Time for ARTS! First, some Sieg doodles, for funsies. (I need to draw a character a lot in order to get the hang of their design, but once I do I can usually draw them a ton faster.) And some pure lulz- I no longer remember who in the skype chat suggested this, but here it is anyway! I might color it at some point if I get bored but for now here's the sketch version. (Tagging Liou and Rosalie Dylas (Maddy) for the inclusion of their characters.) Rosalie asked if Lawrence would knight Sieg since Sieg is "her" knight. Not really necessary, since Sieg was already knighted years ago, but he agrees to go along with it to humor her. Laurie plays along as well because Rosie asked him to, but can't quite help feeling a lil bit of an inferiority complex next to Sieg. XD Hope you guys like it!

It's been a while but here's another doodle dump! Quite a varied collection we have going here, so lets get right down to it. First off, this is a drawing I drew as a sort of reference for Countryswap Sieg, the version of the character where he's a Courdonian slave. This is a drawing that I did based on the fic "The Great Cookie Princess." D'aw, toddler Ophelia and daddy. This one is my contribution to the fanservice bandwagon- shirtless Belial! Morgaine likes what she sees. ;D And um... not so fanservicy. D= And the knight adventures duo! Between Orrin being massive and Sieg being tiny, they are... quite different in their proportions. XD This is one I actually just finished so no one will have seen it yet even on skype- Sieg and Morgaine all done up for Woomas! <3 Mother and son singing Woomas carols.

And here at last folks are the under the mistletoe requests! 21 requests total between the forum and my dA watchers, quite the haul! Since there were an odd number of requests I threw in one of my own characters to fill out the last pair. Merry Christmas/Hanukkah/Woomas/General Wintertime Festival Season to you all~ Tagging Pixie, Coaster, Killix, Tiger, Elcie, Celestial, Kristykimmy, Rosalie Dylas (Maddy), Lizzie, PFA

It's been a really long time- let's have some arts! Get ready for MINOR CHARACTER SPAM! First, some long overdue references. Seamus Dun, one of my minor Bernian nobles Regan Allendale, my other minor Bernian noble. Anri Hasek, the commander of the elven knights of Nid'aigle. Gavin Monfort, Anri's second in command and Sieg's knight master. Anders Escalus, former heir to House Escalus who works as a fireknight for House Jade (alongside his phoenix, Mirja) Heather Escalus, Anders' sociopathic younger sister who manipulated poor Cyril Oberon with a love potion. And last but certainly not least, a loooong overdue proper ref for Sieg's younger sister, Ophelia. I also did the emblems for my minor noble houses. House Dun (Seamus' house) House Allendale And House Escalus It's not really a proper ref (it's drawn on yellow construction paper with crayon) but here's a concept doodle of Anders and Heather's brother, Filipe Escauls. And finally, some for funsies doodles. ^^ We joked a bit in the skype chat about how Seamus would not be very good fanservice, because he's actually sort of pudgy under his clothes. So of course I drew him in the sauna, to his mild embarrassment. Reynold Jade being clingy with Anders, a la "Sibling Rivalry" (tagging PFA) And these last few pictures contain mild spoilers if you're not caught up on reading mine and Tiger's fic, "A Chance to Help". So... Spoiler Warning! Read further at your own risk! It's Cailia! ^^ Scene from part two. Their height difference will never not be adorable. This is based on an observation I made. Ophelia kept putting her face in or on Cai's shoulder. So I decided that's a thing for her. She does it when she's upset or feels afraid or vulnerable, because it helps her to feel more secure. And to close out the night, 8D Hugs! I am really happy with how Cai's expression came out in this one.

