((Lessee if I can get this going again...))
Omni continued to follow the kitten, running as fast as needed to keep up. She could tell that the others were still following behind, she could hear them, and feel their auras. They were close to the exit, she knew they were...
Sure enough, the kitten turned a corner, Omni followed suit, and off toward the other end of the hallway was a door that lead outside. Just a little farther...
A chill rose in the air. Large stalactites and stalagmites made of ice quickly formed from the floor and ceiling, merging together to create a solid wall in front of them. Omni made another screeching halt, but not quite soon enough to avoid bumping her nose into the icy wall.
"Going somewhere?" she heard a female voice behind her say.
Omni promptly made some space between the ice and her face (no rhyme intended) and turned to see who had spoken. She could see five Mageri. The owner of the voice had long, dark hair, as well as a differently colored outfit that the other four; she was probably the leader of the small group, or maybe just higher ranked. She had her hand against the hallway wall, a trail of ice leading from it to the newly-formed obstacle.
"We won't let you leave with the Thirecat," the different-colored Mageri said, her tone of voice said that she wasn't changing her mind. "Although... if you turn her over to us, I might let you leave quietly."

Aly had trailed behind Subila and her summoned tigress, quietly on alert for any more surprises. She didn't want to be trapped by anything--not now, not ever. The girl stopped suddenly as the ice formed, both she and Lika growling softly. "Going somewhere?" Allianne moved towards the front of the group, smiling slightly. Finally, a fight. "We won't let you leave with the Thirecat. Although... if you turn her over to us, I might let you leave quietly." The fire mage tried to sort out which Mageri she'd fought earlier. She didn't think the one speaking had been there earlier, but she couldn't be sure. After all, she hadn't exactly been paying attention to her adversaries, just beating them up and getting out of there. Eh, it's didn't matter much. "Why don't you leave without doing anything else, and we'll let you leave quietly?" she said in the same stubborn tone. As far as Aly was concerned, this was going to be a fight no matter what happened. Unless Elycien was really crazy enough to give herself up. In which case, it would probably be a fight anyway.

"Why don't you leave without doing anything else, and we'll let you leave quietly?"
"Hmm..." she tilted her head the slightest bit, "that's funny. I was under the impression that you wanted to leave, and soon. We, on the other hand, haven't even had a chance to make ourselves at home yet."

Irking these people is not the best of strategies. The girl kicked Lika's side. "That's funny," she mimicked. "I was under the impression that this isn't your home. Shoo."

"I don't remember saying that it was," she continued in a slightly villainous tone (the same tone she had been using ['cept for the 'not letting you leave' line] *cough* >_>). "Do any of you remember me saying that?" she asked the four Mageri behind her.
"I-I don't think so."
"Nuh-uh."
*violent head shaking*
"No Sir, Ma'am, uh... Lieutenant."
"I don't remember that either." She continued talking to the mages, "At any rate, the Thirecat" she practically spat the word 'Thirecat' "is a wanted criminal, with charges of breaking and entering, theft, possession of dangerous creatures, practice of forbidden magic, trespassing on government property... not to mention evading the Police ((or would she say 'Mageri?')), even crossing the border to do so. Right now all of you face potential charges of knowingly assisting a wanted criminal, but if you cooperate..."

Aly rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she muttered, grinning. "And if you're going to brand her as a criminal," she added, gesturing to Elycien, "I think you can bill me for more than that. Banned from 37 shops, 6 villages, and...2 towns." The girl nodded. "Mostly arson and theft, accidentally using people's hats for target practice, etc..." You're proud of that? She kicked Lika again. "So, anyway, I'm not really scared of facing charges from so-called law enforcers who break their own rules," Aly finished, crossing her arms stubbornly. "So please do us all a favor and leave. Or stop talking and get on with it already." The dagger in her hand glinted. "Now."

Kat hung back as everyone ran off, all in hot pursuit of the kitten. She did not see the kitten disappear after it led the other mages to the Mageri, but felt the magic return to her, lending her extra power.
Now she was ready, in case someone found her.
((Someone get some Mageri to come after me if you want. XD))

Surf braked to screeching (well, not so screeching since she was hovering mid-air) halt, and began to zone out as the Mageri and the other mages exchanged useless patter, but jumped into awareness when one of the Mageri spat the word 'Thirecat.' Anticipating a battle, she began to focus her power.
"Right now all of you face potential charges of knowingly assisting a wanted criminal, but if you cooperate..."
"Ooh I've never been a criminal before. Sounds like fun, if we get to kick the crud out of you," replied Surf in a gleeful yet malicious tone.

MGA shook his head at the 'conversation' that was being held. Floating on his platform of ice, which had stopped when the ice wall was formed, he allowed a trickle of water magic to go to the ice wall, searching for weaknesses and trying to make the wall recede.
To distract the Mageri from what he was doing, he said casually, "Hm... Breaking and entering... Didn't you just break and enter? What a hypocrite." With his left hand behind him, allowing the trickle of magic to flow, MGA lifted his right hand, and prepared to blast the Lieutenant with an ice beam.

Subila and Agna was still in their own stances, ready to attack. However, the former sensed something wrong. She could not find any trace of the Mageri's dark energy on the direction she was facing. Instead, it...
"... Got through me!"
Subila quickly turned towards the group, finding their own trace of dark energy. Upon sensing it for a minute, she tapped Agna to follow her. Suddenly, both of them emerged into the darkness.

"We do have the authority to break in if it becomes necessary," the Lieutenant said, looking toward the water mage as she spoke to him, noticing that he was near her ice wall.
"And I wouldn't do that if I were you."
She didn't even have to move because her hand was still pressed against the wall. She simply sent a small spell down the ice on the wall, and the area of the ice-wall near the water mage's hand suddenly grew a small formation of what looked like many sharp icicles.

((Due to my loss of internet connection, Subila and Agna will be free for anyone to control. Keep in mind the abilities of both creatures. For the clueless, Agna is your average winged tigress containing high amounts of dark energy))

Blitzkrieg came pelting down the hallways. "Elcie! Elcie, the Mageri are --" He stopped short, realizing he was too late. The Gathow's ears went flat against his head and he snarled, leaping forward to stand between her and Elerin, facing the Mageri.
"I don't want any of you to get hurt," Elycien whispered uncertainly, stepping forward slightly.
Blitz hissed angrily and lashed out at Elycien's leg, claws extended. "Stop that," he hissed. "We outnumber them. It'll be all right."
Elerin had remained curiously silent, and was now backing away cautiously. The male Thirecat didn't look scared, but rather intense.

As the ice spiked toward his hand, MGA uttered a low growl. He heated his hand up to an extreme temperature, so that the ice melted even as it touched his hand. Raising an eyebrow at the Lieutenant, he said, "Outside of your land, you have no authority. You're just a simple mage."
The ice platform he was on immediately broke up into several large and sharp ice shards. Half of them were directed at a high speed toward the Lieutenant, while the other half hardened as his magic forced them to glow red-hot, even though it still remained ice. This half shot toward the ice wall, gaining heat as it sped closer to the wall.

Between the commotion, a dark spot of shadow formed in mid-air. In it came out Subila and Agna, both wounded for some reason. The latter even was limping on her right front leg.
"What did I miss?" Subila said between her gasps of breath. Agna could only let out a weak growl as she glared at the Mageri.
