Dum could only smile pathetically as a reaction to Fenrix's words. He then dove right into the wall of fire standing between him and the escaping Takehiko, and the red flames quickly caught up with his clothes. Much faster was the stinging pain coming from their scorching contact entering inside his mind.
Still, Dum continued running. And running. And running.
He had nothing to lose. Everything was already taken to him years ago.
Even his right to live.
"Uuuuaaarrggghhh!!!" Dum screamed at the top of his lungs, expending his last breath before he lost the blurry sight of Takehiko.
From the dead body of Corporal Dum Tuall came a conflicting explosion of green smoke and orange flames spreading rapidly around the room.

Hades ducked.
Or, more accurately, he half-collapsed, half-sat. "Fenrix?" he said, looking up at her. "I'm probably going to fall unconscious soon, whether I like it or not. Try not to let everything go crazy while I'm not watching." So saying, he leaned back against the wall and tried to stay awake. Tried. Not very succesfully, seeing as about the time Dum Tuall died in a fiery explosion of doom, he sort of fell unconscious. As he predicted.
However, not as he predicted, he sort of slumped over to the side, ending up against Fenrix's leg. Which, though alright for him, pinned Fenrix in place rather nicely. Assuming she didn't move him, of course. Which she probaly would. Eventually. Not that Hades was aware of any of these events, of course. He was unconscious, after all. And that precludes being aware of your surroundings, most of the time.

Arista finally made it out to where she had left the deer. None of them were there, of course, so she just found a place to shift into a mouse, curl up and wait for the others to come out. She didn't have a clue of what was happening inside. She thought about sending one of the critters inside to find out, but pushed the thought out of her mind.
Most of the spiders and cats left her alone as soon as she was outside. The rats and mice stayed with her and lay down beside her to keep her company.

" So are we helping them or not?" Rose, who had been standing there silently, asked of the mercs.
" Good question." Cyborg added.