It's been a while, so let's dump some art, shall we? In no particular order~ First, completely unrelated to anything... have some blumaroos! And now, Medieval stuff! We were discussing fanservice of the ladycharacters to even out the high proportion of male character fanservice, and Liou asked for fanservice of my elf knight lady, Anri. I obliged. Then it was only fair that I give Cai some fanservice of his girlfriend. Here's lil!Sieg being a pain in the arse to his sister, as you do. ...*cries tears* (tagging PFA) This is a drawing I did a long while back, and I can finally post it because it's no longer a spoiler! It's from Tiger's fic Birds of a Feather. Celes is not the only person to draw Cat Duval. 8D Tagging ElcieThe fullsize of my Anders and Mirja icon. And a picture of Dimitri Escalus (Anders non-mage bro) and his wife, Grace. (tagging Avery) And finally, lots and lots of minor character refs. XD First, my Corvids: Filipe Escalus, the (mage) younger brother of Anders Annabelle Escalus, Filipe's wife. Dimitri Escalus, Anders' non-mage brother mentioned above. Moving on from the Corvids- here's some Bernians: Aaron Dun, eldest brother of Seamus Eleanor Bay, Seamus' sister who marries into House Bay. Theodore Dun, the third Dun sibling, master of the hunt, and unabashed hotty. ...I have so many characters, lol, this isn't even all the ones I need to do refs for. XDDD

It's been a while, hasn't it? I think it's time for an art dump, how about you all? 8D This one has... a lot of refs, lol. I drew some things that are not refs but unfortunately a lot of them are spoiler. Whyyy is so much of my art spoiler? First, some cutes. (Curly haired lad is Celes') Second, some pretty phoenixes. The emblem I drew for Carrie's House Cressida An updated ref for my pudgy bookkeeper Seamus Dun. Seamus' father, Cohen Dun, who was killed by pirates in 1303. Lovely violin lady, Sawyer. < 3 Not so lovely dad of Anders and co, Olander. Now, for some of Olander's many grandkids! First, Dimitri's eldest daughter, Rhea His second daughter and surprise mage, Delilah. And his son, who has a very interesting life and makes Good Decisions, Odin. (Carrie's baby) Now moving on from Dimitri's kids, here is Filipe's heir, Catia. And Catia's husband, Linden. (He belongs to Carrie.) And finally, Catia and Linden's heir, Cedrick. Tagging Celestial, Avery

A'ight, so this was overdue, but finally it exists! An updated reference for my personal avatar. Name: Shinko Nicknames: Shink, That Nerd In the Hoodie Species: Catgirl Gender: Female Orientation: Asexual/Aromantic Strengths: Tenacious, high pain tolerance, fairly strong for her size. Weaknesses: Nearsighted, has a bad right knee, gets overheated/dehydrated easily. Personality: She's easygoing, fun-loving, and imaginative above all else. Generally played up as a sarcastic twat, the avatar Shinko likes to crack dumb snarky jokes, though she never means any harm by them and is quick to apologize when people take offense. Conflict avoidant in general, she often plays the role of a middleman and is more likely to try and moderate a disagreement than take a side herself, occasionally to her own detriment. Notes:- Has a bad habit of muttering to herself out loud without realizing she's doing it.
- Occasionally opts not to wear her glasses for one reason or another depending on her mood. This can lead to dryness of the eyes from straining them.
- T-Shirts usually have some sort of nerdy reference on them. I usually include references to Harry Potter, Inuyasha, or Poke'mon as I have in my life owned shirts from all of these fandoms, but feel free to draw/write whatever your personal nerdlove is.
- The hoodie, on the other hand, is always a gray University of Florida Gators hoodie. This isn't optional.
- Ears and tail move in a fashion similar to a cat depending on Shinko's mood. So the ears will flatten backwards and the tail will lash when she is displeased, the fur on both will fluff up when she's afraid, and her tail will curl when she's pleased.

