Ubisoft always has PC issues.... So it makes sense to have it come out a bit later. Knowing them, it's probably some DRM issue.

On the bright side, the announcement was in this really good trailer.

Oh my gosh. I'm on a major nostalgia trip right now. Cliff Johnson put up free downloadable versions of a bunch of his old games. I'm playing the heck out of At the Carnival right now. It's a suite of puzzles about working at fairgrounds that gets increasingly more morbid as you play it. Or at least, that's how I remember it. XD Let's see how it holds up! Edit: hyper saturated red on a neon blue background. For a wordsearch. This was never a good design choice.

I've been getting a lot of my video game fix by watching Lets Plays at work. XD Particularly the TobyGames ones, because he's hilarious. (Though sometimes frustratingly bad at these games) The videos let me enjoy a game without having to actually play it, and a lot of times it feels like, "Welp, now I don't have to get that game!"
But sometimes it makes me go "D8 I have to get that game so baaaad!" which is how I wound up getting Fallout 3 and why Minecraft seems a little more tempting. XD (Is it available on console? I don't play PC)

Minecraft is also available on the xbox 360, however it is not up to date with the PC version.

Somehow I kept forgetting to join this... so I'll join now. :^D But the main reason I posted... since we're talking about LPs, I figured I'd mention I'm planning on LPing Kingdom Hearts soon. My recording device (a Roxio Game Capture) is in the mail and should be coming next week. I'll post a link or a video in here once I start it.

Yep, Minecraft is on the 360 now. It's not up to date with the PC version, it doesn't let you customize your skin (but it has skins you can choose from), sadly no creative mode, and worlds are smaller. However, it does let you connect with others easier XD I've been tempted to buy it, but I don't really have the money and don't feel like being by myself in it.
---
Lets Plays, I'm going to start doing some soon with my friend. The first game is going to be Borderlands 2, then we'll probably do Halo 4 later. There may be some others thrown in there, but not sure.

They don't drop the F-bomb a lot, do they? I'm not prudish about swearing or anything, but in a Lets Play, where the player is going to be dealing with a lot of difficult gaming moments, it's really annoying to have to sit through two or three minutes of solid cursing. It's the reason I can't watch Pewdiepie, even though I know he's really popular. (And the reason I really like Tobuscus, because he keeps the language toned-down.) Also, I wound up getting Minecraft on my tablet because it was only $7. XD I know it's like a super-light version of the actual game, but I figure I can slake my interest with a cheaper version. Plus I only have a PS3, so this is sort of my only option, haha. I soon learned you need to put a LOT of torches in your house or else it will be chock full of SO MANY ZOMBIES.

I was surprised how far behind the portable Minecraft is XD I came out ages ago, but only got some bigger updates a while ago, and it's still way behind XD I always thought it was semi up to date.

They do curse, however it's not like they explode into minutes of straight cursing from frustration. They kind of just go off tangent and curse a bit idly in conversation. EDIT: Make that curse often in idle conversation. I was watching a few yesterday with your concerns noted and noticed it a bit more. In other news, I got the ratchet and clank collection and the sly cooper thieves in time demo that comes with it.

Yeah, okay, I should probably join this.
Been terrible about keeping up with gaming news lately though, and what I'm most curious about at the moment is the upcoming announcement about something related to the FFXIII universe, because I'm one of the only people who cares about the possibility of an XIII-3. xD I think I've hit this point where there are too many games that look interesting for me to keep up with, and I just want to sit around and draw fanart of the ones I already have, and to indulge in modern Final Fantasy.
In other news, hey, I'm a longtime Nintendo supporter and a huge Zelda fan.

Finished Mass Effect 2 earlier today. That's, I believe, the newest game I've completed to date, and it barely even runs on my computer.

So I bought both the Kirby 20th anniversary dream collection and borderlands 2 at the same time. Was a bit of a funny moment XD. Also, WARNING: LARGE AMOUNT OF TEXT INBOUND ----------------------------------------------------------- I've yet to play the kirby anniversary game, but it definitely is a good game to pick up if you love the kirby series. It comes with
-The game, which has Kirby's dream land, Kirby's adventure, Kirby's dream land 2, Kirby super star, Kirby's Dream land 3, and Kirby 64: The Crystal shards on it.
The game also has a museum section which shows all of the kirby titles ever released, along with the box art, a video talking a bit about the game, and a small thing that says what major events happened in the same year.
And, if you've played Return to Dreamland, there are 6 new challenge stages to play. Also, the museum section has 3 episodes of kirby: right back at ya!, which was the show that used to be on 4kids (I think).
- Moving off of the game is a soundtrack CD with 45 tracks from various kirby games, and 2 or 3 exclusive remixes/arrangements.
-And finally, there's a book included which gives insider info on the various kirby games, and how each new idea introduced came to be. It was a very good read.
I'm not sure if there is a normal edition with only the game and not the soundtrack cd and book though. ----------------- Moving on from kirby, borderlands 2. My goodness. This game is a VERY good sequel, and I haven't even done everything yet. If you loved the first one, pick this game up. Gearbox said in an interview at some point that they were going to make sure the story was a lot better and enticing than in the first game. They did not lie. The villain is always up in your face through the echo communicator, and gives you incentive to take him down.
Also, the gameplay hasn't changed too much, but they've added a few changes here and there to make everything feel fresh. For starters, the gun brands state more about what the gun does. Like, a jacobs gun dishes out damage, while a tediore (I think) gun is cheap, and when you reload it, you simply toss the gun like a grenade, and a new one re-spawns in your hand. Speaking of respawning, the new-U stations have some dialouge when they respawn you.
And speaking of the new-u stations. They've changed character customization around a bit. You can find skins as rare loot sometimes and unlock new heads, which are hair styles and such, along with new color combinations for your character. You're also able to send items between characters with a new system.
That's pretty much all I have to say about borderlands 2. If you liked the first game, get this one.
