Sorry to ask, but may I have a custom title? I was thinking about "Assassina", for Assassin's creed! ...or is it too cheesy? .__. Say the creed first. An assassin is sworn to valor! His heart knows only virtue! His blade defends the helpless! His might upholds the weak! His word speaks only truth! His wrath undoes the wicked! ...no wait, that's a whole 'nother creed, i'n't? I play games sometimes a lot, so I guess I'll join.

I'd love to join this club. C: I've played quite a bit recently.
I tried Silent Hill: Downpour but found the combat so incredibly uncomfortable that I just couldn't bother to carry it on. Silent Hill games aren't known for great combat, sure, but this game actively encourages you to engage in it, and tells you this character is a hardened criminal capable of using weapons well. And then he's useless! Puh.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is from 2010 or something but I've been playing that through too. It seems to be the opposite situation- I enjoy the combat and gameplay, even though the platforming's quite simple, but I'm not sold on the characters, and the story seems to jump around and feel quite rushed, particularly towards the end. I only have a couple more chapters of it to go though.
Surprisingly for me my favourite game at the moment is on my mobile phone, a sim game from Kairosoft, experts in the time-eating sim management genre. This one, World Cruise Story, sees you building and running a tour cruise boat, and it's actually pretty addictive. <3
What're you guys playing?

I just picked up Fallout: New Vegas because the Game of the year edition is pretty cheap now, and I really enjoyed Fallout 3.
Recently I loved a weird little game called Deadly Premonition. It's a really quirky, Twin Peaks style survival horror. It has some gameplay issues but it's just so endearing.
I'm also anticipating the release of Borderlands 2 next month. I actually pre-ordered it, which I never ever do.

I absolutely loved Deadly Premonition when it came out. It had gotten some buzz online for being so strange, and was getting perfect scores here and horrific scores there, so I had to try it. Thoroughly enjoyable, I found myself slowing down in those long, long drives to hear the main character chattering away about old movies. But it was essentially Twin Peaks through a Japanese filter- the original trailer, when it was called Rainy Woods, shows that link even more blatantly I think. New Vegas is one of the games in my ever-growing backlog of things to complete. I get distracted from one game too easily D:

This fall is going to be a games-a-thon. Sly cooper thieves in time Borderlands 2 Playstation all-stars battle royale Kirby's 20th anniversary game Assassin's creed I'm probably missing some titles. The only one that's up there that I don't care too much for is assassin's creed. The one i'm looking forward to the most is sly.
One game I wanted to talk about a bit was Playstation Allstars battle royale. At first I was hesitant, because the game didn't look like it had too much depth. But then I saw this.
If any of you have played the Jak trilogy, then you'd see how much care and effort went into making his moveset. Not to mention the models look like they've jumped right out of Jak 3 with a little bit of polishing. So now I'm looking forward to this game a lot.

I'm currently playing like five games I need to finish.
Okami, which you guys have probably heard of. If not, it's the really pretty game for the Wii and I mean it's really pretty, probably one of the best games for the Wii out there, the storyline and the game play and the graphics it's all so wow.
For the DS, I'm playing Rune Factory 3, my first game like that ever, and it's super fun and I'm almost done with the main storyline. It was really hard to decide who to marry and I'm probably going to play it over until I've married every girl once because I love all the girls, I love all the characters, they are so good and it's a really fun game.
I'm also play The World Ends With You for the DS, don't play it, it will hurt your soul. The storyline is amazing, the game play is really good even though it makes me want to scream sometimes, it's just an amazing game, but it's really hard to find.
For the x box I'm playing Dragon Age II, I really love it because it's like a chose your own adventure I love choosing my own adventure! Expect I'm really bad at making everything end ok and my life is pretty much a failure but it's still really fun.
And Halo 3 because I finally got my brother to let me play it, I prefer Call of Duty's game play but the plot is nice and I'm liking it.
I also started and never finished Final Fantasy 13 because I'm a loser, but I need to finish it because I know it gets a lot of hate but I really love it. It's my first Final Fantasy game though so I'm probably not the best judge, I know it's really linear comparatively.
And that's what's going on in the Maddy video game world.

Lately I seem to be into the immense replay value of old games. XD Like, games I haven't played in several years. Like, games on the GBC and N64. It's fun because you remember just enough that you remember how to play, but not enough that you remember all the little details, and then you notice these things and go "oh yeah!"/"hey, I never noticed that before!". Fun times! (I also seem to be about 20x better at them generally, so that's fun too )
