Honestly, I'm surprised to hear so many people submitting multiple things to this issue (there was a question in a recent Editorial, if I recall). I suppose if it started to get excessive, there'd probably be another Editorial post about it. XD

Haha alright And I don't know about that 2/3rds thing... one of my single articles wasn't so great.

2nd collab submitted, probably a tad late, but I just wanted to get it in there. I'd say both of my collabs are good, solid articles. This one isn't particularly related to the 550th, but I still asked if it could be considered for it. Still waiting to hear back on all 4 of my entries, though. :/ It's nerve wracking, not hearing back. Although it did take this many weeks for all my other articles as well for previous issues.

I got a TMGE today. After showing my comic to my friends and getting some pretty nice comments/suggestions, I made a couple of edits and resubmitted. I worked way too hard on that comic to just give up like that, so here's to hoping it gets in this time. If I get rejected again, well, at least I tried.

Edit: If anyone's curious. I got a reply exactly one week after submitting for all my comics. My first one, I got a reply a week later asking me to remove technology that doesn't exist in neopia from my comic. I resubmitted it and also my 2nd comic that day, and got a reply a week later for both (TMGE for one, and held over for the 2nd one). I got the reply on Wednesday in both cases.

^ If I'm not mistaken, it's very rare to get rejected after a hold-over, so it's a very good sign. =)

@sylvia: Wow, six years... ouch.

Best I can offer is, have you tried a series? If you cooked up, say, a six-parter and got it printed in issue 595, it'd run straight until issue 600, possibly be less likely to be TMGE'd (since they get fewer series than articles or short stories) and sidestep most of the special-issue rush--and if it was rejected, you'd know in time to put together a single-installment entry and try again. That's the best strategy I've got, anyway. >>;

Is this the sixth attempt with the same entry? If so, I'd recommend putting it on the Work Reviews board, see if there isn't something there that might be keeping it back.

My 2nd and 4th (collab) articles were rejected today, within 30 minutes of each other. I'm still waiting on the 3rd article, and I resubmitted my 1st collab article on the 6th. I worked so hard on these. I'm also working on a comic but I'm not sure if the art is good enough, or if I'll finish in time.