Been a looooong time hasn't it? xD Time for an ART DUMP OF DOOM. First off Medieval- Spoilers for Tiger 's fic Into Thin Air =D Camazot hazza fish! Doodled Celestial a flustered saint because flustered saints are fun Quick scribble of Sieg's squad in the Nid'aigle company. I still need to finish that fic. >_> Tiger mentioned that big joint trade from forever ago, this was my contribution for Elcie . Ciro Lynn (with an Ivy in the background, tagging Gelquie ) Surprised I didn't post this yet, but this is Ezra Alaric, thirdborn son of Rafe from maingame, Oliver's younger brother. This character is a spoiler. You'll meet her eventually. This character is also a spoiler. You'll meet him probably sooner than Roisin, but I can't promise how soon. For now I'll reveal that his name is Jarle and he's deep in the rabbithole. Next, Hero City. I've already posted these, but may as well have them here for posterity, neh? This is Bill Sinclair, my main NPC. I used this image as my avatar during the game. And the same character, when he was much younger and less grumpy- and a superhero. Finally, Flight Rising; I've been drawing lots o' dragonz. The following guys belong to Celestial , and were mostly drawn as part of the 50k give and get on the site. First up, a dragon version of her Medieval character, Absolon. The spiral (the long noodly one) is based on Celes' Medieval character, Llyr. The fae (the smaller one with the violin) is mine, based on my character Sawyer. Fae version of Celes' goddess character, Cebeline. This one is her Jade dragon, representing the Jade faction from Medieval. And finally, Celes already posted this to her own art thread; a collaboration she and I did a while back. My linearts her color and shading. The imperial (the red one) is her Alain expy, and the fae (the yellow and blue one) is my Sieg dragon. This is Tiger 's tundra, Pamiiruq. This dragon is mine, a ridgeback named Holt, but he's based on Tiger's background broom, Erik Holt, the husband of Leif's sister Regina. This one is Gelquie 's mirror, Vie, which has colors from all three of the main medieval factions. This one is Killix 's coatl, Coal. Lookie lookie, a background, you don't see those from me often! These dragons belong to random Flight Rising users, and were usually drawn for the Doodle the Dragon Above You game. Was pretty happy with how this doodle came out. This was an experiment in coloring traditionally, then adding shine as a digital touch-up. Grrrrooooar! I was really proud of this one but the owner never responded, ahaha. Oh well! Another one I was pretty happy with that the owner never said anything about. This is sadly a bit of a trend on the Doodle the Dragon Above You thread. This one the owner also ignored, but I don't really care because it was super fun to draw. What happens when I decide to draw a spiral dragon wearing the spiraly shadow marva eyes. I discovered guardian faces are actually really fun to draw. This one had a skin on that was tricky to do but a great challenge. This one I liked how it came out (again the dragon was wearing a slightly tricky skin) but like several of the above I guess the owner didn't like it since they never commented. Oh well~ Tricky angle on this one, but I think it came out okay. And there were a lot more (you can find me on the Doodle the Dragon thread pretty frequently) but I'll not share them because they are either kinda lacking in effort or not terribly interesting framing-wise. The following drawings were also for random users, but were either commissions or for the 50k Give and Get, not the Doodle the Dragon thread. So they tended to have more time and effort put into them. I love happy spiral faces. Spirals are fun to draw in general. The accent on this jerk took me so long, you have no idea, ahaha. But I'm happy with how it came out. ^^ Aaaand I think that's finally it! Whoof I need to dump my art more often, ahaha. Hope you all enjoyed!

