Doodled a new forum avatar for Avery today since I noticed she was still Wheatley almost six months after the end of Hero City. XD She said "draw [my puppy]" and so I did. And added Lamb Dog too. It was fun. |

This is a project I started back in January, and I'm glad to finally see it to completion! A little tribute to the Mod Squad for the NTWF- I hope you all like it! Special thanks goes out to Celestial for drawing the borders. Starting things off, our high lady, Patjade . This was really fun to draw, lol. Next, the admins! First up, Huntress . She's gonna make you an offer you can't refuse. (Bloody Mary was fun, lol.) Killix has a chocolate. =D Nomnomnom. Next up, Gelquie . Since she wears nebulas a lot as her avatar, and has appeared in several past Trick or Treat events as some variant of a sheet ghost, I decided to make her a sheet ghost in nebula colors. Took some cues from the design of the pokemon Mismagius to give the design interest. Hope you like it! For Celestial , I had a bit of fun making her look like a kickbutt dragon... and threw Ranumgen on her shoulder because she writes for him and it was funny. Moving right along, it's time to give a send up to the fullmods! Tiger was easy to come up with an idea for. It practically drew itself. X3 Carolyn 's image came about because she frequently helps to organize/run the Neopian Times collabs, so of course I had to make a nod to that on her picture. =D Open the gates and sieze the day!For Twillie I... kinda went to town with my love of dynamic poses. XD It was fun! Celes sneakily poked Thorn for me about what she'd want to look like, since she has no drawn avatar/persona on the forum. Since she mentioned her fandoms, I gave her a Yu-Gi-Oh card (I reveal my trap card! Banhammer!) I made her clothes purple and grey since both Doormat from the Town and Nyx Nightshadow from Hero City alternated between purple and grey outfits. And finally, I covered half of her face with her scarf and gave her a mask because she said she liked to imagine her forum-self never showing her face completely. Hope you like it! Then of course there's me. =3 I drew myself with my two cats, Little Foot and Cocoa. And last but not least, Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff) ! This one was a bit tricky for me, ahaha. I gave the MLP style a good ol' college try, but I just couldn't get it to work for me, lol. I ended up drawing the Flufflepuff character in my own art style, which I hope is okay! While looking for reference images of the character I noticed a few that showed Flufflepuff in a deerstalker hat, the traditional hat worn by detectives. This amused me, so I threw it on as a nod to the fact that Cassie played as one of the detectives in the Liar's Game event. And there we go! I really hope everybody liked their gifts. ^^ If you want the versions without the borders to save to your personal machines, just hit me up on skype, discord, or via a PM and I can send them to you. I hadn't even noticed that Nyx and Doormat have the same colour scheme, but purple is my own favourite colour too so it's not really surprising. Is that a coat? Because pretty coats are like da bestest items of clothing, I would love one like that rl. ^_^
I don't remember if I've told you that 'Phantom of the Opera' is my favourite musical, and one of my favourite books. It is. So. That little mask makes me super happy! As does the Yu-Gi-Oh card, of course, though I am actually super awful at that game and would probably be the first to fall in an NTWF Duel Monster tournament AU. =P
(would you mind if I set this as my forum avatar for a bit? You said you hope I like it- I love it! Thank-you for putting so much effort into making lovely avatar-type pictures for your mod buddies, I'm sure the others will love them just as much as I do.)

Thorn I don't mind at all! I'm glad you like it! ^^ I did not know you love Phantom so much, but it was certainly a happy accident, ahaha. And yes, that is a coat. =3 I had fun drawing it. Lolz don't worry, most people IRL are awful at duel monsters, it's haaard. I had a PS1 game once for Yu Gi Oh and I could never ever ever beat it. Patjade You're welcome! =D

I was getting tired of Attack on Bughorse anyway and even that's a bit obscure. I love all the horsie fur and the hoof and aaaaaaa < 3 Thank you so much!

