Thanks for the review. Yes, the line about how he was going to shed his "pathetic Eyrie form" was supposed to let you understand his transformation to a Korbat. Don't worry, I did my research there.

Thank you so much for the reviews, blub, kinohi, Nikki and star! I greatly appreciate it! On to my reviews. . . The Gallion Ranch - The joke seems familiar to me for some reason. . . it's still funny though and I really believe it's true Nice artwork Underwater "Fishing" - ROFL! That is funny! Good detail in the empty pond and nice art, looks like it was made in paint (Same thing I use hehe) Shoyru Squadron - Beautiful artwork, what else can I say? I kinda expected them to all pile together to form one big Shoyru attacker after reading that first panel. Must've had Power Rangers on the mind or something Can't wait for the next one! The Adventures of Leona and Kaa - Funny facial expression in the second panel. Cute joke Congrats on your first entry! Ways to Destroy a Pesky Owner - Cute Joke is amusing. Congrats on your first entry!

Okies. Finally, I'm doing some reviews (well, one, anyway - more later)! ^^
Article Review
Oh, Joy, I'm Unhappy by nut862
I miss you, Nut! ^^ *le glomp* Just wanted you to know that (heh, as if the others - at least, the NTAGers - don't know about that). *sigh* Anyway, I'll be sending this via PM as soon as I post so that you'll get to read it when you return. On to the review...
First off, like Luau, I remember you mentioning this article of yours that was being heldover and that you hoped it was funny enough. Well, it was. ^^ You have your own brand of humor, Nut. I don't know how to explain it, really. It's just that you're style is funny without making direct jokes but it's not that kind of humor that makes you fall off your chair. It's the kind that makes you bite your lip to keep from smiling and makes you think about it for a while, too (because for a moment there, I thought it might be true). Personally, I think that's the kind of humor that's hard to write.
Your article is somewhat lengthy (well, longer than the usual article, anyway) but I was never bored. ^^ The prose was easy to read and everything just meshes together, you know? Each paragraph connects with the next and your lighthearted tone makes me want to read more. Just read. And, I enjoyed what I read. ^^
I'm not sure if I've read about your topic before but even if I did, the way you tackled it was just original (and very creative). I especially enjoyed those subtle references to your pets (especially Quiggler) and the spiffeh custom pic that you made yourself!
Congratulations, Nut. This was really well done. I can't wait to see you come back and write more articles (as well as your other stuff). ^^

Wow. This Fyora issue sure does have a lot of nice articles, doesn't it (including/excluding mine, of course. )? It's been so long since I did some reviewing but now I'm in the mood to keep on going. ^^ Article Reviews[/u] The Valkenweig File: An Overview of the Yora Dynasty by really_awesome_d00dWhoo! Glad to see you're still writing, Jason. ^^ I haven't seen anything of yours in a while (fwaha, and I'm sure it's likewise). First off, this was a very interesting article. The topic itself has never been tackled before. And, the details. All those precious details! You even included each queen's royal colours and symbols. It must've been hard to come up with all of those. When I was reading through Claeyora's bio, a few thoughts came to mind. I wondered if the "facts" you gave actually happened in Neopian history especially when I came across the phrase, "defeated Malikka the Vile". But then, I read on and found out that Malikka was a Dark Faerie. Whoops. It looks like I mistook her for Malkus Vile. When I came to Thyora, I had that sense that I was probably missing something here (yup, I remembered the item "Thyora's Tear"). For a while there, I was quite mystified (and, at times, confuzzled, because I think read somewhere before that Thyora's a Neopet (oh, wait, that was someone's beautiful Times story ) and I was all the more eager to read more. The thing that really daunted me here was the length. ^^; Being a person with a relatively short attention span, I was really going to quit after I read about the first queen (I mean - 7,097 words, in all? ^^; Whew. How long did it take you to come up with this?) but I decided to go on because my curiosity got the better of me (glad I did ^^). XD I would have suggested that you made the piece into a two (or three) part article series. But, that's just me being my usual nitpicky self. All in all, this was a great piece. I loved the "encyclopedia/lecture" mood going on here. And, my favourite part in each of the queen's bios is the history. Man, I learned a lot from 'em. You managed to weave a few Neopian facts into your commentary and even give explanations for some items/places that exist in Neopia (such as who constructed the Hidden Tower and why; Thyora's Tear) which made me feel like the entire article is actually based on "real" Faerieland history. In fact, I still do (well...is it? How in the world did you research for this article? ). Great job, Jason. Looking forward to seeing more of your work again in the Times! ^^ The Many Accomplishments of Fyora by lassie_nikkiI'm getting used to seeing your articles in the Times, Nikki. ^^ Go you! Keep on going (do you have the NT Star avvy now, btw? ^^ Time flies by...) By now, I've think I've already pinned down what all your articles have in common: creative content (even with a lot of us doing Fyora-themed articles, you managed to make your article unique); elegant, clean prose (easy-to-read, flows well); and fun! ^^ I do wish you'd included some subtle humor in this article the way you usually do. ^^ And, there were a some instances of redundant adjective use (nitpicking again, ignore me ). One last thing: this is one instance where I think the article should've been a little longer! I want more! Keep it up, Nikki! ^^

Thank you very much for the review, Doughnut! I am so glad you liked it. I'm also glad you picked up on the "purple" imagery... I was a bit worried that it was too subtle... that no one would notice it!

