Aubrise and the Gebmid Mystery by Pam Is that your drawing? I really like it. Anyways, I really like this! Yep, thanks Thank you - where were the punctuation errors? I think I have heard that rule before but I've always gone by the newspaper style book rule that numbers under 10 get spelled out, everything else is in figures. (I'm a journalist.) Thank you

Ahnnilator's Guide to the Deserted FairgroundThe giggling is annoying, isn't it? I think my favorite part, however, was "Do: believe in ghosts. If you don't before you get there, it'll be... let's say a very big shock." Thanks. ^_^ Okay, I'm doing some reviews later. ^_^

Needed Adventure: Part 10 By Tdyans There are times when Ezno’s such an obvious city kid that it almost hurts to read. And you’d think he’d eventually start listening to poor Whooter. Oh! And you brought in the Feral Neopets! *is excited* Can't wait to see what you do with them. ^^

What lies hidden in your closet: part fourBy Puppy200010 The doors lock themselves? *sudden odd mental picture of door screaming “none shall pass!”* I am a little confused why she didn’t just admit to being locked out of her closet? I mean, it’s not like it holds any deep obvious secret. Not obvious secrets, yes….

At the AstroVilla: part four By kemppotatoe
I love this line:
“One day you're evil and rich and the next you're apologetic and... still rich?"
It’s like all he thinks about is money. ^^
It will be interesting to see where you take the disappearance of the Aisha lady…

Starlight Invasion: Keeping Secrets By rainbow_daydreamer
*blink* It’s over?
Ohhh, nice twist for Starie and Dar! I wasn’t expecting that. It kind of took me by surprise the first time, I had to read a couple paragraphs twice – but I’m running on a severe lack of sleep which might explain that. (Darn clock changes)
I do kind of wish you explained what happens to Starie/Bethan – was she allowed to stay in training? Or did she have to start the program over? Did she get painted silver again? Did the Airax sprout a second head and start reciting Shakespeare? Why didn’t Dar just give her the drug when she figured out who Starie was?
I know, I have too many questions. *wink* All in all though, I loved this story!

A break in memory: part twoBy appaloosa500 Poor DiSoni is having a very bad day… XP reminds me of Monk somehow. And I love the ‘lab pet’ joke. Fyora should be nominated for sainthood after putting up with those two. I'm so looking forward to C2 and XP stuck together...

An October Holiday by Ebil...wow. XD That was the most random story I've read in a long time. XD However, I also laughed many times throughout it. I really enjoyed this story. I was worried that the numerous story lines wouldn't work out, but you tied things up nicely, and the voice narrating was genius. Write more stories like this, please! Ebil: You liked it?! Awww... TY! *hugs* Dan: D= GETITOFFME! EDIT: and, yeah... I swear I'll get around to doing some actual reviewing...

[glow=blue,2,300] Tales From Cabin Eight: The Halloween Away From Home[/glow] The Tales From Cabin Eight series has a spiffy custom pic. I know you didn’t choose it or anything but it’s very nice. ^^ Hehe, on to the review… I like the description in your first paragraph, and throughout the story the descriptions are generally very good. ^^ It’s easy to imagine the scene without thinking too much about it. I like this sentence. It sounds nice. ^^ The candy rain bit adds rhythm and is surprising yet perfectly logical. The story flowed pretty quickly and was easy to read. This series of stories tends to be lighthearted despite the spooky premise, and I had to smile at the monster’s name—the term Brain Hog is just inexplicably funny. ^^ With the rush of names given in the beginning—often an issue in stories with multiple characters needed to be introduced at once—I didn’t try to make sense of them but just read on, and got the hang of it soon enough. Because the names were repeated often and the species weren’t, though, I found myself picturing the characters by their costumes rather than their species. n:P Regarding the Ixi camp director, I read and then forgot about her, because she didn’t seem to tie in with the story. My best guess is that the squares of fabric represented the friends’ costumes (brown for the Brain Tree, purple for Fyora, yellow for the yellow in the Judge Hog costume and blue for Lisha’s schoolgirl dress, as you describe,) and that the Ixi was somehow involved with the witch’s monster. I’m not sure how she benefited the story, but maybe she’ll be touched on in a future Tale from Cabin Eight. I’m kind of left wondering how Hank managed to figure out how exactly he could defeat the Brain Hog in just that manner, but at least he’s redeemed himself for being saved by Sara, eh? In all, a very nice and enjoyable story. ^^