Just a PSA, while I can't at present retrieve anything I previously hosted on imgsafe (mrrrrg) I have begun the laborious process of downloading all of my more recent-ish (within the last four or so years) art from photobucket. All of the dead images on this thread will get properly updated, but I don't particularly want to go through every single thread I've ever posted art in to fix the broken images.
That said, if you have previously received art from me that was not posted to this dump thread, please let me know! I can rehost the image for you or just PM it to you as an attachment. It's also possible I have more recent images saved to my backup drive from my old laptop that died in February, so even if it wasn't hosted to photobucket I can check there too just to be sure.

Since Wrighton is (just about) done now, I figured I should crosspost the artwork I've done for the game to my own art thread, lol. There's a lot to go through. That took way longer than it should have (because I was being a lazy bum and only doing two or three posts at a time then forgetting about it) but I have finally finished rehosting all my old photobucket images on this thread to either tinypic or imgur. However, in the process of doing that I unearthed some various doodles and drawings that were never posted here- some are on my disused deviantart account, but most are not, so I figured I'll toss them all here for posterity. Some of 'em are trades or commissions that I gave to the requester without putting anywhere else, some I... legitimately have no idea why they weren't posted. Either way, they're here now! The hidden relics uncovered by my photobucket rehost of doom! Fair warning, some of these may be quite old and not reflective of my current artistic abilities. Either way, I'm still pretty happy with how this came out, I remember the design was heavily gradiented and took me a whiiile to do, lol. Another neoboards request. There was some disagreement between us about what the hound should look like, so I just drew a whole bunch of dogs for the sake of the visual comparison. We ended up picking the hound. I drew three phoenixes standing together for the phoenixes page of the NTWF RP wiki, and colored them in the colors of Houses Jade, Accipiter, and Escalus. That pic is already on this thread, but later I decided "why not" and bucketfilled the same pic in the colors of other houses. Twice! Andesine, Oberon, and Cressida Topaza, Lazuli, and Curys Random Morgaine sketches. I think I was just trying to figure out what her hair looks like under that scarf. Uh... A warning against the dangers of late night skype conversations. (Drawn by Tiger, I just made it bettur) And finally, some misc that I may or may not remember the context for anymore. Red panda character that was a commission for someone on the art boards of Flight Rising. Another commission from Flight Rising- a dragon this time, but not an actual Flight Rising dragon breed, lol. Phew! That's a lot of drawings! I have more, but they are all spoiler for one reason or another so I'll hold them back for now. I also have some newer art I need to post up, but again I'll save that for another time. For now, enjoy all these relics I dredged up in the process of saying many unflattering things about photobucket and assuring imgur over and over that no, I am not a robot. Laters! |

Woooo art dump time! \ o / Last dump of the year! First up, some Miscellaneous drawings. First up, drawing I did of Kyn 's alien ancestor design for Caden from Wrighton! This is a character of mine that very few on the forum will be familiar with because he's been pretty much dA exclusive before now, but I doodled him in response to a question Twillie asked about weird character designs. He's called Void, and for a long time he was basically my mascott- I've drawn him so many times I could do it with my eyes closed, I kid you not, I love the lil fuzzball. Was nice to revisit him after so long. Next up, Hero City!Long, long overdue reference picture of Bill's son Oswald "Ossie" Sinclair. Lookit that happy dork. A reference I drew for myself of younger Bill from when he was a hero and not a grumpy old man corporate CEO. And Bill's best friend from that time, Devin Bourdelle AKA Star Prophet. And the antagonists of my Hero City NaNo novel (that I am still working on!) the alien race called the Kuwar'ei. And some doodles I drew during NaNoWriMo of a few of the characters submitted to me for the story. Pixie 's Echo And Fraze 's Lord Luck. Now, Medieval!First few pictures I posted previously to the Medieval game re-reading thread, but I'm putting them here too for posterity. Here's an avatar image I drew of Morgaine, as well as her two cats Mercury and Rust. Picture I drew for Rosalie Dylas (Maddy) of her character, Rosalie. Quick doodle of Omni 's Orrin. And by popular demand of the Medieval discord chat, Princess Destiney wearing the cholera scarf, with a snarky Aines on her shoulder. Avery icon Expanded universe relevant only- this is a medieval character who's made minor appearences in a few fics before, and is slated for a few more appearances, some small and some larger. His name is Astor Malpass, and he's an elvish fireknight for Tiger's House Accipiter. (Though the character is mine, lol.) |
