((Sorry for the wait. >>; *writes a quick post*))
"Ginz," Sarn mused, "do you fancy a flight?"
Ginz could make a guess on what Sarn was thinking. She had no wings, nor she could cast flying spells, so that would certainly be new for her, but she was excited for it.
"That would be nice," she said simply, and then she smiled.

((Mage Manor Kitchen))
"That's pretty good, you can do details on it. My magic probably works a bit different from yours, but I can tell you that the colder it is, the easier it is to do ice magic." explained Hunter.
"Yeah, I figured as much," said Omni. "I mean, if you're going to make ice in a volcano... it's not gonna work."
"You might also want to start off with less dense stuff, like snow or something."
"Well, this particular kind is just about ice, so I can't do a lot there. Although I'll note that I can make... maybe a gallon and a half of ice at a time, and I can do some general shaping with it, but it gets tricky to do detail. And I can't seem to do it across a wide area, even if I spread it really thin.
"Oh, I can learn different variations of the same kind of magic. Like I can do this, but I'm sure I can learn your method, too. And a lot of the time things will tie into each other. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's like often the same principles might apply, or practice with one can with with control of the other. It's mostly with similar types of magic, though. But yeah, I'll probably have a head start if you teach me."
A slightly-uneasy feeling came over Omni. She wasn't entirely sure if it was her own or if it was from the aura of the Manor. She also wasn't sure what to think of it. However since it was only slight, she decided to continue with what she was going to do, but keep an eye out for anything odd.

((The return of the micro-text!))
Back at the Ninja Dojo, Cat Assassin returned. He would never understand why humans would endulge themselves in alcoholic beverages; Vyt had mentioned to him that it gave the power similar to his catnip, plus some negative side-effects. Not wanting to risk his own health, the cat abstained himself from even trying it.
"I can manage my own, anyway."
At the gate, he nodded at the ninja guarding the area, to which she returned the nodding. "The Superior is still resting, and Vyt-san had not come back as of now," she reported to Cat Assassin.
It was too early for him to determine if Vyt was still in the tavern or had gone to other places, but he had to talk to someone else. "Very well, just tell me if Vyt's returned. I'll be on the training room if you need me."
The ninja politely bowed in obedience as the cat walked passed her. It did not take him much time to find his way to his destination, and there he quickly saw PFA around damaged dummies. Not wanting to surprise her, he made it clear that his presence be known for a few seconds by making his steps a bit heavy enough for her to hear.
"I see you've finally managed to get a good grip on your own katana," Cat Assassin encouraged her, though his face was still expressionless. "Still, have you yet gotten a good grip on your... powers?"
----------------------------------------------------
The strange fog around the Mage Manor began to condense itself into solid form, revealing Vincent and his crew. The light on the sack had mysteriously subsided.
"Circle around, you four. I want you to make sure we've covered the entire area," Vincent commanded his men. They immediately obeyed without any hesitation whatsoever.

He couldn't help it, he grinned as he stepped behind Ginz and picked her up into his arms. Flying by himself was a great joy, but an even greater one was being able to share it with someone else, especially if that person had not yet soared among the clouds.
Night closed swiftly in on them as he raised his golden wings, took two leaping strides and then beat them down, lifting off the ground into a great rush of wind. He turned his body slightly to catch the slight current and then began a steady wing beat, heading in the direction of Mage Manor.
It didn't take long before they were circling closer, Ginz still clutched tightly in Sarn's arms. He wasn't sure if she was overjoyed or terrified, but either way, she was safe and they would soon be landing on the soft lawn of the Manor. Already he could see the light pouring out of the various windows and he longed to reach the warmth and company of his fellow Mages.
Spreading his wings wider to push against the air flow, Sarn managed to slow his flight and circled lower, touching down lightly and placing Ginz gently on the ground. Immediately, instinctively, he knew something was wrong. His entire body was tingling and the music of the Star Dance, so melodious and loud inside his head, had faded to only a slight tinkling, there was a blight, something evil that had stained its beauty. Something wholly unknown.

