I'm super surprised that there isn't already a thread created for this!
Issue #550 of the Neopian Times is coming up in just five weeks. I always like these threads for the special issues, because then I can get little teasers of what to expect in the issue! =D
So, who's entering?

Hmmm... I'd really like to whip something up for this issue, since it's been close to a year now since I've been published. (Issue 500 was my last, actually.  ) And I have no other writing projects going ATM, so now would be a good time. First, I need to find some actual inspiration. >_> I have so much trouble drawing story inspiration from Neo, TBH. |

I've sketched out a comic idea, I need to finish it soon so I can submit. ^_^

I'm going to start working on some backup entries. Just in case, haha. I've missed this avatar far too many times to place my bets all on one horse, so to speak. It will be mine this year!
And hopefully trophy #30, since my comic collabs keep getting TMGEd. D:

Pretty much quit NT. And I've been too busy with other stuff to fix my goodbye arc. Perhaps if I get around to it, but coincidence it would end up in 550. But I'm not doing anything special.

I'm going to try. I really want the avatar and this year will be my first time trying for it since I didn't start writing for the NT until near the end of 2011. xD My article for the Petpet Appreciation Day issue did get held over last week though.  |

I have a short story that didn't get in last year for 500, so I'm editing it and hopefully I have better luck this year ^_^

As I a) have no idea for a story or an article and b) know that some of my neohomie friends try to make it into this issue, I decided not to add any competition to their entries from my side ;D
But yes, I'm looking forward to the issue.

I'm probably not going to do anything, being that I have a pretty big (non NT related) project on my hands right now. However, I do have an almost-complete series which I might try to get in on time. Probably not, though.

:3 Yup yup, working on one. And by working, I mean "has started a collab thread about it but doesn't actually have a script yet." But it wouldn't be a special issue if I wasn't procrastinating down to the wire. :B I'll probably be sending it in the day before issue #449, knowing me, haha.
