AAAAUGH I can't stand games with this sort of commands, when up doesn't really make me go up and down doesn't really make me go down 8'D Eeyup. So I opened Dubloon Disaster and saw that my high score was 20... I tried not to be too alarmed. Maybe I had reached higher scores at some point without submitting them. >___> It was all right. Went over 1000 quite easily. In this game, I play matchmaker, essentially. *flips hair* I just can't help being the handsomest pirate on the seven seas, you know. ((... how many seas does Neopia have?)) Those mines are so smitten with me that their eyes only meet when they're staring at me. It is sad that I have to lead them on to make them notice each other. But little by little, I do make them understand that there are plenty of mines in the sea, and that they're perfect for each other. "Come and get me, come and get me - oooh look, you've found each other! Another match made." Ah, the beauty of two mines following their path in life, unaware of each other as they progress, until suddenly they meet in explosive passion. So romantic. tl;dr: I used the make-mines-explode-each-other method and had fun with it.

Another way you can do DD is by getting the screen up to 9 mines and wrangling them in the center (Cowboy hat is optional). Get them to move in the opposite direction of the dubloon and pick it up when you can do a circle around to obtain it. Slow and steady, took about 30 minutes~
Still somehow managing all-AAA, gold check. \o/

I just kept failing until I randomly got a 1000-point dubloon. It only took maybe 20 minutes?

After a lot of failing, I decided to just quit the game right away unless the initial dubloon was one of high points. About 7 restarts later it just so happened to be the 1000-pointer... kinda wish I'd have thought to do that earlier.
Sometimes luck can be used to your advantage heh.

So apparently my high score for Petpet Plunge was 1121? I'm not sure how that happened.
There's a lot of luck involved in this one, but it isn't actually that hard. You might fail just before getting the necessary score a few times, but it's completely possible to get the AAA score with enough persistence. You can get the first level in one shot by aiming directly at the bubble at maximum power, aside from that it mostly comes down to finding a pattern to finish in as few shots as possible. It's usually good to get the maractite chunks right away if you can, and at full power so you'll have a lot of bouncing potential.
(Really though, I had a game end at 549 points before finally retrying and getting 553.)

I think Petpet Plunge isn't that hard. BUUUUUT my high score is only 178 so who am I to judge xD (This score was obtained with effort) Prizes today aren't really that enticing, therefore I didn't mind going with Abi and wasting less time on this one.

I don't remember playing this either, yet my all time best was 1072. Still went with Abi.

Petpet PlungeAbigail for me too. At first it looks like a game of skill, you just needing to memorize where to aim the Petpet and at what power, but looks can be deceiving. I think the bubbles don't bounce you off in the same way every time (or if they do then you need to hit them in the exact same spot every time) so while you can generally predict how they'll act it's not a garuntee. Also, since some bubbles pop after hitting them once (blue) or three times (green), if you wanted to use a bubble to help you bounce around you need to plan accordingly. Both prizes aren't do great, AAA's is a "gift" and Abigail is a "special" item, though they might as well be called "junk". Which is odd, as both could be made into Furniture items. Thinking about it, though I'm glad JS has expanded into Weapons, there are still some category of items they haven't really done much in such as Furniture (and I think it was in this Daily Dare did we get a new Coloured Petpet). On one hand one could say they're trying to master one type of item before focusing on another, but on the other that doesn't mean they can't try doing it for multiple if the item they create sort of calls for it.
