I would have expected Shino to kick things off a long time ago. I sense a serious lack of initiative here. From everyone. I don't know if it's because everyone is busy and has more important things to attend to, but the least we can do is start flying this airplane, lest it run out of gas before we even get off the ground. As I type this message, i'm in the middle of writing the start of the roleplay. I'm writing it not because i'm a Mod (which Shino requested), but because I refuse to let this thing explode and watch as everyone gets a hissy-fit about how we overplanned things and what-not. So if there's no objections, I will continue writing and start Guilds' War 2 tonight. (Or tomorrow, if I get writer's block and am unable to finish tonight. ^^; ) EDIT: And Shino, you don't always need a Mod to get things rolling. Modship is just a rank, and it doesn't make us any better than the regular members when it comes to RP skills. ^_~ I think the whole idea behind the mod thing is that if it was a mod not involved in the RP who started it, nobody could've started power tripping about how they started the RP and it "belonged" to them, or something xD; Anyway, I think you'd be well placed to start it, as the head of one of the major guild(The ninjas and pirates are a bit, erm, pityful lately xD; ), and I can't wait to see what you'll come up with ^_^ |

I think some of the reasons no one's started it are because
a) GW originaly belonged to Shino, so we either have some expectation for him to start or respec that he created this beast and we're subconsciously waiting for his blessing for one of us to start
b) Writer's block
c) Being the person to choose the direction of the plot that will affect a very large RP that seems to be important to a lot of us is a LOT of pressure
d) All the different requested time frames and trying to impossibly fit to all of them.
So Strife, if you want to, go right ahead I say!
On that note, I'll start the OOC Thread.
