PEP TALK FROM LEMONY SNICKET!!!! 8D *hyperventilates* I remember when I was eleven or twelve and sent him a fan-mail, and got an automated response. I was heartbroken.
But OMG!! It feels so good to read his sarcastic letter, even though it's addressed to thousands to people. I might actually be pushed into writing more today. XD

I don't usually read the pep talks until the end, but your reactions to this one made me read it anyway. And it was beautuful. xD I... actually think this might have given me a new burst of motivation to do more than just finish my NaNo.

...Hey guys, random question? If you were writing a fantasy story, what would you address a prince or princess as? Wikipedia tells me that the correct title would be "His/Her Royal Highness," but it seems awkward to me to refer to a character as "Your Royal Highness" over and over again when you're conversing directly with them. I'm fairly sure I've seen other fantasy books just use "Your Highness," which sounds much more natural. >.> What do you think?

"Your Royal Highness" would give you more words.  *shot* I think "Your Highness" would be fine, though. It's your story. ^_^ |

Oh dear. I'm desperately behind on NaNo. S'pose I'll try and hit at least 20k today, preferably 25k. So much. To do. EDIT: Now I'm enjoying myself a little too much. Let's just say my MC is a sixteen year old girl in a tavern full of drunks, murderers, and other shady people, and she needs to buy a flagon of mead and some cider for cooking. Just beat 30k today. Still going for it though. I've switched to typing because there's no way I'll even get close trying to hand write, though discipline is still and issue. I'll make it though, because there's no reason not to! *determined face*

It is bugging me how hard I am finding it to concentrate. >_> Only an hour and a half until midnight and I've still got 700+ more words to go and I'm writing so incredibly distractedly slowly. *smacks self with a book* WRITE, PFA.
I've also got so much plot left with this story I'm almost considering the possibility of doing the second half of it next year. XD;
