((*stares* GAH! I missed all that? *bangs head on desk* -_- Stupid essay...)) Aly was too surprised to do anything. Girl and cat were trapped in the stone, complete darkness enclosing them. I'm going to suffocate, Aly thought with a groan. The cat calmly circled Aly's ankles, sniffing the air lightly. There is air. The stone is not without cracks. If you can break through it… “Yeah, right,” the mage muttered. “Shut up, Lika—I’m trying to listen.” Yeah, right, the feline mimicked, keeping quiet all the same. Aly tried not to swear as she heard the events just outside her rock prison, grinding her teeth instead. “When I get out of here…” Well, Lika said amusedly as Blitz insulted Skelath. Haven’t heard that before. “What?” It shouldn’t be repeated. The feline arched her back and stretched. You are aware that these walls could crash together at any time and crush us. “No, I didn’t,” Aly said with as much sarcasm as she could muster. “Thanks for the tip, though.” The mage frowned as the conflict began to rise again, and struck the heel of her boot against the ground. It was solid rock. “Dang…A little help here, guys?”

Surf felt a wave of relief when a look of realization appeared on Salah's face. Good, she's figured it out, she thought. Salah helped her bend the light into the Mageri's eyes, and created a cloud of darkness. "Thanks," Salah said to Surf. "No, thank you for that extra touch. That was nice," Surf replied, grinning. "But don't congratulate yourself just yet, we need to follow it up."
She swung her staff at many of the Mageri, sending the slicing wind shooting straight at them. And, as a safety precaution, she thrust the butt end of her staff into the solar plexus of the nearest Mageri.

Salah nodded, happy to feel appreciated even in the middle of a fight. However, she flinched visibly when Surf stuck a Mageri with her staff.
Okay, Salah, no need to copy her... You're not really a fighter, and besides, that Mageri is out of the way now, you don't have to go chasing after anyone...
"Um, okay..." Salah said. "I'm, well, I'm not really a fighter, but if you need any more light diversions, uh, I can do that..."

((I totally forgot to remove the cage that encased Aly and Michelle ^^;;
... And the cage was supposed to protect them from being crushed by the stone walls >.>))
As Subila continued following Skelath, she could feel her energy being drained more than she could recover from her state. "Dangit, I used too much in that fight..." she spat out. At that time, there was no other source of dark energy she could use.
"Curse this weakened form..."

Sarien closed her eyes when a large sphere of light was formed. Light Mages, she thought, it's possible that one is the one that blinded that other group.
Sure enough, the light level near her increased. She shifted the position of her mask, so it would cover her eyes, and focused on what she could hear (which included the shouts of Mageri who were stunned by the light). It wasn't long before she heard something, probably the black beast she had seen, leap toward the Mageri. It seemed to land on one of them, and she thought she heard someone else get the wind knocked out of him. She drew her dagger, rushed toward the beast that pinned one of the others down, and stabbed it not with her dagger, but with the crystal she held.
Omni ran around, near the edge of the battle, not really sure how to help in the battle.

Immediately after her strike connected and sufficiently hurt her current target, Surf struck the Mageri repeatedly in the skull. She leapt back and then smirked in satisfaction. "Night night evil mage," she said mischeviously. Let's see you wake up from that! She turned to Salah, who was flinching. Soon after, Salah said, "Um, okay... I'm, well, I'm not really a fighter, but if you need any more light diversions, uh, I can do that..."
Surf smiled, and replied, "you don't need to be a fighter to do what I just did. Purely bashing them in works nicely. In fact, earlier today, Aly defeated two of the Mageri by doing just that."
((Edit: Oh, ok Vyt, I edited out the Subila part then.))

((Surf, Subila's not with you. She's chasing Skelath under her shadow form)) Agna successfully pinned a Mageri down the ground, trying her best not to let her target escape. The tigress was too busy to notice Sarien rushing towards her for an attack. Too late to shift back to being a fog, Agna jumped quickly out of the way, away from the Mageri. Agna landed straight back towards the mages, but suffered a rather large wound on her right paw. Trying to get herself within the group, she limped. " Whatever was in the crystal is too dangerous for me..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Subila's movement slowed down. She couldn't catch up with Skelath as her stamina got lowered down by something distant. " Agna's injured..." she implied.

Kat sighed and stifled a yawn, leaning beside a large tapestry. She was all alone in this part of the Manor, having volunteered to stay behind in case anyone tried anything funny there. "When will those Mageri ever get here? I'm bored. I need action. Still...I hope the rest are having better luck than I am."

