Rain sighed worriedly. "I... I guess you're right, ma'am. I can head on out.. now.. so.." She got up out of her chair and stretched. "I can read some more. I never have enough time." The girl looked around the room then silently padded out of the room to go to her own, courtesy of her ninja training.

((Time to speed things up))
The next day it was still raining, not hard, as it had been the night before, but still wet and soggy.
This didn't help the vampire assassin's mood at all. "First person to tick me off gets a one-way trip to the bottom of the lake." She growled to Shiloh, who opened one eye, meowed sleepily, and went back to sleep. His mistress was grumpy when it rained and when it was cold, because of her vampire line's personality and blood.
Fenrix dressed sluggishly in a black tank top and black shorts, she left her shoes off, it was too muggy to wear heavy clothing. She did however, put her Shao Guos on her back. She may have felt comfortable wearing less clothing and protection, but she was not so stupid as to walk around without her weaponry.

Fenrix looked out the window at Cyborg. "Why're you standing outside, you'll rust. Get in here you idiot." She smiled and held the door open for him. "Have you eaten yet?" She shut the door and made her way to the fridge, grabbing an apple and a piece of day old pizza. When she took a bite out of it and pulled it away from her mouth, fangs marks were evident.

Fenrix shrugged and hopped up on the table. "Chairs are overrated." She crossed her legs and hunched over, looking down as Shiloh wandered in, yawning and purring. "Is that stupid cat boy up yet?" He was refering to Vyt. "I'd like not to deal with him this early in the morning." He hopped on Cyborg's shoulder. "Hello Cyborg."

Hades, having stayed up most of the night working with the computer systems, walked into the kitchen ((I assume that's where you guys are, anyway)) with a slightly tired look. Not as much as most humans would have, but some. "Hey, Fenrix, Cyborg, Shiloh." He sat down in a corner, watching the others. Though he didn't seem very tired, he was actually only awake because of his various mechanical parts.
((Fine, Fen. I posted. Not a very good post, but still a post.))

She looked up at the wooden, cracking door, eyeing it thoughtfully. She stood there, hands folded behind her back, her hair blowing across her face. She couldn't stand there forever. Xiv shrugged, raised one hand, and began knocking on the door.
Knock knock knock. No reply. She paused. One last chance to back out.
Pssht, no. I need the money way too bad.

Fenrix grunted a reply to Hades. "Oh look, you're awake. What's up smiley?" Sarcasm dripped from her voice. But she was interupted by the knock on the door. "Finally, someone knocks on the door." She hopped off the table and made her way down the hall to the foyer, The heavy metal doors swung open. "Hello, how can the mercenaries be of service?"

"Yes, I'm awake. Whyever should I not be?" Hades wasn't in the mood for sarcasm. It was rather fun to use, but not when you're too tired to appreciate it. Echoes, knocks on the door, came down the hall, and Fenrix left, presumably to answer them. Good, Hades thought, leaning his head agaist the wall. I won't need to go see who it is. Staying awake through sheer will was not the most fun thing to do with new recruits around. Hades sighed. This was going to be a long day...

The vampress smiled. "No, I'm not in charge, She's...er...busy." She stepped out the door and shut it silently behind her. "Your name?" Fenrix supposed she could read the newcomer's mind to find out, but she was tired. It made her powers sluggish.

"First off, if you ever try to do that again," Xivion said sternly, "I will kill you." Her green eyes bored into Fen's. "I noticed," she said simply, gesturing towards Fen's mouth. "I know what you are. Anyway." Xivion crossed her arms. "My name is Xivion Shade. And I-" She reached into her belt, fingering. She pulled out a flat golden coin, balanced it on her thumb, and deftly flicked up into the air. It spun, flickering a little in the pale morning light, then landed easily in her palm. Xivion held it up. "-I am after this."
