I DID IT! I WROTE 9,000 WORDS IN THE LAST 2 DAYS BUT I DID IT!

Blargh I'm tired. ;__; I keep falling into this really annoying half-sleep state that doesn't make me any more rested or achieve any more wordcount. Rather frustrating, really.

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! To everyone else who's still behind, keep going; you can do it!

Meanwhile, I just passed 49,400 words at 10:50 PM. I don't dare to spend time making a post much longer than that.

EDIT: I DID IT! With thirty minutes to spare! I hope that's the closest I ever come to the deadline. xD;

Congratulations to Nifen and Tashni! And Tamia, you can do it--just keep at it and you'll get there! I know how frustrating it is to write while tired--I can pull it off all at one stretch, but if I have any chance in between to stop and notice how tired I am, everything seems to go slower than normal; that's why I didn't dare pull a second all-nighter yesterday, because I felt it'd just slow me down, so I went to bed early and woke up early instead. But I find that when I'm tired it's almost easier to stop thinking and just pound the keys robotically, which makes me actually get more done than when I'm awake. xD; ...I'm not sure that was helpful. But if I could write approximately 20,000 words over the past two days, I know you can make the last 7k in the time you have left. Keep going; we're all rooting for you!

Congratulations to all the winners! ^__^ In 15 minutes, November will be over for me but what has happened over the past month has been a great experience.

And to those who did not make it, fear not. You guys had the courage to start and set out on this great journey and I'm sure many of you achieved more in terms of novelling than most people do in a lifetime. Good on you all!

I know I'm not going to reach my self imposed challenge on time, but I'm making a 'last minute' effort and write as much as I possibly can. I'm already done the 8th chapter and now working on the 9th.

And congratulations to everyone who have reached the 50k word goal, along with condolences to those who couldn't make it. However, depending on your timezone, you still have some time left, so GO FOR IT!

Grargh. It's official, I have resorted to writing crack that has absolutely nothing to do with the plot of my story. Therefore, I'll reach 50K in the next two hours. Easy. But I won't finish my story, which was my main goal this month.

...I think I'm going to self-impose a NaNo extension for the next week or so, and get this blasted story done. I like it too much to let it rot away in an almost-but-not-quite written state. xD