AAAAARTICLLLLES!!!! (I'm feeling loud kthx)
Ahnnilator's Guide to the Deserted Fairground
HAH. Melikes it ^^ I always wondered why no one ever noticed the clown ride. But i sort of agree with everybody else on the fact that not everyone will know who you're talking about in the title. And also - COOKIES. Cookies are good.
SHORT STORIES, WHICH PWN! (Well they do :K)
Tales From Cabin Eight: The Halloween Away From Home
Coolness! I liked this story, it was real interesting, and the idea of it was highly original - the business with combining the costumes into a... fee... a feelis... never mind. but it was good. I'll have to read the other two.
The Korbat from Krawk Island
...erm.... I'm not quite sure what to say about this one o-0 I mean, it's... uh... it's hard to follow in places, and though it has some clever parts and mostly original-ish story, it's rather confusing and I couldn't tell what kind of mood you were going for - creepy, humorous or what?
Hmm, this review business isn't as easy as I thought it would be >_> *will do more later*

Thy reviews beginneth... But first... I have limited time to do reviews this week. I have only the rest of today, unless I am able to finish my chapter tomorrow, at which I will have some more time to review. So, in light of that, I will be tackling things from the top of the list down...to be fair, of course. If I end up not being able to do a review, I apologize; I really had not foreseen such constraints this weekend, nor had I expected so many NTWF-ers to have been published in a single issue. Also, as NaNoWriMo begins in only a few days, I will be doing fewer reviews during November, but since December seems to be free of too many constraints, minus a day or two, I shall be able to return to full reviews then.
I shall begin with the comics, as usual...
A Spooky Halloween, pt 4 by ghostkomorichu LOL! ROFL! LMHO!* That was great, Komori! I just love Komo so much, and your art is always so beautiful. The scaring panel was awesome, really nicely done. Great job!
P.S.: Can we ever expect more Spooky series such as this was?
* Laughing My Head Off... if you did not know already...
Being Eliv Thade Art by tristess by autoc007 This had a really nice joke, but I found it somewhat predictable. The common Haunted Woods residents were also drawn rather nicely, and the artwork as a whole was quite good, though the first two panels did seem a bit lacking compared to the others.
The Collar by ssjelitegirl Woot! I love Shad and Saura! This one was great, like all of their other comics. This had a really nice joke and I liked it a lot. ^_^
Flapdoodle: Trick Or Treat! by obviousfakename ? LOL! This was great! A really nice, laughable joke! The art was beautiful, as well.
Neopups Halloween by coshi_dragonite ? This was really funny! The art was done nicely and the joke was great.
Darkest Corner: Independence by dark_elfa Though I did not find this that funny, the artwork was amazing - the texture and shading and smooth lines are all awesome. I did, however, find the text a bit hard to read, but still, the art was amazing.
Life Improvised by keng200 I found myself having to squint to read this, but it was funny when I reached the end. Though this was a bit plain from its lack of colors, the artwork was still quite good.

To review the, ahem, many articles this week...
Ahnnilator's Guide to the Deserted Fairground by cyneo_masters2 This was great! The humor and the voice were wonderfully entertaining and incredibly easy-to-read. It was also well-written, save for one mistake when you wrote "of" instead of "off," but typos are all too common, I feel... Last year, I found a handful in my Biology book - most memorably, they spelled "blood" as "blod."