I got a new toy to play with for Christmas- a color pencil blender, which is basically a brush pen full of alcohol instead of ink that melts and smears wax-based colored pencils to make the colors look more full and coherant. I really liked the effect of it, so I decided to doodle a little medieval bestiary of some of our less loved (IE never drawn or drawn only once or twice) magical critters. First up- the terror of the Courdonian army, the gryphon. According to Carrie and Elcie, wild gryphons are usually brown or grey, though domesticated ones can be flashier shades of black, white barred, or russet. They have a prominent crest, and both tailfeathers as well as a long lion's tail that ends in more tailfeathers rather than a fur tuft. They are large, powerful creatures that can fly comfortably with two adult riders, and at need can carry up to three. Next, the gryphon's Macarinthian military counterpart- the hippogriff. If gryphons are big, 'griffs (as hippogriffs are more casually known) are genuinely massive. They usually measure up to the size of a clydesdale, with powerful frames and huge wingspans to compensate for their weight. Wild and military bred 'griffs are usually muddy shades of grey or brown, but so-called "show breeds" can be just about any color a horse can; white, black, paint, dun, palomino, merle, and so on. They have fetlocked horse hooves, and both tailfeathers and a horse tail. Males of the species can sometimes have crests, although they are far smaller than the ones on a gryphon. The final large, flying creature in Avani is the pegasus. Unlike hippogriffs and gryphons, pegasi cannot be domesticated. Native to the wide plains of central Valzaim, these dangerous carnivores are both intelligent and viscous. Though smaller than both of their tamed cousins- generally around the size of a pony- pegasi make up for it with their intelligence as well as a their cohesiveness in groups. Male pegasi are iridescent black with bright blue markings, while females are usually brown or dun. Pegasi look mostly like horses, but instead of a mane or tail they have bright blue feathers. They also have very sharp teeth and predatory, forward-set eyes. Here's a quick size chart to compare hippogriffs, gryphons, pegasi, and the Corvid military fliers, phoenixes. Note that though taller than gryphons, phoenixes have significantly less body mass. They are tall but slender, and while much faster than grphons are a lot weaker. Next up, an old friend from Knight Adventures, the black hound. The black hound, sometimes called the Nightsinger, is native to the mountains of Bern (and possibly Lange, not sure what Celes thinks about that, lol). It is a psychopomp, a spirit that guides the souls of the restless dead to their place of rest. It is neither good, nor evil, but it has become something of an omen of bad luck because of the connection it has to death. Under normal circumstances the black hound cannot be hurt, as it is effectively a ghost and can transform into black mist at will. It can, however, be hurt by such impliments as salt and holy water, albeit not as badly as more malevolent spirits can. It usually resembles a pure black hunting hound with blood red eyes, though it's body is ethereal, fading and shifting into mist as it moves. This was kind of an interesting one because the black hound's design was a slight point of contention between me and Omni at first. I imagined an actual hound dog, while she said she imagined a wolf. I ended up doodling several different breeds of dogs, as well as a wolf, so we could decide together what the black hound would look like. The hound dog ended up winning out. Next up was another critter from Knight Adventures, the kelpie. Kelpies are water monsters that take the form of a horse, usually a black horse with blue-green eyes that seems permanently soaked so that it's fur and mane cling to it's body and drip with water. It's true form, however, is a horse made of pure water. They can manipulate water as long as they are touching it, and can if needed pull moisture directly out of the air and soil, though this is less effective. If a person touches a kelpie, they will become stuck to it, and the monster will drag them underwater to drown them. It is found in the mountain lakes of Bern. Finally, our last beastie for the evening, the hydra. Hydras are highly dangerous river snakes native to Meltaim, Macarinth, and Valzaim. They are very difficult to kill thanks to their ability to generate more heads if one is destroyed, growing two heads for every single head chopped off. The only surefire way to kill one is to cleave the heads, then cauterize the wound with fire, making them very hard to defeat without the help of a mage. Hydras have some of the most potent venom known to man; their very blood is like acid, leaving scalds and blisters on contact, and the venom that they carry in their fangs is usually lethal within a few minutes- there is no known antidote.

Huntress's doodle on the "Neopian Mini-Comments" thread reminded me that I actually drew fan art of Shad for her once- although I use the word "drew" in the largest possible quotation marks because the picture in question was heavily referenced from a How-To-Draw book I owned at the time. That was a wee high school freshman version of Shinko who was just learning to art and didn't know better, but looking back on it I'm... highly embarrassed, ahaha. This is the picture in question, which you can actually still see on Shad's petpage as of this posting. Out of boredom, I decided to do a quickscribble of Shad in my current style, with 100% less tweenage "copying the style of better people is how art works, rite?" My scanner murdered it slightly, which it always does with traditional art, alas. XD Hope you like it, Hunty~

...Holy heck on a pogo stick, that was your picture :'D I recognized it immediately but to this day hadn't put it together with, well, you (which I could have if I'd looked at the username recently, BUT). I hold on to all fanart people have sent me, because nevermind all artistic kill-it-with-fire improvement angst, they give me the warm fuzzies <3
Honestly I like both the new and the old versions; the new one's got more personality and detail (heck, more than I usually put in, because ears are too much trouble) but the old one's got this nice fluffy plushie feel to it.
*has been meaning to overhaul her petpages for the past seven million years or so, with updated fanart sections and whatnot, but ahaha welp*

I don't usually make the narcissistic habit of introducing myself to people with "hey, remember me? I made you arts twelve years ago and we never spoke again!" But I know what you mean. I keep all of my gift art saved to my personal machine because I got exasperated after the fifth time someone on deviantart had a fit of "I HATE ALL MY ART, STORAGE FOREVER" and I lost gifts/trades/commissions I loved.