Before PFA could go for another dummy, the sound of footsteps reached her ears. She glanced toward the door, seeing the familiar figure of her Uncle standing there.
"I see you've finally managed to get a good grip on your own katana," he said to her. "Still, have you yet gotten a good grip on your... powers?"
PFA paused thoughtfully. Uncle was obviously referring to the magical powers she had discovered within herself during that last war between the guilds. The delicate balance of Darkness and Light, the power she inherited from her birth parents. The power of the Yin, and the power of the Yang.
"I'm... getting better," was what she said to Cat Assassin. Sheathing her katana, she added, "I believe there's a lot I've yet to learn, though."
Like offensive skills, she thought to herself. I still haven't figured out anything that isn't defensive.
PFA decided to change the subject. "Say Uncle, do you how long Father will be? He's been at the tavern quite a while now."

"I believe Draco is going to where Vyt was... in any case, I have no tracks for Vyt and I don't know where he is, so it's either follow Draco or no-one. I do not know what those two we were battling are going to do, but if they are not going after Vyt what they do is of no concern to me now." Shoichi picked up the pace, his silvery form gliding through the semiliquid silver spiritscape around him, whorls and sprays of essence fanning outwards in his wake.
"Stay close to me - if you stray too far you may find that you cross over to the physical plane suddenly. You are here only because I brought you over. and it is my presence that keeps you here. I can explain what I have done at some point, but this is not the time." Shoi went silent, keeping a close eye on faint marks on the spiritscape before him, his pace quick and even.

"I'm... getting better. I believe there's a lot I've yet to learn, though."
Even through his cold face, Cat Assassin was a bit sympathetic towards PFA. He was pressuring her on keeping in touch with her newfound powers since the second Guild Wars, and eventually was feeling like he was not helping at all. However, the last few months had him researching on them. He would not let those powerful skills come to waste on an unknowing kid.
In his deep thoughts, Cat Assassin was woken up by PFA's statements. "Say Uncle, do you how long Father will be? He's been at the tavern quite a while now."
"To be honest, I don't know," the cat scratched his head through his messy black hair. "This has been the first time I've been informed about Vyt's stays in the tavern."
"Sorry, PFA... As long as you haven't been able to hone your powers, I'm afraid I'll have to force it up on you one last time."
Picking up the remains of the dummies, Cat Assassin threw them on a corner and flicked his fingers. In an instant, new dummies popped out from the ceiling, the floor and the walls. "We both do not know what your bloodline from Vyt can even do. It's such pitiful if you won't be able to find out what powers you can really have..."
Once again, the cat turned his head towards PFA, bearing an even serious face. "... Do you want to talk to your real parents about it?"
The image of Subila the Yin and Vyt the Yang came into his mind.
----------------------------------------------------
Vincent's mantle began to flow with the suddenly-blowing wind around, immediately taking his attention towards some people gracefully dropping from the sky. Their clothes seem to have told him enough; they were mages in his eyes.
"Ahh, welcome," he politely bowed. "I must warn you not to get close to the Manor. It's... in our way."

Dragus stops on a hill overlooking Mage Manor.
"We may want to hurry. There is something not right here."
He starts to run again.

Draco continues to run to try and catch up with Vyt. He hears his bombs go off, and hopes it slowed some people down from chasing after.971

((Sorry, Draco. Wasn't really ignoring your character. I'm just giving time for Vincent to move.))
The path took Vyt and Dragus to a hill near the Mage Manor. Dragus immediately climbed to the top and watched the direction of the Manor. Something in his worried face told Vyt that they might have been too late, and that something wrong was going to happen.
"Wait! Haven't you forgotten about the Manor's special defense-"
But before the catboy could warn the knight, Dragus immediately took off. "... Is he new to this place?"