((*stares* So where the HECK am I?)) ((You're still with Surf and everyone else. I'll release the cage if it's causing the confusion)) The dark cage that surrounded Aly and Lika started to collapse, the demons inside slowly being released from them. The infernal beings all attacked the Mageri as they detected them being their master's enemies. ((These demons are the same as the paint creatures in GW. They're very weak and can be sent back to the Alternate world with a single blow.))

The Mageri, already confused by blindness, struggled to keep the demons away. They would just attack whatever they felt biting, scratching, or otherwise attacking them with fire, water bursts... whatever they had at their disposal. The earth Mageri blasted rocks around wildly, hitting several demons, but also several other beings as they landed haphazardly. They even smashed against the frost on the wall, sending bunches of snow and shards of ice plummeting to the ground, or whatever may have been above it.
Sarien herself was faring better than the others. Having gotten used to listening she could attack a demon before it struck her, as well as dodge the other attacks. Though the attacks would often get close, almost too close, she couldn't see just how many demons were left, and they would keep her busy until their attacks stopped.
Omni jumped away from a rather large clump of frost that almost landed on her. Realizing she couldn't stay in one place, she decided to look for any ways she might be useful. The Mageri were confused, and their main focus was on the demons. Maybe she could get near them if she approached quietly...

The spot where the dark cage was situated started to open a large hole. Apparently, the spell over-reacted with the portal that connected Mages Manor and the Alternate world, releasing more and more citizens of the opposite world before finally closing by itself.
Unusually, the new arrivals looked much like the shadow version of all the mages. Their minds set on reigning over the new world, they charged towards their respective coujnterparts.
((Sounds familiar? Yes, the shadow NTWFers are back. Everyone has total control over their shadow counterpart, so PUMP UP THE ACTIVITY))

Nature looked at the marble(?) halls that made up the Manor. The Zafara shivered as she walked down the empty hallway, desperately trying to find someone familiar to teach her the ways and life of the Mages. Finding no one, she sighed and sat on the floor.
Good grief, she thought. First, i was attacked by a ninja, now no one will even help me with my training.
With great boredom, she summoned a little Penguin - an Emperor, to be exact - and stroked it's feathers.
When will someone help me?!?
All of a sudden, a thud was heard down the hallway. Nature froze, sat up and looked. There was nothing there but a door with the sign'
KEEP OUT! DANGER! THIS PLACE'S TROUBLE! (No, we mean it!!!)
Shaking, she got up, took her Penguin in her arms, and walked down the hall. She looked at the door, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
(Yes, even in real life, curiosity is my problem. XD *mutant yooyu'd*)
Normally, she would be obedient of signs and warnings. But this time, curiosity got the better of her. "It won't hurt if I peeked, right?" she said to herself quietly as the torches in the hall flickered slowly.
Nature took a deep breath. Then, she opened the door . . .

((Omni, which Mageri did I knock out, then? =D Vyt, that's sweet. So our counterparts are attacking us?)) ((Probably just a random one, I'd say one that could use air blasts.)) Omni was about halfway to where the Mageri were when something threw itself into her. After a little bit of rolling, she found herself face-to-face, underneath... herself? No, this one didn't look quite like her, it was colored differently, generally darker, with eyes that seemed to glow a haunting green. It hissed a hiss that like it come from the dead. She hissed back at it, raking her claws across its face and throwing it off of her. She got up in the moment that it was distracted by pain. They began to circle eachother, growling, snarling, and otherwise trying to look as threatening as possible. Great... Omni thought. First the mageri, then this. I was getting close, too.Sarien noticed that she was attacked by the shadows less frequently. They were thinning out, that was a good thing. She was caught off guard by a ghastly hiss, soon followed by a more normal-sounding hiss. The sound worried her for a moment, then she realized that they were directed at eachother. That should help keep the Mages busy... she thought. Just a little longer...Elsewhere in the manor, a third small group of Mageri was heading down the hall. One of them scouted ahead of the others, turning to look down another hall he saw an anthromorph. He silently cursed their kind. The anthromorph appeared focused on the door at the end of the hall which bore a large warning sign. He signed to the others, and they crept down the hall, closing in on her. They came up right behind her at the end of the hall, near the door. As she reached to open the door, the one who was scouting threw himself against her, held her against the door and brought his dagger up to her neck. ((Is that exciting enough for you, Nature? ))
