I'm probably missing some titles. The only one that's up there that I don't care too much for is assassin's creed. The one i'm looking forward to the most is sly. Really? Assassin's Creed is the one I'm looking forward to most. Hopefully I can get a job soon so I can buy something to play it on. I'm primarily a retro gamer, mostly out of financial practicality, as I'm currently more-or-less broke. I'd like to have a 360, PS3 and brand new gaming laptop so I could play all the latest games, I just don't have enough money to buy more than a couple used Gamecube titles at GameStop at a time. ...actually, scratch the PS3, not sure I want one of those. Has Sony had any good exclusive titles since the PS2 days?

Get a PS2, there are far more PS and PS2 gems out there than there are worthwhile PS3 titles.

:3 Actually, I kinda' like the PS3. I use it for Netflix and I don't have to pay an additional monthly subscription like Xbox requires. (I'm sorry, I'm already paying the $8/mo for Netflix, there is NO reason I should have to buy a Live Gold account on top of that) Plus, the PSN Plus account is quite nice, especially if you don't keep up with all the latest games. There are 12 games to download for free, and each month they change out 3 of the games. So far I've been able to play Infamous 2, Saints Row 2, Little Big Planet 2, The Walking Dead Eps 1 & 2, and Rachet & Clank All for One. There are other games, though I'm not as interested in those. For $5/mo, it's pretty good if you don't have to play all the latest games immediately. I've had it for a month, and it's already paid for itself. YMMV, but I like it a lot. Oh, and PS has God of War as an exclusive, and I have to admit the insane violence is a bit of a guilty pleasure. XDD

Has Sony had any good exclusive titles since the PS2 days? Well, I tried playing brotherhood, and I couldn't get into it at all. I didn't feel immersed in the story or anything. That was the first and only assassin's creed game i've tried playing. As for Ps3 titles, it depends on what you're into really. Playstation has Sly cooper (which i;ve made blatantly obvious is my favorite game series ever during my time in this forum), Ratchet and clank, and little big planet if you're into platformers. I'm not sure what genre Uncharted and Infamous are, as I've never played them, but i've heard they're pretty good. Not to mention they're made by naughty dog and sucker punch respectively. And they've got a smash bros esque game coming out soon.

I ran through Assassin's Creeed 1, 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations in the span of about 2 months or so XD
I still have Brotherhood actually... But I only have it so I can finish the DLC I got for it >.> Don't want to waste the couple of dollars I paid for that XD

I tried a demo of an Uncharted game once. From what I could see, I think the genre is "cutscene". The Sony Smash Bros thing doesn't really grab me simply because, eh, a mascot fighter really relies on memorable mascots, and aside from Jak & Daxter(who to the best of my knowledge don't have a game for PS3), Sly Cooper, and the Sackboy, there's really not any other memorable Sony mascots. Of these Jak is probably the closest to Mario in terms of memorability and brand recognition, and even he doesn't really come close.

Of these Jak is probably the closest to Mario in terms of memorability and brand recognition, and even he doesn't really come close. Well, about jak and daxter not having a ps3 sequel, here is a rather interesting article regarding that. www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/02/06/naughty-dog-almost-made-a-new-jak-and-daxter.aspxAs for a smash bros game, I think it's more about fan appeal than about who has more memorable mascots. Superbot has made it clear through not only what they've said in interviews, but also through gameplay shown that this is a game for the fans. Besides, it is a really good market opportunity when you think about it. Guy 1 has played the jak series and wants to play as his favorite hero in really long named sony fighter game. Along the way, he starts playing as other characters and begins to look into their history and then begins buying the games, becoming a fan of them. I remember I had only played mario, pokemon, and kirby when I first played brawl. Since then i've picked up pikmin, zelda, and kid icarus.

Got a used joystick from a yardsale today. Everything seems to work except the x and y axes on the stick itself. I wonder if that's something I can get fixed at Radio Shack or somewhere...

Yeah, I tried the first Assassin's Creed but I couldn't get into it. I just really dislike any sort of stealth gameplay; I'd much rather be able to climb buildings and just crazy-kill everything.
Maybe that's why I like Infamous. XD It's got that fun climbing-buildings element like AC, but you can totally just run-and-gun. I think it's technically in the action genre, even though you spend a lot of time aiming your electricity like a shooter.
I tried a demo of Uncharted, and it's got those action-climby elements like Infamous, but it also requires shooting a gun and being able to use cover. I'm TERRIBLE at that. Like, REALLY terrible. Couldn't get past the shooting element in the demo at ALL. XDDD So that's why I haven't picked up Uncharted either.

This fall is going to be a games-a-thon. Sly cooper thieves in time Borderlands 2 Playstation all-stars battle royale Kirby's 20th anniversary game Assassin's creed I'm probably missing some titles. The only one that's up there that I don't care too much for is assassin's creed. The one i'm looking forward to the most is sly. One game I wanted to talk about a bit was Playstation Allstars battle royale. At first I was hesitant, because the game didn't look like it had too much depth. But then I saw this. If any of you have played the Jak trilogy, then you'd see how much care and effort went into making his moveset. Not to mention the models look like they've jumped right out of Jak 3 with a little bit of polishing. So now I'm looking forward to this game a lot. I do miss the original J&D games. So much fun! And if I recall, I'm still stuck on one mission in Jak II, Hero Mode. Kinda wish ND still continued this series. Even with Bob Rafei gone they could have still continued, but with a new character designer! Instead, some other companies made squeals and prequels. J&D The Lost Frontier was a complete flop. 8I (Daxter was good though.) Anyways, they did an excellent job on Jak's movements! (Kinda want to buy this game now.) Oh light Jak WHY ARE YOU AWESOME? And I'm mostly looking forward to Assassin's Creed III. Already ordered my Freedom Edition copy. I've heard some rumors though that this game has been delayed. It's release date is still telling me it's 31st October. Hmmm... Anyone know any info on this?

If you're getting it on console (like I am!) then I think you're fine. So many new games coming out this fall I fancy. Pokemon Black & White 2, Assassin's Creed, and Resident Evil 6- oh man, Resi 6, we're always looking for new co-op games and really enjoyed 5 as a co-op endevour, so that's probably top of my list.
