"Ah, hello, Salah and Omni. So, you both were invited to the Manor along with the others... unfortunately, it seems almost all of the Manor's other residents left a while ago... I'm not really sure why. That doesn't mean we can't all continue to learn from each other, though."
She looked directly at Omni. "Learning to control your magic is a noble endeavor indeed. I'm sure there will be opportunities for you to increase your magical abilities. I'm not sure what kind of powers you may have, but there are books in this castle about all different kinds of magic, and I'm sure some of them will help unlock the secrets of your powers."
Ikkin leaned up against the wall, allowing herself to relax as she launched into an explanation of the situation in the castle. "You'll both want to be careful, though. As I said before, I am uncertain as to the circumstances behind the disappearance of the other mages, and while it does not feel to be caused by any malevolent or chaotic force, it is always best to keep on one's guard in the midst of strange occurrences. Also, there is another strange kind of magic at work in this castle, which once manifested itself into a creature of evil, and while it has kept to itself for some time, I am unsure exactly what or where it is, so it's best to take care.
"If you still want to stick around, though, I'll be glad to show you around the castle and help you in your training." Ikkin grinned. Despite all the dangers she had warned about, she was still happy that there would be other people around to talk to, rather than the cold emptiness in the Manor that she had slowly grown used to, and she really wanted these two to stay with her.

Omni smiled. "Sure, I'll stay. I think I'll like learning to use magic, I can hardly wait to start." Her expression changed. "Um... Do you have a washroom? It's just that it's been a long journey down dusty roads under the hot sun..."

"Yes, there's one nearby, actually. Go through the nearest door, then take a left. The washroom is at the end of that hall," Ikkin said with a smile. "It's on the right-hand side, you can't miss it. But, if Salah wants to come along, too, we can all go together; I wouldn't want to leave any of the manor's guests alone, and it's made to be used by more than one person."
"The magic lessons will start as soon as we're finished settling in here - we'll each discuss what we know, and determine what we can learn from each other."

The mention of 'strange magic' and a 'creature of evil' made Salah's mind tell her to think about this one, but she ignored it. There was nothing to debate, really: she had come all this way just so she could be here, at the Mage Manor. Anyway, where else could she go? Ikkin wouldn't let anyone stay if there was anything really dangerous, Salah told herself.
Before she could speak, Omni spoke. Salah waited politely, if a bit impatiently, until Ikkin was done replying before she spoke. "Yeah, I'll stay," she said, nodding. "I'm not turning back after coming all this way. Cleaning myself up a little sounds like a good idea," she added, curling a strand of her rather greasy brown hair around a finger absentmindedly.

"Okay, right this way, then," Ikkin said as she lead the two other mages towards the washroom. Their steps echoed loudly in the empty hallway, making Ikkin uncomfortable. It had been so long since anyone else had been here that the extra footsteps set off warning bells in her head. She suppressed her instincts, though; she knew who these two were now.
She held the door to the washroom open to allow Salah and Omni to pass by her. There were several different bathtubs placed haphazardly around the room, each with a magical barrier that would keep a person's privacy while she washed up, and several different sinks along the far wall. Perhaps she, too, would take the opportunity to get cleaned up - she had not been on a long journey like the others, but a relaxing bath sounded very nice.

Omni looked around and picked a tub. She twisted the knobs and a stream of nice, warm water poured into the tub. Her first thought was Just a quick bath. Her next thought was Yeah, right.
She relaxed and let the water flow through her fur and feathers, taking some dirtyness along with it. The water level in the tub rose, and she just soaked for awhile. It had been quite awhile since she had a nice bath. Those rivers were so cold!
She was tepted to sing Singing in the tub. Just singing in the tub... but decided against it. She hummed 'Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head' instead.
EDIT AND ADD-ON:
"Are you coming, Omni?"
Omni looked over at the door, where the voices come from. She saw Ikkin and Salah done, dressed, and waiting.
Looks like I've taken a long time soaking, again.... Omni thought.
"You can go ahead, I'll catch up." Omni said, she had just barely started using the magic shampoo that lathered itself.

Salah yanked her hair over her shoulder irritably, trying to squeeze the last drop of water out of it. Whenever it got wet, it always dripped all over her shirt. With the other hand, she rubbed the water off the surface of the silver cobweb charm she always wore on a leather thong around her neck. Water was nice, but being wet wasn't. And she wasn't at all sure that water and light magic should mix.
Turning her gaze over to Ikkin, Salah gave her a should-we-wait-or-let-her-catch-up? look. She didn't want to say anything that would speak for both of them. After all, Ikkin was the one in charge here.

Ikkin would have taken much longer drying off if she wasn't able to use her air magic to dry herself off almost instantly. So it didn't surprise her that she was done before Omni, and she didn't think it was fair to expect her to clean up as quickly as she did. "It's probably best if we wait for Omni; I don't like the idea of leaving guests alone in this manor."
A few moments after she said this, Ikkin heard some kind of sound from outside of the washroom, and decided that waiting was probably the best thing they could do. "There's something outside," she told the others. "Don't be too alarmed, but be prepared in case something happens. Whatever it is shouldn't be able to get in here if it's harmful."

After washing, and a lotta rinsing, Omni got out of the tub, her fur sopping wet. After walking a small ways away from Salah and Ikkin, Omni shook to get dry, and looked at the clock to see how long she took. Only about 40 minutes that time, not too bad.
She walked back to the other two. "So... what next? Lunch? Dinner? Linner? Classes? Sleep?"

By the time Omni finally finished washing, Ikkin had decided that she had imagined the sound she had heard earlier, since she hadn't heard anything since, and there was no magical signature to associate it with.
"I think it might be nice if we show each other what kind of skills we have, and try to identify any latent skills that we could learn from each other. There's a good room for that close by. I'll take you to it; follow me."
As Ikkin led the other two towards the room, she heard the sound again, closer this time. Maybe she hadn't imagined it after all...

Omni looked over her shoulder. She thought she heard something, but she didn't see anything, and the sound seemed to have stopped. Maybe I was just hearing things she decided, turning to look forward again.
The group continued until Ikkin led them to a door. As Ikkin opened the door, Omni turned her head to try to get a better look inside.
Add-on: The door opened slowly, with a slight creek. The group walked into the room. It was obviously a testing/training room. There were various kinds of targets set up around the room, some cannon-like things which probably shot magic at you, some physical training items which were probably enchanted, and even a 'test your strength' machine for spells. Omni looked around in awe. It might be fun training here! I wonder what everything does...' she thought.