Dragus continues to run, but faintly hears some of the words that left Vyt's mouth. "Special defense?" He slows down in his speed, not wanting to find out what kind of defense a mage's home could be.
((No problem with the lack of "ignoring" my characters. Right now All I can think of is to run right now anyhow... So that isn't that special to keep posting again and again:P))

" Rose, I believe they may be heading to the Mage Manor. I've heard of it, but never been. I don't know where it is exactly." Midknight stated. " But Cyborg does he was a mage before." Rose explained, " So as long as we find him, we can work together to get to the manor, or just follow him in shadow form, and then we can get the object for the King to look at and do what he sees best." -------------------------------- Meanwhile, Cyborg and Esme were walking, only to stop when they heard some explosions. " Traps, someone must have set them off. Lucky for us." Esme declared. " Yes, but that means enemies could be nearby." Cyborg replied grabbing his crossbow. They continued walking. ------------------------------ " So, we follow Draco." Rayce stated, before adding. " I bet it's quite complicated. So if I may ask, are you a spirit of the dead? Or some other sort of being?"

((Back of the Tavern by the Cliff))
"Nice shot!" Zylaa turned from the unconscious salesman to see Goosh approaching along the path. "Might wanna keep that thing around, what with today's events."
"Oh?"
"I just talked to the barman. Apparently some miners found something strange underground--he called it a bag of luck. They were showing it off and taunting Vyt, and then there was a shooting, but no one was hurt.
Then just about everyone left to go after either that bag or someone else who was chasing it, though you probably heard all that noise." Zylaa contemplated this as she watched Goosh stash the salesman, then sauntered over to casually relieve the man of all the spare change he had in his pockets. It wasn't much, maybe enough for a decent meal. And of course now she had the frying pan to cook the decent meal. Heh.
"This could be a gem situation all over again. I'm all for piracy, but not so much world-ending conflicts. Let's track that thing down and figure out a safe way to get rid of it, alright?"
"I dunno, I missed the last world-ending conflict. Most of it, anyway. But you probably have a point." Zylaa thought. "Would 'getting rid of it' involve selling it for an enormous profit? Because I am all in favor of that. But if it's as dangerous as you say..." she paused and thought again. "Let's go talk to Ikkin or Kat. They can deal with whatever comes our way. They should be at Mage Manor about now..."

"I... see," PFA said in response to her Uncle, who did not know how long her Father would be. "I hope he comes back soon, though. It's starting to get late."
After that, Uncle went back to the topic of her powers. "We both do not know what your bloodline from Vyt can even do. It's such pitiful if you won't be able to find out what powers you can really have..." Turning to PFA, he added, "... Do you want to talk to your real parents about it?"
"You can... do that?" was PFA's immediate reaction. She hadn't seen her real parents since she first discovered her powers. She figured they were too busy doing spirit things or whatever to bother with the mortal world. Nonetheless... "It would be really useful, I suppose... they'd know a lot more about it than the Mages have been able to tell me..."

Cat Assassin began to search for something in his coat. "Vyt had chosen me as his 'soul bracer' a long time ago, while I was on my own world. It was then that I first met your mother Subila... Basically, a 'soul bracer' means the only person who has a direct connection with the Yin-Yang worlds beside the one who has the souls. Think of it like a buddy system..."
His hand grasped what he needed, and he pulled it out to show PFA. His object was a scroll tied by silvery thread around its sides. "I usually use this scroll to call on Vyt's halves and talk about his condition and journey back then, but ever since getting exiled to this world with Vyt himself, I saw no more further use of it..."
"However, there's a very big risk at using this scroll."
As soon as he placed the scroll on the ground, Cat Assassin immediately assumed his fighting stance. "As this scroll can recall the halves of my buddy, in the process it will show the souls of others, good and evil. Of course, some of them will be lusting for blood, and will attack anyone around the scroll. It's like my personalized training scroll, but it's never fun fighting ethereal beings."
"... Your katana will be useless," he warned PFA before continuing. "If you know how to release focused energy like I and Vyt can do, then you'll stand a chance."

PFA didn't quite understand everything her Uncle had said about this 'soul bracer' thing, but something told her she would be finding out soon enough. Especially as he set the scroll on the ground and took up a fighting stance.
"Your katana will be useless," he told her. "If you know how to release focused energy like I and Vyt can do, then you'll stand a chance."
Upon hearing this, PFA frowned. "But Uncle, I... I've never learned how to use focused energy. Neither you nor Father have told me much about it..." She paused thoughtfully, staring at her feet. Her gaze soon shifted to her hand, which was now glowing faintly with a mix of Light and Darkness magic. "But perhaps...?"
