" Shiloh you should calm down. We wouldn't want you to kill him right away." Cyborg said.

Hades stared at Vyt. "Regeneration? That can be dealt with." He squeezed Vyt's shoulder, releasing electricity into him. Not enough to kill, but more than enough to hurt.
Surges of electricity took over Vyt's body, sending the half-feline into a massive shock. Vyt could not help but scream in pain as he was being rendered helpless in the hands of the what he started to call 'silver freak'. Even his physical state could do nothing to help.
"That's enough!" Elycien snapped. "Both of you, stop it. Vyt, as you can see, it's not really a good idea to start insulting us as soon as you step into the guild. I advise you stop before you go too far and get yourself killed. Pointless fighting like this is only a waste of energy. If you want us to accept you as a mercenary," she added to Vyt, "you'd better prove it with more than tough talking. And it looks like you'll get the chance for that pretty soon."
Hades let go of Vyt as soon as he realized the situation getting almost out of hand.
"If you insult me again, you'll get worse."
Both of them ended up leaning against the walls of the room. Still shaking from the attack, Vyt tried to get rid of the shock that still remained. He could not help but wonder if he really can keep up with the mercenaries now that he had experienced falling at the hands of one of them. Still retaining his 'cocky confidence', Vyt stood up with a smirk and said:
"Now that's better. Soon, I WILL show you all why I got here in the first place-"
Vyt was interrupted by something he had just noticed. The half-feline could sense a life form from behind the door. Whoever or whatever it is, it worried him. After all, he is part of the group now; he had to be alert.
"... I think I'm not the only one who had been hiding all along", Vyt noted the group.

"... I think I'm not the only onewho had been hiding here all along."
Arista's instincts flared. Someone had noticed her. Now what was she going to do? She crouched lower, if that was even possible.
"I'll just stay hidden and observe." she whispered to herself. She backed a few mouse steps away from the edge of the door. Looking around, she took in the hiding places that she might be able to occupy if it came to that.

" Who else is hiding?" Cyborg asked. " Well so are Vyt, Fenrix or I allowed to join?"

"Well so are Vyt, Fenrix or I allowed to join?" Cyborg asked.
Rain stretched up from her chair and flicked away her malcontent with the pointless violence. "Due to the hodgepodge nature of the Mercenaries, I'm sure that you WILL be allowed to join. We don't discriminate, not even against money types, as long as they're not obsolete. We do have a few, um, empty bunks as of late. So if we all could get this settled, I can balance the accounts and get everything nice and tidied up..." She trailed off a smile on her face.
Above, the sky began to let loose what it had been holding back. The dog days were over.

" Ok. Sounds good. What do you mean by empty bunks? Did someone die?" Cyborg asked.

"Ok. Sounds good. What do you mean by empty bunks? Did someone die?" Cyborg queried.
"Oh, maybe one or two did. But several defected to one of those OTHER guilds and one decided to make a league of farmers, by the reasoning that food would be hard to come by sooner or later.. Nothing major, you know, but either way, it's understandable. Missions haven't been pouring in the way they used to. Perhaps messengers conked out from the heat on the way here." Rain shrugged. "Anyway, the barracks aren't that hard to find. Out the door, down the hall to the four way intersection, turn to the right, and you can pick from any of the unoccupied rooms. Do any of you have objections?" She looked up and around at the other mercenaries and bit her lip slightly.

"Oh, sheesh," Rain muttered. "He may be unexcusably rude, but we're mercenaries, capiche? If his skills are good, I'm not sure we can do too much."

Fenrix shrugged. "I could care less if he stays, but if he does. He better shape up that attitude or I'll make sure to use him as a target." She smiled to Rain. "Thank you for telling us where the rooms are, do we share rooms, or is it two in a room?" She waved a hand warningly at Shiloh, who was considering taking a bite out of Vyt's leg. "Leave him alone. Like it or not, he's part of the guild now."
The shift in the air warned her of Arista's hiding place. "Y'know, I think I might be getting a little annoyed with all of the hiding recruits. Isn't bravery and courage the point of being a mercenary? It seems to me the sights are a little lower." She stalked her way over to the hiding place. "It's alright, if you haven't noticed, we haven't killed anyone..yet anyways."

Still being surrounded by thoughts of his 'large ego', Vyt simply ignored his fellow mercenaries' statements about him. It really was his fault he acted that way towards them, but he wasn't thinking they'd rub his attitude on him. Vyt did kick Shiloh off his leg, though. He wouldn't accept someone more annoying than him.
Fenrix started to look around, as if noticing something. Her mouth opened as she started walking towards the door. "Y'know, I think I might be getting a little annoyed with all of the hiding recruits. Isn't bravery and courage the point of being a mercenary? It seems to me the sights are a little lower. It's alright, if you haven't noticed, we haven't killed anyone..yet anyways", she said.
Judging by her actions, Vyt thought she had noticed the same being behind the door. "Finally, someone ELSE noticed", he sighed as he joined Fenrix.

" Where is this other hiding hopeful?" Cyborg asked. Isn't bravery and courage the point of being a mercenary? " At least I was going to go in the front door and not hide." he added.

Fenrix smiled. "Thank you for telling us where the rooms are, do we share rooms, or is it two in a room?"
Rain put her hands in her pockets. "Mostly we stay singly in rooms. Sharing rooms has happened, but as you can see, tensions flare quickly and sleep is very important part of keeping your mood at decent levels. I should know," she laughed, "I've done some pretty stupid things staying up late. The morning after, I was rather put out."

"Correction, you came in through the back door," Elycien told Cyborg mildly. She glanced outside; it was getting dark. "It seems to be getting late. I suggest we get to bed... I don't have a good feeling about tomorrow, and we'll probably need the rest. At the very least... training begins tomorrow, after all."

"Training begins for you new ones, anyway. It continues for us," Hades said. For all that he could try and find whoever else was hiding, he was fed up with all this. "And I, for one, am going back to my room to continue working with the computers." Without waiting for anyone to reply, he strode off, heading for his room.
