Alright. So originally this post was for character concepts, but I think that can wait. Right now I'm going to have to figure out this entire family tree.  So this is where that'll go. Ryder KnightRyder Knight, or Rider, had a tough love-life. When Rider was younger, she met up with Kit Clairvoyance in a bar. The two did not know each other too well, and Rider was rum-drunk. Kit took advantage of her and they... Nevermind. 9 months later, Rider gave birth to Crystal Knight-Clairvoyance. Years later, Rider fell in love with Count Thundy von Zeppelin and they got married. During their marriage, they had three children: Dan von Zeppelin, Xiv von Zeppelin, and Sammy von Zeppelin (some time afterward, Sammy legally changed her last name to Cysso). Thundy and Rider went through a nasty divorce with Thundy, which left her alone and broken. She went back to getting drunk in bars late at night, which led to her and Stal Grey, which resulted in Hu Knight-Grey. She is currently married to Shino Knight, who just so happened to have the same last name as Rider. Sammy CyssoSammy Cysso, daughter of Rider and Thundy. She grew up with some problems. She fell in love with Kat's cousin, Luke, and they stayed in love for some time. However, the "evil energy" that came from Luke drove Sammy to insanity as an evil sorceress. Luke disappeared mysteriously one night, leaving Sammy alone. During the time, she was taunted and tortured by Ery Sablones. For some reason, one day he just stopped. Some people say that Rider gave him a good lecture that really changed him, but she denies it. No one's really sure. But in any case, Sammy's life went back to a normal pace. Well, at least as normal as you can get with her. Anyway, she married Zach Bag (Bag, obviously), but she never took Bag's name and stayed as Sammy Cysso. Currently they have no children (Yeah, I know technically Kat's my daughter, but for this story she really can't be because...well, you'll see), but are hoping for children in the future. Alright. Next up -- character concepts! And then maybe more family tree updates. |

Main Antagonist: The Shadow
Who is he? Where did he come from? No one knows anything about it, except that he's definitely male. His outfit is a black cloak with a large hood over his head, drooping over his eyes. Underneath his cloak is a long-sleeved black shirt and black pants. I guess he wears shoes, too, but I dunno. So, yeah, anyway. He's never actually really been seen fully, so he's not much more than a bunch of rumors. Supposedly he's an evil sorcerer, ruling in black magic. No one's really sure.

Alright. This post contains a character concept for the main antagonist. However, because I need this thread to put all my thoughts together, there is going to be some major spoilers revealed. So if you plan on reading the story when it's finished, DON'T look at what's in the spoiler tags. REAL Main Antagonist: NightmareBirth Name: Melissa Ruby Phoenix Family: Mother Phoenix (mother), Father Phoenix (father), Patricia Jade Phoenix (sister) Now Known As: Nightmare Appearance:  Age: Unknown (looks in her late twenties/early thirties) Abilities: Able to invade a person's dreams, in which she can find out their deepest, darkest secret. She can also manipulate dreams to her liking. Bio: Melissa Ruby Phoenix, older sister to our own Lady Jade, was unsatisfied with her life. She was always jealous of her baby sister, who seemed to be the center of everyone's attention. She drew away from society and communicated with only her father. Her father would tell her stories before she went to bed. They would be fairy tales, but twisted to Melissa's liking. The stories were about The Alternates. [I'll get into more about that later when I'm not braindead] Melissa's couriosity was aroused, and spent all her life researching about The Alternates and their ultimate power. Years passed, and she and her sister moved on their separate ways. Melissa continued to research into The Alternates. Finally, one day, she was able to harness the power of The Alternates and gained absolute control over them (she gained her dream powers once she took over The Alternates). At first, she wanted to use her new powers for good. One day, she came across the news that her sister, Lady Jade, had been awarded with the title of one of the best Admins ever. Once again, Lady Jade had prevailed over her, which made Melissa quite angry. She abandoned her original identity and adopted the name of Nightmare. Using the power of The Alternates, she traveled all over and conquered Forum after Forum, creating an empire of brainwashed Forumers of the different Forums. Nightmare wanted to prove that she could be better than her baby sister. |

Dictionary
I use a lot of terms in my story. A lot, like Forum and Admin, are true to their original meanings, but have a little more depth to them. So this is where I shall store all the terms.
Intarwepia -- the world where the Forums exist. Like Earth, but different.
Probord Ocean -- the only large body of water in Intarwepia; it covers the entire planet.
Foruym -- an island; a generic term that describes the splotches of land that cover the Probord Ocean. For example, Enteedubelyueff is a rather large Forum.
Admen -- an overall ruler of a Forum, although they do not have absolute power.
Enteedubelyueff -- the Foruym that the story takes place on.
Enteedubelyueffers -- inhabitants of Enteedubelyueff; also known as Foruymers, which is the generic term for inhabitants of a Foruym.

EXCERPT TIEM NAO. This is from the Prologue. There's a lot more, it just gets kind of...graphic. XD Sort of. But yeah, the stuff in the spoiler tags is safe for work. XD They sat underneath the stars. Smiles traced upon their faces, for they were in love. On a hill on the outskirts of Tabloid Town, they laid there, arms and legs intertwined. They were in love. Truly, truly in love. He caressed his gentle fingers through her soft, long, beautifully pink hair while she placed quick kisses on his lips. Every now and then, they would giggle. Kissing and laughing and being in love.
“Sammy,” he whispered. She turned her head at the call of her name, her crystal blue orbs looking into his beautiful brown ones. “I’ve got a surprise for you.” His hand left her hair and he showed his palm in front of both of them. Nothing at first; then, suddenly, a heart made out of a lovely purple magical substance conjured into his hand. She cooed with delight.
Both she and he were of the magical kind. Humans, but with magical powers. A sorcerer and a sorceress. Husband and wife. Together, forever in love.
As the moon rose higher and the star shone brighter, the temperature dropped lower. The wind blew up against the lovers, sending a chill up their spines. Without even thinking twice, they grabbed at each other, holding their partner closer and letting their love warm their cold-stricken bodies.
She smiled at him, looking deeply into his eyes. “I love you so much, Luke,” she whispered. Raising her voice any louder than a quiet hush would ruin the mood.
He smiled back at her. “I love you, too, Sammy. I love you…so much, too.”
“Please never leave me, Luke. I’ll never love anyone else, so never leave me.”
“I never will. I never will.”
“Do you promise?”
He smiled at her again, his warm smile sparkling at her. “I promise.” |

You know what's really fun to write? Rider's drunken pirate accent. XD “darn kids!” Sammy heard a familiar voice yell, yet there was a hint of playfulness in the voice. “Always makin’ ou’ on yer couch whenever come over.”
