I was kicked off the computer yesterday before I could finish reading. >_< But here's the review:
Christmas Warmth
Aww, I loved the story! It left me with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. With so many characters I felt a bit confused at first, but as I read more their different personalities stood out. Especially Maz, who was funny and made me laugh. But all the characters were lovable. Christmas might have been a while ago, but your story made me feel the Christmas spirit again. ^_^ It was well-written too, I really didn't spot any typos or anything.
I'll go read&review more stuff now. n:)

Thank you, Sia, for reviewing my story. ^^ Heh, dunno what you meant by some poor passerby, PM me maybe? XD And the thing about the language plus show not tell is what I've been hearing all my story-writing life and I just can't get the hang of it. *hides*

Madz reviews: the New Series!
A heros journey by Precious_Katuch14:
Very good, a superb beginning to what looks like a brilliant story! The characters came across really well, and I LOVE THE NAMES! Rohane is really clever! I really liked the character Reuben, the name suits him, it sounds like some rivalry between the two brothers!
The Tale of the Darkest Faerie by shadowcristal:
VERY good. I thought the whole thing with a dark faerie writing was brilliant. The characters were amazing, and the descriptions gave me a clear image of them in my head - super-di-duper! I like the names, each one showing the personality and style. Sia - A super duper start and im following it!
Sleeping Beauty by ruff_zette:
I enjoyed this one, a really nice idea about a supposedly "ugly" pet. The names were clever, as their was 2 princesses (both beautiful) and a beauty_queen who was well, ugly. Im definitely following this one.

Reviews for my comic Triple Negative would be appreciated. WOW. I really, /really/ liked this. It's cute, first of all because the art is quite good. I like the variety in the pet colors that were selling the PB. Second of all, because that happens to me all the time and I hate it so much. Great, great job, and I hope to be seeing more from you soon!!

12 Most Dangerous Places in Neopia by snoopkid8
I, for one, rather enjoyed this article. Some of the puns were a bit old, which made the overall quality seem the slightest bit juvenille, but I liked it overall. It was well written and I saw only a select few minor grammatical errors. It was an interesting approach to a "list article" which seems to be a new trend among NT publications. It was clever, though, and even listed some places that I'd never heard of. I liked it, and I hope to see more from this author.

Reviews for my comic Triple Negative would be appreciated. It was really quirky. It's totally true - They say they know how much it's worth, but they don't tell you. Heh. Well done!

Character-driven? aren't all stories character-driven? but I'm glad you identified with her. ^^ And spiff- I used a device without even realising it! ^^ Some stories are plot-driven, where you don't always need strong characters to hook the reader and the characters always serve the plot even if it is OoC.

;D Thank you all for the kind comments on my comic. :3 Now for my comic reviews! LePhante Wow, that's a lotta' panels! I like the repetition of panel direction and style, it helps to drive the comic. But my greatest panel is also panel organization. It's quite difficult to figure out the order of the panels, and those little arrows don't quite cut it. It's best to design panels that flow easily to the next panel, rather than try and force the viewer's eye with arrows. It's a very cute comic, though. I especially love the progression of time with the background, it's quite effective. The dialogue is a bit lengthy, and I think some of the sentences could be shortened effectively. For example, the last panel of the Kyrii, his dialogue is awfully long, and it's fit in that oddly shaped bubble. I don't think the background of Sakhmet was important enough to alter bubbles to show it. The last little thing that's bothering me is the topic. The Desert plot ended a while ago, so the comic feels dated. Granted, it might not be your fault, since heldovers can last forever. It's quite difficult to manage a successful current comic, what with the NT being out only once a week, and with plots flying by as fast as they do. Overall though, I like this comic, and look forward to many more. Pet Patrol RevolutionHehe. I've always held a firm stance against the animated comic, but I've often found yours to be the exception. While this script could've been done with a static comic, it was the animation that was the humor. In fact, I found the roller coaster scene almost more amusing than the actual punchline. The animation has a great sense of weight and timing. The sound effects were perfectly synched, though a tad loud. @_@; Serves me right for not turning my volume lower before playing it. Jokewise, it was quite clever. Hehe, a comic that can stand alone outside of Neo. Those have the added benefit of being able to show them to regular non-neo friends and family. ;D That issue has actually been something I think about relatively often. It's hard to have a big collection of comics you couldn't show any friends simply because they don't understand what codestones are, or who Fyora is. ... But I digress. I applaud the casual use of the Virtupets to squeek a coaster into Neopia. Overall, this was quite the humorous comic. It's nice to see PPR more often. :3 Triple Negative Gyaaah, I can totally relate to this comic! I know so many other Neopians also feel the irony. It's a topic that isn't ever covered, but it's something that is felt among most every Neopian. So bravo first on choice of topic. I mean, the punchline itself was predictable from the beginning, but it was one of those comics where you read the first part and go "Haha! I hate that!" and continue reading, and go "Oh man, and that too! Gaah!" etc. If that makes any sense, hehe. Artwise, it's quite nice. I love the softness of the coloring and lineart. It's really pleasant to look at. I also enjoy the varying perspectives of the tables and the traders. Even the little things such as the nice variety of looks and personalities of each of the traders matches the subtle emotions inherit in their particular bits of dialogue. The flow works quite well, and I'm glad you kept all the traders in one unbroken panel rather than separating each with a dividing panel line. My only complaint in the art is the bits towards the edges. Some of the colors bleed just a bit outside the panels. Also, the tables' linearts don't quite reach the edge. It's quite distracting, especially since those bits are right next to the dialogue bubbles, so they're impossible to overlook. Otherwise, it's such a pretty comic to look at, and it's funny to boot. Probably one of my faves this week. ^^ ___ Any other comics want reviews?

;D Mkay! Notions and NonsenseXDDD lol! I'll admit it, I have never been a big fan of the pun. And all those punny comics really just evoked nothing more than a groan from me. But this one was actually quite funny. Heh. In fact, I was planning on sending a little fanmail abou this comic. I mean, I suppose I should've seen the punchline coming, but I seriously didn't, and it was quite delightful. It sorta' seems like something I should've heard somewhere else, but since I didn't, I liked it. :3 I'm sure to others, it was still a groaner comic, if they had heard that joke before. But still, I liked it, and now I'm just rambling. The dialogue is quite nice and to the point. And you know, now that I think about it, I'm glad you used the phrase 'couple of choices' rather than 'two choices,' because I think I might have actually guessed the punchline if you had used the word 'two.' Weird how the shade of that word would've given it away. Hm. And for the artist, it was a nice clean comic. The colors are quite pleasant, and the colored dialogue is also done nicely. Oh, and I really wanted to give you props for body language. It comes across very well, especially the image of Lady Jade in the last panel. The menacing leaning forward really adds to the dialogue. Oooh, and even the change of position of the ixi's hoof in panel three. Those are quite nice details in such a simple comic. And big props for not cut and pasting anything, even the body of the ixi! Squee!
