((Oops. XD Ignore my last post then. It was just an excuse to not post only-OoC anyway))
"Could you stop calling me that?" Ikkin asked with a sigh as she summoned up a wind strong enough to sail the White Weewoo away from the scene of the crime at a good clip. "I've got a name, you know. Anyway, you think we'll get any of that... what do you pirates call it... booty... from this whole exercise? Besides the ship, of course."
Ikkin continued to manipulate the wind so it would be perfectly behind them. She wanted to get to Brightvale as fast as she could; going weaponless for any longer than necessary would be a bad idea, considering the circumstances.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Seeing that the ship was now really truly theirs, Kat put a stop to all the lightning overhead, giving way toa clear, almost cloudless sky.
"No rain, Cap'n Rider, and if there be rain I'll be ready for it." She grinned, glowing a light shade of purple for a few seconds. As it ebbed away, she felt a little better than she had been a moment ago.
Kat tossed her braid back and asked, "So, anything else I can do? But cut me some slack, I just made a storm."[/shadow]

Keng was safely hidden behind the crates, and well aware of their movement over the waters which, as far as she could tell, was increasing at an unaturally fast rate. But then again, who was she to say something was unatural? She now proceeded to wonder if hiding had been the best course of action. Being discovered could prove a dangerous situation for her, but then again revealing herself would probably be just as awkward. As she pondered, she also wondered how long it would be before her decision was made for her.
((feel free to find me now.))

Having finished her task of summoning up a wind to propel the pirate ship forward as quickly as possible (and hopefully escape retribution from the authorities), Ikkin walked around the deck of the ship, taking in her new surroundings. She wasn't used to being on the water - as a knight, she'd mostly kept herself firmly on solid ground, but considering her ability to fly away if necesary, she was never very worried at sea. Trying to walk around, on the other hand, was something else, and she tended to float whenever she needed to get anywhere quickly.
There was no need to be fast right now, however, so Ikkin kind of stumbled along on the deck, stopping to catch her balance on a crate. It was then that she caught a flicker of motion out of the corner of her eye - there was something behind those crates.
"Hey, Cap'n," Ikkin called to Rider. She figured Rider was more in charge than anyone else around here. "There's someone behind these crates... and it looks a bit like... a werewolf?" She'd never seen a werewolf quite like this one before, and she didn't know what to make of it.
"Who are you?" she asked the wolf.

((actually, I'm human right now, but I suppose this will make things more interesting))
Keng hadn't been paying attention, and was quite surprised to be caught off guard. Must be the sea dulling my senses. she concluded in her mind. "Uhh.." she began, or rather delayed beggining. "err.." she continued to delay, then became acutely aware that 'err' sounded and awful lot like a 'grr' while in this form, and she hastened to mend any missgivings it might of given. "Name's Keng." she responed. "I.. uhh.. must have.. err.." gah! there she went again with the 'err'ing "Must have fallen asleep or, stumbled, or uhh, something." she concocted, rather clumsily.

((You said you'd transformed in your last post; figured you still were. ^_^;; ))
Ikkin looked at Keng, more amused than worried. The werewolf was trying to make excuses - and despite the fact that she wasn't doing a very good job with it, the fact that she was trying to reason with them rather than attack strongly suggested that she didn't mean to do them any harm. Besides, Keng's obvious attempts to keep herself from sounding like she was growling was pretty funny.
"Stumbled in... right..." Ikkin said, a bit sarcastically. She changed her tone to a more friendly one as she continued. "Well, tell me, were you with the former crew of this here boat? There's been a bit of a... changing of the guard around here, you could say, but as long as you don't mind that, we should get along fine. Can't say that for the others, though; I'd imagine some of them would be a bit more superstitious about werewolves than I am..."

"No. Actually..." she trailed off and reached behind her neck... "Oh, uhh, please don't freak out." she asked as she triggered the device that turned her back into a human. It was a rapid transformation, that you'd miss if you blinked. As the fur cleared and her joints returned to normal, the girl who'd been sweeping the tavern was revealed. "To be honest I wanted out of that bloody tavern, but when I got here with all the fighting and whatnot happening, I wasn't sure what to do."

"The barmaid wanted to be a pirate, hm?" Ikkin asked, smiling. "Well, we'll have to run that by our cap'n, but I don't see much of a problem with that. But you're not going to be able to run away every time we fight," she said with a wink. "I could teach you a bit about swordfighting if you'd like to learn, at least once I buy a new one."

Zylaa woke up from dreams of snugglebunnies and stared at the ceiling of the tiny room where she had been left. Her head hurt, the sort of feeling she supposed a hangover would leave. She felt the swaying ship and sat up slowly, rubbing her forehead. What the heck had happened? She pushed open the room door and noticed a ladder up into the sunlight. Slowly she climbed until she stuck her head out into the open air. "Where am I?" she asked the world in general.

Echo peeked out of the galley door. She tapped the nearest pirate. "Is it over?"

"I'd appreciate some tips, though I'm already not to bad with blades." she indicated the two swords she carried with her. "But there wasn't much fighting left when I arrived. I had to spend some time getting my pay out of that ol' blockhead before I came, and, like I said, I wasn't sure what to do. Not like I spotaneously run up to pirates commandeering a ship and ask to join them every day. It was an ill conceived plan, in that it was lacking in any planning I know." she blushed, but with a grin that would match her wolfish maw had she been in her fur suit at that moment.

"Took you guys long enough," stated a voice from the railing. It was a dark blue meepit who definitely hadn't been there before, but now he was and shot careful glances at all the pink meepits. "There's a bunch of drunken guards down there, fell asleep last night playing poker and there they are now, suggestions about what to do with 'em, Captain-or-whoever's-in-charge-here?"

Keng's jaw hung open a minute as she stared at the blue meepit. She wasn't used to talking petpets. Then she decided it wasn't the strangest thing she'd ever seen, and promptly shut her mouth closed so as not to appear rude.

Zylaa jumped as Echo tapped her. "Is what over?" she asked, bewildered. "Whatever was going on," she whispered, holding back her mini-leopard kitty with her calf. "I just slipped in. What'd I miss?"
