290), without having to resort to the luck of getting a few big coins. Supposedly there's also a cheat "blackpawkeet" that gives you a better rate of high-level coins, but I have no clue if it actually works.
