*sigh* My 2nd and 4th (collab) articles were rejected today, within 30 minutes of each other. I'm still waiting on the 3rd article, and I resubmitted my 1st collab article on the 6th. I worked so hard on these.  I'm also working on a comic but I'm not sure if the art is good enough, or if I'll finish in time. Good luck with your entries. Maybe it's a good sign that you haven't heard back on one of them yet? I'm not sure how it works xD. But they're not picky at all about art for the comics. |

Oh wow, haven't submitted anything to the NT since February. owo; I was thinking of skipping this issue, but the guilt of letting my readers down got to me, and I couldn't pass this opportunity to celebrate my five years on Neopets. XD So...

Aw, congrats guys!!
I haven't had a response yet, good or bad. It got held over a few weeks ago, and if it was going to be in at all it would definitely be for the 550th as it was 550th specific.
Have they finished sending out the yes' yet, does anyone think? Will I at least get a rejection neomail rather than nothing?

Hehe, I submitted about a million weeks ago so I am a bit worried about being overlooked (: I was trying to wait until closer to the date to submit, but I got too excited and couldn't wait any longer ^^; I think I ended up submitting about 10-11 weeks ago. Even if I am overlooked or rejected though, there's always next time!

Well, has anyone who submitted a comic gotten a mail back yet? maybe they just haven't gotten to comics yet? I got mine held over like 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. And sometimes they don't reply until thurs or fri, I hear

It would kind of make sense if they did it a category at a time. I got mine first thing Monday morning and so did a number of others, so I guess they did short stories first, and now they've moved on to articles...?

Yeah, they usually do stories first, then articles, and finally comics, I think. XP Still waiting for a response on my comic, but I just hope Droplet sees it in time. XD;

And hm, alright. Everything has been rejected now, except my 3rd article, and also the comic I submitted yesterday. 
I'll post one panel of the comic just to see how anyone feels about the art xD This panel isn't very colorful though.