Nothing is As it Seems: Part Four by estantia
Hehe, first thing I have to comment on is how the Lenny in your custom seems to be staring longingly at the Fyora in the NT banner.
"He really does scream like a girl, doesn't he?" "Yes, very high and very loudly..." "Hey!" I love this as an opening for a chapter. The ending is nice too, evil cliffhanger. Though one does wonder if the “nothing is as it seems’ means that it really isn’t Illusen….

A Weak Heart: Part Three by literalluau
Ohh, nice ending! Definitely not what I was expecting. *grin*
“Maelstra's face turned from startled to amused. "Jhudora's the one who gives quests, kiddies. She lives next door."”
I really like that part, not only does it firmly place her as a resident of Faereland, it show’s her as a confident person who is comfortable with where she is in life.
While Darin doesn’t exactly fit with Darigan’s history in the plots, I like this version too. *grin*

Yes, thank you, can be found here: www.neopets.com/topneopets.phtml I never really noticed how many exclamation points there were, but after reading your comment and looking back, I see them all. Waay too many. They end almost every paragraph. =P Thank you for your review! Thanks, I like the picture too. =) And thank you for the review!! ---- Now I just need to get some reviews in. I'll start with comics of NTWFers. =P And wow. I just realized how long it had been since I was published last. 0.o;

Thanks! ^^ I'm glad you enjoyed it. Writing it was hard work; it took me roughly three days to complete. But I can see that it certainly paid off. Thanks again for the review. =D Haha, Belle, I'm glad you liked it. This has been my first piece in a LONG time, since the Christmas issue to be exact. School's been overwhelming, and I'm hopeful that I can recover from it over this summer. ^^ Anyways, I first got this idea from a Storytelling competition where it mentioned Thyora as her mother. I noticed the "-yora" suffix, and it all kind of came off from there. ^^ I started it not thinking it would become the enormously huge piece of work that it now is. It took me roughly three days to start and finish. I didn't realize just how enormous it was until I was done with it, but I realized the limit on articles was 50,000 words so I didn't think much of it. I knew it would be daunting, but I figured it would fit the whole "encyclopedia entry" better if it was all in one piece. As for the facts... Well, I made up a TON of it. It was fun, though. =D I tried to make sure I included things that were prevalent in today's Neopia, like Thyora's Tear and the Hidden Tower and all that, so that it wouldn't become too much like a boring history lesson. ^^ Anyways, I'm really glad you liked it. =D Thanks so much for the review!

City Lupe on the Plains: Part Twoby kindheartedfairy Awww, he went back to the city…. I have to admit, that flew past rather fast for me; I had to read it a couple times to figure out exactly what happened. “Owners are evil!” “I think I’m going to move to the city, please don’t get mad at me “You’ve convinced me; let’s pick up the first human we met” Maybe if there had been a bit more space between that… a couple weeks where hunting was bad, life was hard… stuff like that… to make it seem more reasonable. Other than “we shall fight to the death to remain wild – until you go away when we’ll pack up and move to town” I adore Benny in this chapter, he’s just so cute! *huggles* *prods Kathy to write more about Benny*

COMICS
The Gallion Ranch
I like how most of the detail is focused on the pet and in the center, and the background is simple. However, I don't think you should have repeated the first and second frames. Maybe you could make him look more frustrated. Overall, great work! =D
Underwater "Fishing"
I really like this! I love his expression in the third frame, and I especially like the last frame. The last frame looks very busy and chaotic, and it makes me giggle. Good work!
The Adventures of Zezzer
Haha, VERY cute! =D I like the style of the art, the colors, how everything is layed out... The little plushie Lupe is especially darling. Also, it's a nice joke! Keep up the great work.
Ways to Destroy a Pesky Owner
Really good artwork. I love all of the shades of blue in the sky and green in the grass. I also love the cute little way you draw the pets. However, the first thing that bothered me was on the sign. The S in Sale looked like a G. But it's not really a big deal, just me, I guess. ;P And in the last frame, the Mynci's hand is going inside the sign/table. It looks kind of odd. But again, no big deal. I like the ZOOM effect, and the joke is cute and original. Congrats on getting into the NT, and good job!
