Planning Guild War 2

I think I'll just start the persona thread myself. I have a mind for what I think would be a good way to organize it
And besides, the thread can hang around as long as it wants until we start the actual RP itself

You know, reading through some of the personas so far it's interesting to see how a lot of us have changed our characters since last year. They're really evolving. I think it's great

I hate to rush anyone, but I am extremely anxious for the next Guild Wars. It's going to be soooooooooooooooo cool!!! Should we haave it up by the end of the month, perhaps? That seems as good a time as any, I think so anyways.

Ditto! Judging by the way the sign-ups thread is coming, I guess we can start by the end of the month.

End of the month sounds good. Sounds to far away for me actually, but it's probably the best time, and there's bound to be a few unexpected things popping up in the new semester/term/whatever it is.

... I don't suppose we could go for the beginning of next month as opposed to the end of this one, could we? >.> I don't think I'm the only one who'll be swamped in final exams late this month.

I'm probably the only one who'd try to get this postponed until mid-March, huh? >___>;; Late February/early March I'm going to be really hung up with a combination of homework and play rehearsals. Oh well.

There's not much difference between the last day of January and the first day of Febuary. But maybe that's just me being to precise. I think you'll be fine

The very end of January/early February is good for me, I think we're back from holiday at that point. I'd hate to miss the start. ^^

If I'm able to head the summary thread again, I can keep a running list of characters in the roleplay. After all, I had to state everyone's allegiance and such the first time they appeared in the summary last time I did it, so to keep a list of them all wouldn't hurt me much for time.

At which, whenever a summary thread is needed, shout out to me (PMs work well) and I'll get one started.

I think that's a great idea, actually. With so many threads, it does clutter the main Guilds board, so it should be done. All the locked threads for GW1 could be put there, too, as well as the open threads (the comic, if it's still on, and the movie). Further, the important threads for GW2, once it starts up, (the profile thread, the summary, the roleplay itself) could all be stickied so they stay organised at the top. Then, when it's over, they can be locked, defloated, and, when the next one starts up, all stickied again. ^_^

I like this time frame, too. :) I vote for late-February the earliest, myself, but would prefer later.

I think we should have a sub-board for GW in the memory lane thread, but GW itself should be kept where it is because otherwise this board will have no use, or at least not much of one. The way I see it this is the area for muti-guild activities that are not specific to one area (eg. zero gravity game in spacefleet is open to all, but it still a fleet thing).

And Wolf, I don't think you should worry about the list of characters thing. I'll try to keep track of all that in the persona thread. You can still mention allegiances in your summary and stuff, but I've started the list and trust me, it's actually quite a bit of work.

Not being a Devil's advocate here, but I can't wait longer than the start of February. Last two months of the school year here tends to be the busiest, and I don't think I'll ever have the time even just to check.

Actually, I've tallied up everyone's responses to the time frame suggestion and it unofficially stands that the beginning of March is the best time. Of the numerous forumers who have not commented on this particular decision, I cannot say obviously. There are only one or two people who are advocating for late March or April. I think that someone who has the power to enforce this should start up the thread by the people's choice.

That's just my opinion of course, I don't know if everyone agrees or would stand by a very early March date.
